Stopped here on way back from Florida on what shaped up to be an absolute nosebleed nightmare of a trip that lasted nearly 18 hours in a vehicle that I basically was chained to drive. Was a rented car so oh well. This is your standard McDonalds really. You kind of get what you're used to and what you should expect with any McDonald's anywhere. Which is: 1.) a semi-clean dining room. There are usually a large crowd at points so keeping the area clean can be a challenge and really - just in general - you don't come to a McDonalds for a dine-in great experience and a five star dining experience. 2.) decent food overall. It's fast-food. You know what you are getting because the staff is trained to make the items the same way over and over and over. Really if you have a bad meal there's really something wrong. 3.) mild bathroom cleanliness. Really a crapshoot. I would recommend putting toilet paper down on the seat and clean as much as possible before using rest room. I got an iced coffee and sandwich. It was standard overall. No thank you or your welcome when told thank you was given. We were the first of four orders in line. The other 3 were made and given out before ours. I was going to wash my hands, but the whole side of restaurant where the bathrooms were had a strong smell of urine. I decided to just order food and wash my hands elsewhere. I went to the counter, and noticed the area around the registers smelled like people who haven't showered in weeks. I wasn't smelling a particular person, but it was actually the odor within the restaurant. The cashier then informed me they could only accept cash for payment. If I could give zero stars I would! This was the worst mc Donald's experience we have ever had! If you are passing through town on I95, AVOID THIS MCDONALDS AT ALL COST! We were there an HOUR! 1 HOUR to order food to go at a mc Donald's is ABSURD! The drive thru and the inside was packed and the girl working the counter was completely rude working at super sloth speed. She seriously didn't have any urgency in her actions. Everyone in the restaurant was SHOCKED at how long everything was taking. All orders were messed up and people kept having to request additional items they ordered. We ordered coffees and a smoothie with our order and the coffees were just sitting there long after our food was provided to us and every time we asked about them, another employee would say "oh she's getting that". Who "she was, we had no clue. Then, after our coffees were given to us we realized we still didn't have our smoothie. We asked about it and got no response. A few moments later the rude cashier who helped us walked up and handed my husband a receipt with change. He looked confused and asked, "What is this?". The girl said "your refund". She started to walk away and he said "refund for what?". She said "your smoothie". He replied, " We don't want a refund, we want our smoothie!". She said ,"the machine is broken" and walked away again. We stood there totally confused and utterly frustrated at this point since we literally had been at this mc Donald's an entire hour at this point waiting for our breakfast. Sad to see what customer service is now a days. Stopped here to eat on the way home from a trip and it seemed as if only one person was working. One of our orders from the kiosk never was processed and while waiting we watched as two younger female employees were doing tik tok videos while many people were waiting for orders work. Both of them were not in uniform and their hair was unkept and the one's hair kept going into food and food areas. They had long braids (one near to the floor) and it just didn't seem sanitary for it to be flowing around into food areas. Do not eat here. Just don't. I am not one to write bad reviews but this is worthy of me taking the time to help someone not make the same mistake our family made. We stopped here on our way home from vacation. We needed something quick and fast to tied the children over. The drive-thru looked insane so we decided to go inside to get our food to-go. The place was packed. You'd have thought they were giving free food away! Normally that's a sign of a place you want to eat....a packed restaurant typically means something is good inside. My mistake. After we ordered, we received a number. Watching the back, you could see there were tons of people working but no one was hustling. They all seemed so inefficient. So, we waited and waited and waited....for 3 McChicken sandwiches, it took over 20 minutes. Nothing special, nothing extraordinary, just a regular McChicken sandwich. I got in the car, we started driving and I unwrapped them and they were cold, soggy and had a mess of sloppy mayonnaise all over the place. The lettuce was brown and rubbery. All of the sandwiches were flat and pushed down...as if a person had literally smashed the sandwich bread down when they made them earlier. The kids couldn't even eat them. I wish I had glanced at yelp prior to eating here.
