Everytime I come through the drive through I wait 10+ minutes for my food. I never try to complain because I know what it's like to work in retail/food industry, and employees are treated pretty terribly, but when you fill all your drive through spots and are having to pile people in to wait it's really a staffing issue, the staff seem out of touch. Which I get it some days at work are hard but when the environment is so bad I would never step foot in the building? McDonald's really needs to look at this restaurant and fix things. read more

My wife went through the drive through a few weeks ago with my daughter and the person taking the order royally messed up the drinks. I get it, stuff like that can happen especially with how the wind can hit the speaker. That part wasn't so bad. My wife got up to the window and proceeded to tell the Less than stellar worker at the window the correct drink order. She got it wrong so again... so my wife started to taste the drinks to make sure they were correct. So one of the males in the grill like yells something along the line of " why are you giving her so many drinks?" To which the less than stellar idiot worker replied, " 'cause dis' b***ch keeps tasting them." Maybe if you would listen and use your brain you would get the order right and she would not have had to taste the drinks? If I could give this place a zero star I would. Go to another McDonald's, this one is either the worst or second worst in Springfield. The quality of employee is very much in the toilet. The employees are rude and lack intelligence. read more

HORRIBLE... This is by far one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a McDonald's, which is saying a lot, first it took forever to get through the drive through (which is NOT a big deal) but what really got me was the lady who was fulfilling orders REPEATED my order fully before bringing the bag to me, so of course, I was hoping in the 10 seconds it took her to grab my food that nothing had changed from what she said to me, sure enough I drive all the way back to work missing my sauce, napkins and an entire cheeseburger, then when I call and with attitude say "is there a reason that my order was repeated to me and I still didn't get the right order" and the manager decided to get pissy back and said "maybe they forgot to put it in the bag idk" so I said "are you fucking serious?" And he asked for a receipt number WHICH THEY DONT GIVE YOU OVER THE APP, so I said something about them being "fucking incompetent" which definitely got to the "manager" because he hung up on me. So I then pull up to the McDonald's OBVIOUSLY upset that I had to turn back around go back and get the food I PAID FOR ALREADY just for him to act like he wasn't going to remake my food and AGAIN ASK FOR THE RECEIPT that I didn't have, so I show him my phone (held it up close enough to him to read it) and he then snatched my phone out of my hand, then I proceeded to snatch it back and say "are you fucking serious just look at the phone" and he then refused service... so not only did I get the wrong food, but they wouldn't even make it because I was "rude" I'm sorry McDonald's, that you couldn't make my double cheeseburger, Mchicken and fries properly so I had to waste my ENTIRE LUNCH BREAK got upset and called you "fucking incompetent" and snatched my phone back out of your disgusting hands... if your the 5'5" manager who acts like he hates his life and works at this store JUST QUIT if you're life is that miserable that you have to treat customers like they are trash then just quit, find a job that's a little less trivial and maybe you'll do something in life. read more

I ordered a #7 breakfast but the cashier never gave me a receipt. When I got home I found they had charged me for $23.33 for a $7.89 meal. Upon calling the restaurant was told I would have to wait til next week cause the person who handles that isn't there or I would have to drive another hour up to their restaurant to get my money back. I would suggest no one use anything but cash as they will charge whatever they want on your debit card. read more

In fairness, I had been there the morning prior and the woman at the drive-thru was very nice and the order was correct. But at 10:30, the nightshift was unbelievable. Other then a government bureaucrat, you'll ever meet a more unpleasant person behind a counter. Dreadful. Everything else was more or less normal, cleanliness, food quality and so forth. If I could give this McDonalds a negative star review, I would. So yesterday, Wednesday, September 30, 2020, I ordered my meal. One of the items that I ordered was a 10 piece Spicy Chicken McNugget. I ordered these because my friend told me that they were delicious. While placing the order, they were all out of Dr. Pepper, no big deal so I ordered a Coca-Cola instead. When I approached the drive thru window, I was told by the employee at the window that they were all out of Coca-Cola, too. I asked the employee what drinks they had available and decided to choose a Root Beer, instead. Upon obtaining my order, I drove out of the drive through and on the road. I began eating the McNuggets as I was hungry due to having a long day at work and did not have time to eat during my lunch. After eating 3-5 McNuggets, I grabbed another one and noticed that the McNugget felt weird. I turned on my overhead light in my car and observed that the McNugget appeared to be bitten into. I did NOT bite into the McNugget and through process of elimination, it is safe to say that an employee bit into the McNugget and served it to me. I immediately felt sick to my stomach, nervous due to my food being tampered with, and called the manager on duty immediately. I spoke with a young man when I initially called who identified as a manager on duty. I informed him of what occurred and he immediately gave the phone to a female who was NOT FRIENDLY, SYMPATHETIC, OR EMPATHETIC, at all about the situation. She would not give me her name and stated "No I'm not giving you my name" to me. Please be advised that I recorded the phone call and all parties were aware of the phone call being recorded. She stated that her food was fresh. I begged to differ. I know someone who worked at McDonalds for YEARS (OVER twenty to be exact) and they even said that the food looked like it was sitting there for a long time and was cooked in very old grease. I attempted to call the store back after rudely being hung up on and nobody answered the phone. I even called from another phone number and they still did not pick up. Keep you and your family healthy and NEVER eat from this McDonalds. They CLEARLY have unsanitary business practices and now I'm forced to make a doctors appointment due to their negligence in handling my food. read more

Because of my extremely picky toddler I have gotten to know the McDonalds in the area fairly well. Again, I'm not a huge fan of McDonalds in general. But that being said, this location is pretty good. The fries (my toddler's fav) have been fresh, generous, and the employees represent the restaurant well. The drive thru moves along. read more
