Typically, they're very fast and make everything perfect. They keep everything very clean and most of the employees are super nice.

But if you keep walking, it opens up into another section with booths. It honestly looks like an employees-only area at first, so we weren't sure if we were supposed to go back there There's also a side entrance that leads directly into that dining area, which makes a lot more sense once you figure out the layout. The place looks a little worn down, but honestly, it adds to the charm and gives it that classic local spot feel. I ordered the burger, onion rings, and cheddar jalapeño poppers, and everything was really good. Bonus points for serving Pepsi products! Always a win for me! The guy working was also incredibly friendly and was somehow managing both cooking and serving. He immediately noticed how confused we looked walking in and kindly pointed us toward the seating area in the back. Great food and genuinely welcoming service. Also, I want to note that their kids meals were only like $3.75....this is perfect because my kids never eat their food!!

I had the quarter pounder with cheese, an order of onion rings, and in order of mushrooms. Service was fast and polite. The burger was good, as always. Onion rings are great and the mushrooms. We're okay. Don't let the ambiance scare you away. The food has been good as long as I've been coming here.

A co-worker spoke highly of this chain, so I had been counting the days until its Grand Opening…read more The first weekend, the drive-through line extended into the street, a good sign for the restaurant but not a great sign for getting in and out. Several weeks later, when the crowds died down, I popped in for dinner. The small parking lot was nearly full; I snagged the last spot. Maybe this is more of a to-go place? The menu is very limited. Essentially, there are various combinations of (3, 4, and 6) chicken fingers with fries and sides. There is also a chicken sandwich. I ordered the Box Combo, which includes four chicken fingers, sauce, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, and a beverage, but I was worried I would still be hungry. The staffer reassured me that it would be more than enough. And she was right. The sizable chicken fingers were juicy and tender with a tasty, crunchy coating. The crinkle-cut fries were a-okay, as was the coleslaw. However, I did not care for the sauce, expecting it to be a bit sweeter, like J. Alexander's, nor did I care for the toast. The team staffing the restaurant was top-notch. They stayed on top of cleaning up the restaurant and replacing the garbage cans while remaining friendly and pleasant to customers.

The sauce is almost a requirement. Even with the sauce, it felt under seasoned. I will never return. The bread was good, fries ok, the chicken, very sad.

I needed breakfast since these procedures tend to start so early in the morning. The choices were slim and it was either a McDonald's or a coney. A Coney will win every time so here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right off the main drag in Chelsea is this gem. It's right next to a McDonald's, but this place was pretty busy and I was very happy to see that. There is a private parking lot where you can put your fly ride and even spaces around the back. There's also outdoor seating for the couple of months where there's nice weather here in Michigan. Inside is your typical diner and exactly what I expected. Service: The server never gave me her name, but it's all good. She was patient with me, gave me good recommendations and made sure I had everything that I needed. When you're done eating you do have to get up and go pay on your own at the front. Food: For breakfast I went with the Greek Scrambler. It consists of gyro meat, feta cheese, mushrooms and scrambled eggs. I added green onions for a bit more crunch. On the side I upgraded my toast to the Cinnamon Swirl Toasts. Everything was pretty good, but I did find myself adding a bit of salt and pepper to the scramble. However the Cinnamon Swirl Toast was excellent. Perfect as is. Value: This diner felt pricy, but maybe it was just me. My tall glass of orange juice was $3.79. That's basically the price of a whole container... but no matter. The Greek Scrambler started off at $12.99, but to add a topping of ANY KIND, it's $1.49 so that was for the green peppers. To upgrade to the Cinnamon Swirl Toast was another $1.99. So when it's all said and done, I came out $21.47. Seems steep for a diner breakfast, but aye, this place was packed so people must swear by it! I... guess I could too. I did like my food and a few of my friends actually said they like it there too and that they've never had a bad meal there. That says a lot! Check this place out if you're in the area.
