The worst experience I have ever had at my local McDonalds!!!
Upon my arrival to McDonalds at The Gap in Brisbane, at approximately 5.45pm on Friday June 23, with my young daughter and trolley full of shopping in hand, I was quickly greeted by a male employee, before I had even sat down, who bluntly told me that I could not leave my trolley on the property and that I had to return it to Coles. My response to that was "are you joking?" to which he replied: "Well, its not our job to return your trolley for you."
As you can assume, I was well taken aback by his blunt and blatantly rude attitude in not only how he spoke to me, in front of my child mind you, but in how he even approached me in the first instance.
He targeted me from the second he saw me with the trolley and then he just assumed that I was going to be rude enough to just leave it there, on their property. He never bothered to speak to me with any level of kindness, basic maturity or professionalism. He was one of these people who put on a "suit", and then think they can treat everyone else like shit.
Mate - you work at McDonalds. Not exactly something you should be proud of - it is something 14 and 15 year old kids do.
Because of the deplorable behaviour of this guy, that I was forced to have to tolerate, I will be reporting him to the Senior Store Manager as well as McDonalds Head Office.
Something tells me that this guy won't last very long. Maybe he can next try his luck at HJs! LOL :) read more
