My boss treated us this morning and all the food was disgusting, they gave me no jelly, syrup even though I asked 3 x's and the bagels on the sandwiches were as hard as a rock. We work hard and when we get treated by upper management we would like to enjoy the meal. We are really upset. Greasy, nasty, cold food! FYI - the orange juice was so watered down and hot! Order specific toppings on a cheeseburger , or rather order only 2 total- cheese and ketchup. Walk the burger in, where no less than 4 staff looked directly at me, while standing around and no one asking if they can help. The remake was forgotten about and had ketchup all over the wrapper. AND had pieces of onion at the edge. This was for a 9 year old. The cussing in store by staff, apparent lack or leadership and cleaning abilities lead me to recommend not going to this location. Based on my drive-thru experience for breakfast: First time in Springfield and I need breakfast. I get in line at the drive-thru and the young taking my order was super nice. She apologized for the iced coffee machine that was out of order. I paid and got my order for another young lady who was also friendly. Stopped for breakfast at McDonald's (#13877). The person taking our order seemed half awake and rude. After confirming our order, she said in a very rude tone "Pull around." No please and she never said to go to the second window. While waiting at the first window we were ignored by several employees who walked past the window. After deciding to pull up to the next window the woman who took our order finally leaned out the window to wave us on to the correct window. After taking payment and giving us our order she did finally tell us to have a good day, but it was flat and like she had been told she had to say it. It was not welcoming at all, especially when morning is a great opportunity to help start someone's day off on a good note. The food the good and the employees seemed okay, but there are just way too many homeless around this location. A homeless couple approached every car in the line asking for money (they were clearly strung out) and the employees didn't do anything about it. The homeless people then left and go into an argument in the street. I did have to switch out of the right lane into the left lane after sitting there for 7 minutes with nobody asking me for my order. We got impatient and left. I called this location and they said "technical difficulties happen". Multiple ty iple times at this location and others I have ordered sandwiches without cheese, and get a sandwich with a grill slip attache saying with out cheese...and the sandwich had cheese. 7 of the last 8 visits this has happened...tonight took the cake. I ordered a large coke in a very quiet drive-thru. That was all and I got a Dr. Pepper. I asked for it to be replaced... the drive was still quiet into the speaker I explained what happened...and the response I got was...."I don't know what to tell you." Just go to the time 3:50 central standard time Mcdonalds on south grand. Then tell me why the change over took 30 mins and they started to change over right at 3 am. At the same time when the last bars close. Please am I wrong to be piss. Then after waiting 47 mins, they tell me I can't have want I want because it's only breakfast. Then when I order my food they get it wrong it 4:06 and im still at the window. So after the manager gets mad at me for them messing up my order. Once again I rated this a two, but only because I live their buttermilk chicken sandwich and their close vicinity. I ordered two buttermilk chicken sandwich dinners, 4 Mcchickens, a large fry and two holiday pies. Before I left the drive-up screen I saw that she had written down 2 apple and 2 holiday pies for $22.45. When I got to the window she said that it would be $24.58 (which was totally different from the screen), so I nicely told her that we didn't want the apple pies, only holiday pies. She shut her window for a few minutes and then said, "That will be $25.01." I asked For what? She closed the window again, called a manager and opened the window and said, "$24.58." Then upon getting to the window he said the total and took my card without a hi or anything and projected an attitude that he didn't want to be there. Upon getting to the food window the girl working had long braids that kept brushing all over our cups as she got them in a drink carrier. She also had extremely long and unsanitary looking fake nails on. This is not the first time we've had a poor experience at this location and it seems that since it sold to a different owner that it has really went down hill. read more

Went there on Christmas Eve (Eve) and got a few plain double cheeseburgers, fries, and a caramel frappe drink. We made the holy pit stop at McDonald's on South Grand. Usually they are very kind, and professional. However, there was an older gentleman who was working the window and he must have thought the glass was thicker than it is. You could literally hear him badmouthing me because I didn't respond to " Good Evening" quick enough. He even made an effort to point us out to the younger gentleman who was working that night. That poor bloke looked so embarrassed to be thrust into such a situation. I have never felt so belittled but I suppose I shouldn't expect 5-star service from such a place. Habitually dealing with horrendous service. There are a few pleasant employees at night but for the most part they are rude, act like they arent even capable of taking a correct order and they consistently have issues with a broken ice cream machine to the extent that they will take your order for ice cream or shakes and then wait until youve waited in line for it only to tell you the machine is down yet again. For a mcdonalds, they are literally the worst. The fact that they remodeled the facade and interior doesnt make up for the lack in employee competency or hiring utter fools to operate a business. This is from a few months ago, but i am new to this app and thought to share. I was with a few friends and we went through ordering just a few drinks and a couple ice cream cones and one meal. First off all the check was wrong and the food. We tried to tell the window person, and she wasn't understanding. So after repeating ourselves several times, the girl started to get an attitude with us. The food was corrected, not the check, which we were overcharged on. Also, one of the drinks was an unsweet tea when my friend ordered a sweet tea, so we let them know, they gave us a new one and we started to leave, only to find out it was still unsweet. My friends were very irritated at this point because off all of the mistakes and struggle for a simple order. So we went back, were bad mouthed, the manager came to us, underminded our problem, had an attitude, and then gave us 2 teas & shut and locked the window and walked away--again UNSWEET. So we just left and let it be. But the original window girl we were speaking with has had an attitude anytime I've gone before on other equations & has even tried to fight a girl I was in the car with one time.
