I've had Uber eats from here a couple times and the food is really good. Not sure about what the actual place is like but if it's anything like the food I'm sure it's great. read more

They have a large menu which is quite appealing when you have different people wanting different things. Cheeseburgers, wings, salads, and the like Their food is great, so is the service. You pick a table take note of your table number) and when you're ready you just head up to the bar to order. It's a short wait for food (which is delivered to your table). We hit this place two nights in a row it was that good. Overall I give 51st Street Burger Bar four stars out of five.

In all honesty, I wasn't hungry, but I hadn't eaten anything in over 12 hours, and knew I needed to. A lot of the menu has a lot going on, so I asked the employee for the most simple burger, and fries. Though it was a simple burger it was not lacking in flavor. The bun was perfect and soft. The bun was well cooked and flavorful. I wish I was in town long enough to come back and get one of their specialty burgers because this place I'm sure is worth multiple visits.

We also ordered the wasabi lime dipping sauce. The burgers were tasty and well-seasoned. Every bite was a little different, and I couldn't quite place the spice mixture, but it was savoury and nice. The chips were ordinary. Could use slightly more seasoning, but the dipping sauce added another dimension. One of the guys from the back came out and asked how everything was. The guys (owners?) seemed to take a lot of pride in the restaurant! Well done, but more salt on the fries please!

Its sheer ostentatious colour scheme has a hypnotic effect, you start to salivate and when you regain consciousness you're inside. Show tunes play in the background making you want for nothing more than to hop on a stool and wait of a frosty cold milkshake to slide your way. Then you realize you're in Milk. A modern take on the traditional milk bar/diner from classic times of jukeboxes and Fonzarelli. Being a café that's situated in one of Brisbane's busiest suburbs, Milk caters for a wide range of consumers. For those are time poor and in a rush, there is take away coffee and a display fridge carrying a selection of premade wraps and sandwiches. In addition, there is also a wide range of cakes, candy, ice cream and slices for the sweet tooth. After ordering at the counter, those with time in their corner have the option of sitting inside or outside. All around me there are mothers, business people, teenagers (on holidays) chatting, laughing and networking. It's a relaxing and family friendly atmosphere and the staff only amplify the surroundings. You can tell that Milk, with its nod towards traditional good service and quality foods encourages repeat business. For a lot of people in the room, I wouldn't be surprised if they were regulars sitting at their favorite tables eating their favorite food. For my induction into the Milk fold, I've ordered a Chicken Licken Burger ($16.90) and a Banana Milkshake. When it comes out it's more than worth the dollars I've chucked into it. Halfway through I'm full but determined to finish my meal. Not because I'm a sucker for punishment but because of how great its tastes. The pain is worth it.

I first heard about it from a friend and she described it to me as a 50s milk and burger bar, so naturally my eyes widened and I was keen for the first opportunity to eat there. Walking in there is just so much yellow! Yellow lounges, yellow and white striped interior awnings, yellow staff shirts, and a yellow website if you feel like having a look. It's really well furnished and gives off an air of retro glamour without any of the tacky elements that people sometimes associate with retro, yet it's also modern. I don't know how they managed to pull that off, but the end product is an amazingly inviting café where I want a boy wearing a bowtie and Ray Bans to take me for a milkshake and ask me to go steady. Or a bad boy wearing a leather jacket à la Grease. Either is good thanks. The breakfast menu caters for every nation. And by that I mean you can choose from an English brekky, Welsh, Australian (with chips, obviously), Irish, Balinese, Scottish, Jamaican, Italian, and so many more! And I saw kiddies running around with cute little cupcakes. They also serve real tea, not teabag tea and make a really good cup of coffee. Did I also mention the music? I heard flashes of Tom Jones, the Beatles, the Carpenters and, wait for it, Disney. Beauty and the Beast to be exact. Be Our Guest, to be more exact. Need I say more?

I'd been walking by this place for a week now and finally decided to go in. I asked the girl at the…read moreregister if they could give me a bunless option, to which she said yes. I suppose I should've been a little clearer as I'd wanted a lettuce wrap. Not a huge deal as they had plastic ware on site. I chose the bacon burger with two patties. The burgers were very juicy and grilled to perfection. The bacon could have been more crispy, but not a deal breaker. I chose the chipotle mayo which was tasty and paired well with the fries. The fries were crispy and had a flavorful seasoning on them. To round it out, I got a peanutbutter milkshake at the suggestion of the cashier; she said they were delicious. She was not wrong. The shake was awesome! The restaurant is fairly small and there's not much to talk about other than the cool wallpaper and weekly top 20 beats pumping through the stereo. Great place to get a burger and hang out.

Remy's is a mostly help yourself kinda place (find your own seat, get your own cutlery/water and order at the counter) but once I figured that out I was set. The breakfast menu is quite simple with a handful of items you'd expect from a breakfast menu. Today I opted for the Bacon and Eggs on Sourdough which sounded pretty simple but I was in the mood for bacon! Once my meal arrived it wasn't the prettiest picture but boy did it taste good. Let me break it down for you: - the bacon was thick (as described on the menu) and was amazing, who knew making bacon thicker made it more delicious!? - the eggs were poached to perfection. All oozy and good! - the sourdough was magical and appeared to be fried/saturated in butter which is a very good thing! - the salad was basic leafy greens but cut through the greasiness and the balsamic was a nice treat (I haven't had balsamic in a while) - the relish was a nice accompaniment, adding a sweet/spicy component to the meal. Overall it was delicious and filling! The coffee here was pretty delicious. I left here on a caffeine high after consuming a flat white and a long black. The bean is from Supreme which is fast becoming my fave coffee. The service was decent but nothing to rave about. As mentioned before majority of seating is outdoors so not so good is raining.

The burger joint has a surprisingly great selection of taps, spirits and cocktails. I dragged myself outta bed and into the car to get myself some crazy ass fries and a ginger beer. I have learnt that if that won't fix me, nothing will. My date took advantage of the $6.50 wings special and we chatted to the bartender as we worked our way through our food. I need to talk to you about these fries. Perfect thickness of chip with Ze sauce and maple bacon. Maple bacon. Like, come on! I was informed that the wings were perfect. Not too spicy and not at all oily. Burger+Shake+ fries =22$ Had the strawberry jam and the salted caramel ones and they're both amazing very creamy. House made cherry cola is good reminds me of Dr Pepper. A bit too sweet after a few sips but unique. Not a lot of burger options but the ones they do they do well. One of the better burger joints in town for sure. Recommend their Brie burger it was limited time but hopefully they keep it on. Seating: choose between street seating or inside seating. Fries are perfect crunchy to flavor ratio. I recommend the regular fries the chili ones don't add that much more flavor for the price. They're mild flavors so don't expect McDonald's shake fries level. The plain ones are actually a very good balance in flavor. Price expect to pay 12$ per burger or 20-25$ combos.
