My service at this McDonald's was extremely disappointing. I always expect the worst given the fact that it is McDonald's, but I've never had a terrible experience with one until now. This is the worst that I have visited in my area. It was completely unorganized. When I came to pick up my food, the lady didn't come out with my drinks. She said to stay and she would bring them out. 20 minutes passed, and there was no sign of the lady or my drinks. I ended up having to go in and ask them about the drinks, because it seemed that they had forgot about them. They seemed confused and I felt judged. I believe this McDonald's was recently renovated, so the interior is nice. However, the service left a horrible impression on me, and I doubt if I will ever return. read more

Placed an order in app for drive thru and when I got there there was a 10+ car line and after parking to go get the order from inside I found the doors to be locked while at least 6 employees sat on their phones in the dining room. I try to be understanding but this branch does the absolute bare minimum. They are beyond lazy and it is extremely frustrating to wait for sub par services. I would not recommend them at all. Waited in their line past 10:30am and they switched from breakfast to lunch.. then when I asked for Egg and Cheese biscuits they said no we're on lunch now.. easiest breakfast sandwich they couldn't make to make their customer happy and I WAS IN LINE BEFORE "LUNCH" AND ON TOP OF THAT ITS SUNDAY!!! This place is an abomination. I worked at McDonald's in high school and let me tell you - there is NO WAY that corporate would put up with 40 minute drive thru times on a regular basis. This is regarding the location in Crestwood, MO on Watson Road. Keep in mind that employees change so what is bad recently may be improved in the future. So take a good look at the date this is posted. As of this date, for now, we are no longer going to risk investing our money, effort and needing to feed people on doing business with this location. If you order through a delivery service, the delivery people are given your order in a sealed brown bag so they can't verify if your order is all there. It's 100 percent on McDonalds if the order is correct or complete. So in recent times, more times than not, our orders are not complete, quality is poor (like far, far below typical McDonald's standards). Today a nice extra sense of greasiness was present in what did show up. It's one thing if it's just a fluke, but when it suddenly becomes a consistent issue when you order from them, something's up. Plus the powers that be at McDonalds, need to consider that a shrug of the shoulders and "sorry" is not the only answer. Refunds are not the only answer... Their mistakes can mean someone goes without getting to eat, and the effort it takes to get refunds (when through delivery service) or having to pay for gas for someone to back to the store to then wait in line to get it fixed, it's just not always possible or worth risking going through. Of course you are going to lose business. It doesn't have to be that way. It's lovely to get an apology and your money back.However it doesn't make up many times for what customers are put through. You can not use the words quick, fast, speedy or any other word that means short time when you are referring to this store, I went in tonight to grab a burger figuring get it and go. Never happened! I don't think I have ever spent this much time waiting to get someone to take my order at any restaurant in my life. 17 minutes! Plus it was another 9 minutes until I received it ! Morning and afternoon staff very good, food is always fresh and everyone is very nice. Now for the night crew...absolute trash. Especially the older lady that works at night she's so rude to you without you even saying a word. The staff obviously do not know how to expedite the food to the customer when the manager is not there. Moved to the spot as instructed to wait for my food and after waiting over 15 min they bring the wrong food out and find out they game my food to another car. I had to ask for my money back and that was another problem because they couldn't keep track of everyone's order. If they haven't given receipts to each customer when they received payment might have helped. Make sure you get your receipt! Once upon a time when a restaurant made a mistake you got your meal free, I understand that there are times that may be questionable but this time was definitely their fault. This restaurant deserves ZERO stars for customer service and stale cold fries. I encountered the rudest middle-aged female employee there tonight at the drive through since the restaurant closes early. I had two mobile orders, one for me and one for my son. I also had two printed coupons for a free small beverage. At the window, gave her my credit card. Then, I realized I forgot to give her the printed coupons. She told me she already rang it up and to use it next time. I stated that I wanted a refund. She then said in her rudest tone, "You should of give it to me first." I kept on apologizing and she mumbled something under her breath and then started complaining to the other employees there. I did nothing to deserve this utmost rude treatment. Looks like things have not gotten much better since the last review here. In the past, I have gotten pretty good burgers and fries. That's when they are busy. No line of cars? Best to stop elsewhere. Last night, 7:30pm got a quarter pounder and medium fries. People can tell if fast food has been sitting out and this burger and fries were not freshly cooked. Seems this is normal for them to cook in advance, but who really knows how long it sits there? Pretty much the same where ever you go. You don't and it's a crap shoot every visit. Sat in the drive thru on a 96 degree day for 15 minutes (with no a/c). By the time I got to the window to pay I asked if there was a discount for the wait. I was told my item was already on sale so I couldn't get anything extra off. I didn't even want my item anymore. I just wanted to leave. Unfortunately for me, their drive thru is set up where you can't just pull out and leave. At other drive thru places if a cars order is taking too long they will have them pull forward to keep the line moving.
