If you consider dining here, may I first give some advice. Go through the drove through and grab a handful of the spare change in the donation box for the Ronald McDonald house. Stick every car ashtray harvested coin into your mouth. Roll them around the different taste zones of your tongue so that connected coins may part and you can experience the complexities of flavor. Swallow, and smile broadly giving praise to God for avoiding a terrible alternative. I cant say anything other than what everyone else has brought up multiple times. I actually like eating at McDonald's occasionally, but have gotten to the point where I will only eat at one outside of the county, even though this one is literally five minutes from where I work. There are no standards followed or met here...whatever is pushed out is apparently fine. Manager/owner just doesn't care. Orders are wrong on a consistent basis. Food is improperly prepared. Service is slow. I guess the owners of this store just coast on the ignorance of traffic passing through to keep them afloat and it has been so for years. Lazy works in this case, so that's what we get. Pitiful. So disappointing. When I visit the McD's near my parents house, the orders are correct, the food is fresh, the staff is friendly, and everything tastes as it should. That almost never happens here. If it tells you anything, I've been to Arbys (across the street), Custard Stand (just down the street), and Wendy's (other side of the interstate), some multiple times since I've been to this McDonalds. I am unsure of what anyone expects of McDonald's, but I recall 40 years ago when you got your order in under a minute. How long does coffee take? There is a double drive thru, so now you can wait twice as long. This brings me to an important subject. Your automobile is not a dining room, unless you have a land yacht (but that's another story). Back to the McDonald's. No longer curious about why this particular place only has one star. As sweet as the young lady was who took our order and our money, along with assembling everyone's orders, we wondered what the five people in the back were doing. Especially because all the customers were standing in line, and interestingly, the drive thru was empty. Back to the farm. If I could give this -5 stars I would. Some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. Went through the drive thru, we pull up to the first window and sat there for a minute no one ever came so we pulled up to the second window. Just got stared at there, when someone finally opened the window my husband asked them if they said first or second window and the lady rolled her eyes and said first, he said sorry and she walked off with an attitude. Another lady handed him our food and when he said thank you she rolled her eyes and turned around and walked off. Glad I live a county over and don't have to come to this location often. read more

My wife and I decided to go to the local McDonald's for dinner and ordered a large fry with extra salt, a 10 piece mcnugget and a quarter pounder delux. The large fry was half-fillef with old rubbery Fry's. The 10 piece contained expired chicken nuggets and only contained 9 of them instead of the advertised 10. The sandwich was sloppy but acceptable, and there was no extra salt in the take out bag. We drove back and got another fry for my wife and one of the cook line employee's displayed a aggressive posture toward me while the girl running the window got the new Fry's. I do not recommend this McDonald's to anyone else, it is poorly managed and the customer service is a joke. read more

Horrible. Orders are always screwed up. For breakfast I order Egg White Delight with no cheese. Last time they gave me an English muffin with cheese and bacon ONLY. No egg. Orders frequently filled incorrectly, drive thru line often backs up clear around and out to the highway, and if they don't have an item that you order, they'll substitute without telling you. Once ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch salad and got a Asian Sesame Horrible Tasting Crap salad instead. I was back at work before I found out. The unsweet teas are almost always sweet, and if you forget to check and put sweetener in them anyway, then they're undrinkable. If it's breakfast, go across the street to Arbys. Was on a solo bike trip with my dog, Chester. Ordered a Big Mac for myself, a cheeseburger without condiments for Chester. I unwrapped his, picked it to small bits as he's tiny, and began to eat. I was half way done, and looked down, and Chester was turning his nose up. I have went to this McDonald's several times and each visit I have some hope that they will meet my expectations... and every time I am sadly disappointed. My last visit, the line took 10 minutes to place our order and 20 minutes waiting on our food. Seriously?! This is suppose to be fast food. If I wanted to waste an hour, I would have eaten at a much higher quality restaurant! My family of 5 had all ordered non complicated meals and menu items. Nothing out of the ordinary or spealized. I received the wrong sized Mocha Frappe (paid for a large and received a small) and my son received a 4 piece chicken nugget happy meal (paid a cheeseburger mighty kids meal). Everything tasted fine except for my mocha frappé, which had at least 1/2 cup of chocolate syrup that I had not requested settled in the bottom of the cup. I am writing about a personal experience I had with the McDonald'sin Flatwoods, WV. I had went thru the drive thru, ordered a chicken sandwich. I assumed I had everything, drink, fries & my sandwich. After pulling out on the road and upon opening my sandwich, it was no sandwich. They never even put bread on it. I turned around and took it back, and spoke to the manager, Darlene Peters,whom I will never forget. I told her about the sandwich, and she stated that was a lowfat sandwich for me. What a rude comment for a paying customer, especially when her big butt would not fit on the hood of my fullsize Dodge Truck. The sandwich was remade and handed to me, no apologies or anything. My experience was awful. I went in because the drive-thru was backed up. There was only one person ahead of me. I ordered a small iced Caramel coffee. I waited and waited while one of the staff members walked around berating her coworkers. She calls my number and hadn't even started my drink.
