I live in a small town so the only thing with a drive-through is this McDonald's. It is very consistent, like most McDonald's. Sometimes the fries are fresh and sometimes they're not so fresh. Everybody is usually very nice. And you know exactly what you're going to get. The pro tip for any McDonald's is to order your sandwich with one slight modification, like no onions, so that they can't give you the one that's just sitting there. I just tried the Stroop waffle Mcflurry and it is awesome. Great for lovers of Caramell and a little crunch. McDonald's coffee is the best coffee. Hands down. Don't at me. read more

For growing up around this area & have been to this location many times over the years... Let's start off with the wait... Every time no matter what time of day it is, you'll be waiting for what seems like a half hours and that's just to order your meal. Tonight, I sat at the speaker for a good 20 minutes & mind you there were ZERO customers in the restaurant/drive thru.. Next issue-- the food was completely cold. The filet o fish was still semi frozen in the middle, & the McChicken was hard as a rock. The bun was burnt-- along with the $1.79 corner piece of bacon I received on it. And to the last part of this, The kid at the drive thru literally threw the bag at me, and slammed the window in my face after I thanked him. He's lucky Im more forgiving than most, because if he treated someone else like the way he did to me tonight, I can say for certain he wouldn't have a job after clocking out at the end of his shift tonight. So all in all, you could say dinner really hit the spot (sarcasm) and my time was wasted. I don't normally rate McDonald's as it is McDonald's. There's going to be an array of experiences. We stopped here as a family after a recent lacrosse game. We were tired of being outside and wanted to use the curbside pickup app. We waited over 10 minutes for our food. Fine. It was 8pm and we placed an order for 3 meals. The restaurant was NOT busy. There was some in and out but not overwhelming. Chalking it up to staffing we waited and didn't say anything. We get our food. I wish I tool a pic. 2 of the 3 cheeseburgers had cheese. It was already a long day so I took the burger without cheese. Then comes dividing up the fries. 2 of the 3 fries were fine. The 3rd fry was literally placed in the bag upside down and spilled all over the bag. Not an 'ooops' it tipped over, but literally facing upside down like it was purposefully placed in the bag this way. Highly do NOT reccomend this Nichols St restaurant. Go somewhere else or to another McDonald's a few miles away. read more

Everytime I order a kids meal with the toy i chose on a online order you guys always give me the baby toy. Happened to me 3 times already. Get your stuff together! Its always mobile order and you see it on your screen and in front of your face. I worked at mcdonalds for 2 weeks and it was not hard at all. Also all you guys do nowadays is sing and dance whenever I go there. You guys also now pick and choose what orders you want to do instead of in order. I am getting annoyed at how customer service is becoming extinct. I understand this is a fast food business but when there is only one vehicle ahead and coffee is ordered and you know the coffee isn't fresh because it's cold and both pots are empty. You ask and the employees are too interested in the cell phones and conversations than the customer. Sad read more

This is my vent!!!! We frequent this store regularly primarily because the kids love McDonalds and it is the only location close to where we live. For the most part it is a good McDonalds compared to many (clean presentation and relatively polite service). However lately it has offered lackluster response times. On a few occasions It's taken over 40 minutes to get through the drive through during busy periods (6:00pm to 8:00pm). I have also now had four instances of not receiving a correct order, twice I was able to go back in and get the issue fixed but the other two times I was in a rush and so it was on me (to decide if I wanted to drive back). I also called once when I used the app and told them that they missed a burger and they said they would credit me one on the app... never happened. My last gripe and the one that has led me to leave a review was due to an error on my last order. I went through and ordered four different meals including a ten piece nuggets, etc. When I stopped at the window to pay, the teller asked if I had the order with the 10 piece nuggets in it etc, and I said yes and handed him my card. He ran the charge and handed back my card without a receipt. I don't usually care to keep one but it was the first time in a while I was not asked. I was not switched on so I did not ask for one. Get to the window and the server there asks again did I have the order with the 10 piece nuggets and I said yes. He hands me a single bag and says have a good night. I ask where my drinks and the happy meal are and he realizes it was the wrong order. He then asks me if I have my receipt... here we go!!! No I say. So they were nice enough to give me my order and tell me that that they would not charge me for the other stuff. I drove off with my food. Huzzahh!!! I get home and everything is there. Great!!!! I check my account today and I have two charges pending... one for the order I paid for... (the wrong one) just a 10 piece nuggets etc... and another charge that I have no idea what it is for but it is four times the first one. I had no receipt for either of the orders (the wrong one I paid for or the right one I got in the end). I now HAVE NO IDEA IF I PAID FOR TWO ORDERS OR IF THEY FIGURED OUT THE DIFFERENCE AND CHARGED ME FOR IT?!?!?!?!?! I am incredulous that they took it upon themselves to recharge my card. Frankly they told me not to worry about it so they should not have charged me at all. My advice... make sure you get your receipts from this place... you may have to go back and navigate a vertical screw. read more

If I ate here all the time, I would weigh just as much as the building. McDonalds seems to be the enemy of all health nuts, criticizing their so-called "white meat" chicken, large portions, and unhealthy salads. No matter where you end up going, you are bound to see that dreaded golden arch tempting you to abandon your diet plans and gorge on empty calories. However, there are some healthy options here... If you are a chicken lover, the Premium Grilled Chicken Ranch BLT Sandwich or the Classic Grilled Chicken Sandwich are super low in calories and are heartily filling without costing you any lost muscle. Do avoid the so-called "Crispy" chicken sandwiches though, those are deep-fried circular nightmares waiting to happen. On the other hand, chicken nuggets are relatively safe if you only eat six of them, ten might be stretching the limit. Want those classic French fries? I would pass, nothing but empty calories...but if you can't resist like me, go for a small. In classic McDonalds style, the fries are limpy and vary in salt coating but the flavor is there...complement it with ketchup if you must. So you like beef? Be wary, a lot of the hamburgers usually are high in calories and taste as flat as a tire. For simplicity, go for just a cheeseburger or hamburger to keep calorie count low and taste high. If you want something more advanced, the McDouble is an ok option and the Big Mac is acceptable . Both of these sandwich's do have good flavor if given the right amount of toppings. Want breakfast? Believe it or not, the Egg McMuffin is one of the healthiest fast food breakfast sandwich's out there with only 300 calories total, which is only about 100 calories more then a glass of OJ and a bowl of cereal in the morning. The Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit is also a good alternative if you enjoy that flavor combination, it'll cost you 120 calories more though. That's pretty much the basics of how to eat healthy at McDonalds, so what does this particular branch having go for it in terms of building style and service? Dreadfully, this McDonalds carries out the same "modern" style that has become popular in the last few years. It's the horrific return of the brown's and beiges topped with flat maroons and plain walls. In addition, while the inside has a good amount of seating, the chairs are harder then a rock and are thus uncomfortable to sit in. The booths aren't much better but they do at least have proper cushioning. Overall, it's the same uncomfortable "modern" atmosphere that I've grown to hate. However, if this is your style, you'll enjoy it greatly. Service here is a bit above the standard norm when it comes to McDonalds. Most of the employees are in High School or College but their attitude is positive and I've had very little mix-ups when it comes to ordering. As this is the closest McDonalds near me, I'm at least fortunate to have this one where I don't get the silent treatment from the workers. Alas, a McDonalds is a McDonalds. It can either make you morbidly obese if you so choose or it can be a nice place to stop by for a quick lunch that won't result in a second gym visit. However, this McDonalds still suffers from cleanliness issues, poor décor choice, and poor quality food even though it has good taste. For safe measures, plan what you want on the website before stopping by, it may save you a few calories and tears. read more

Very disappointed with tonight's visit. I had asked for a sausage egg and cheese biscuit and when I had received my meal it was a biscuit with an egg on it...so I go back and ask for my order to be remade. I'm waiting 15 mins in line and when I finally get up to the window my food is not ready. They told me to pull up and I was then waiting for another 15 mins. Refund was given. read more

ALWAYS check your bag before you leave the drive through! I don't know if the people running the drive through are idiots or just don't care, but they cannot seem to handle the alternating lanes. Good luck getting what you actually ordered. read more
