Located on Vasagatan, a stone's throw away from both Stockholm Central and Stockholm City stations is this branch of McDonald's, it is a fairly large location.
I came here just to grab a sweet potato fries and medium pear milkshake - it came to 55 kronas which obviously shows it is more expensive to get things from here if you don't combine it with a meal-deal, with a standard Double Cheeseburger and co, which comes with fries and a small drink for 49 krona anyway works out much deal - with the only difference being a large sweet potato fries instead of a medium regular, and a medium milkshake instead of a large one.
I used the online ordering machines which were pretty useless - the allergy filter like every McDonald's location didn't appear to work and shown gluten, meat and two more for every option. My original card payment didn't work causing the screen to malfunction and freeze for no reason.
When my food arrived with table service, I was rather angry as despite asking for sweet potato fries around half a dozen of them were probably regular chips which probably got in with an uncareful scoop after they fried them together - the sweet potato ones especially had no crispiness or flavour, they were soggy and bland.
My milkshake was okay, apart from being a little too thick for the straw.
The store also isn't great for disabled access with many tables being long, communal tables with stools which are mounted to the floor, meaning you can't move them out to give you more room to sit down or swap for a wheelchair/pram, limiting where people who need it can sit - for me it makes no sense to mount chairs down, what are they expecting someone to steal a horrible, hard, backless chair?
Multiple issues throughout the restauraunt from how the online ordering machines worked and tried to avoid promoting any offers or explaining the dishes, to the quality of my food and access issues I wouldn't recommend this store - my excitement to try two new things we can't get in the UK stores was shortlived.
