We have been here 3 days In a row! We are in town camping and after a full day at the lake, $1 cones are a come up after a hot day! Guess what- their's isn't broken!!!!!!!! We stopped in to McDonalds for a fast lunch. I am not a fan of fast food in general but my husband lives McDonald's little burgers. It may be a throw back to his younger years. But I have to say...this McD's won me over. Hubs had a small burger and fries and I had a fish sandwich and stole some of the fries ;p The food was hot and fries right out of the fryer. And they do have really good fries. The service was fast and the workers wore masks. That makes it a good place. I do recommend the McDonald's and would go back! read more

Ok, so I have a disappointing review of Show Low McDonalds. I ordered a few menu items including drinks. $39. plus change. When did micky dees become more expensive than some sit down restaurants? The fries were hot and yummy. A rarity for me. A ten piece chicken nugget ($7.69, like .76 for each nuggy) were barely warm and so tuff. Like they have been hanging out ALL day. Drove back to McDonald's. Requesting a refund for the remaining 9 nuggets. I was informed by the manager (@17 years old) that it's McDonald's policy to not give refunds, but a food replacement. I informed the, ahem, manager that I did not want a food replacement only my money, $7.69 refunded. The manager then said, "We don't refund because we get in trouble". Every so often I have the urge to poison myself with this expensive trash and almost every time there is some issue with it. Wrong order, mouthy workers, waiting forever in line... Always something. Well I just realized when I order a meal that comes with a drink, if and when I ask for a cup of water instead of a soda their system automatically upcharges me for a bottle of water. Even though I'm not receiving a bottled water and I'm only receiving a cup that already comes with the meal. I was reassured by 2 employees and 1 manager that "that's just how our system works here" at this McDonalds. Well you know what, NO. That's BullShit. I don't recommend this business to family and friends. Yeah my experience was pretty straight forward. Literally every single time I went here they got my order wrong. And I went several days in a row. It was usually either the wrong menu item or something was missing. They obviously aren't paying attention to what they are doing which raises concerns about what else they aren't doing (makes me wonder if it's clean). There is another McDonald's down the road in Pinetop which I ended up going to and not only did they get my order right but it tasted A LOT better. Something is up with the kitchen for sure. This place is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. We live here so we come here often. There's a young women in there kind of short, pretty face, but she has no idea what she's doing. They kept out debit card not too long ago. They always ruin our order. We just left and they didn't even put EGG IN OUR BREAKFAST SANDWICH. I don't know what's so hard about making a sandwich? Stopped at McDonalds today for a quick take home lunch. Haven't been to this McDonalds in a few years. Ordered three Big Macs and two large well done fries. Almost fell over worn it was over 30 dollars! And if course we had to pull ahead to wait for our food. Got home (10 minute drive) and the fries were cold, soggy like limp noodles. I stopped in here on vacation for a "quick" latte and it took over 20 minutes in the drive through to get to the pick up window. When I got to the window I'm thinking give me my drink and bye. Nope. The girl asked if it was hot or iced, then had to go make it. I know it's busy at 8am, but over 20 minutes for a latte is ridiculous. Not sure where her help was. Manager came to the window to do something then left. Really how hard is it to make a latte and have it ready? Flash forward to last Sunday... I got an early start down the Mountain, but decided to stop at the MacDonalds in Showlow for a hot cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich... I had to use the bathroom and wash my hands... it was my first time in this location since last fall... it had been completely remodeled, but where they used to have THREE clerks taking orders, now they only had one and the line was already three or four deep... so what the heck, I decided to try the touch button kiosks... that process took a couple of minutes... far slower than just ordering the meal with a real clerk and here again, you can only pay with a credit card.  Then you get a number for your table and go and wait...  and wait...wait...  some TWENTY THREE minutes later our meal showed up... I was not happy... so much for FAST FOOD eh?  During that waiting period, I noted that only one or two other customers used the automated kiosk.  Most in store customers lined up in front of the SINGLE clerk taking orders now... sometimes 5 and 6 deep...  if this is progress I don't need it...  I was pretty vocal with the poor clerk who got stuck delivering my "fast food".... with a pretty heavy comment for her manager and the store owner... it was not her fault of course, and she admitted she knew that automation might take her job... she also admitted that my complaint was but one of many that had been made about the changes...   I won't be eating there anymore either... but I do mean to post my experience on YELP and every other food service ratings site I can think of... read more

Our order was really easy - drinks and dipped cones. This McDonald's is almost as bad as the Power Ranch McDonald's here in Gilbert. How long did it take to fulfill our order? Over 20 minutes. First it took them awhile to do 3 large drinks. Then we sat and waited awhile and then they told us to pull forward. We waited and waited for the dipped cones. We saw 6 cars receive their orders and drive off before we got out dipped cones. They did say sorry, but no explanation or compensation for our inconvenience. I know most do but they were extremely nice at drive threw got my order right on first try the line with 4 cars went really fast they had all my drinks ready when I got to the window and in a few minutes more handed me my food well it was about as good as you could want it to be, until we got back to are hotel and everything was fine until my pancakes were missing the syrup!!!! Never really liked it here. The employees usually consist of people who hate their job with the rare exception of a nice person(usually an older lady). I get it...you hate your job but WHY not try to stay positive...at least to the customers! Went here 20 mins ago to order a late dinner with family. I got the Mushroom&Swiss and it didn't smell right yet alone the cheese was bad and the patty itself had raw spots and dried blood. So I head to McDonald's this morning to get food for my family on this holiday weekend. The lady that took my order was sweet and fast, however at the pick up window it was something else. After I received my food I noticed I was missing some food so I said to the gal as politely as I could,"excuse me, I'm missing a hash brown and a sandwich" which she then replies in a hurried tone, "doesn't look like you ordered one?" Soni told her "I paid for one though" in a hurried tone which she replied back in the rudest of tones " well you didn't order one but we will give it to you anyway" then proceeded to hand me 4 drinks without a carrier, the manager (or so I'm guessing) gave me a bag and rudely rushed me out with "okay thank you" I proceeded to apologize and he said rudely again "okay thank you" then hurriedly closed the window as I was talking ..that is the rudest service I have ever received at a McDonald's read more

My husband, daughter, and I came in tonight. We ordered our food, and sat down to eat it. A few moments later a friend of mine came in, ordered an ice cream cone and was sold one. After we got done eating our meal, I approached the counter to order ice cream for dessert. I was informed that the ice cream machine was broken. I ordered 3 pumpkin pies instead (they are really gross by the way), and just as we were finishing our pies - another group of customers came in (apparent friends of the manager) and ordered ice cream - and received it. I don't understand why we were denied ice cream, and when my husband approached the girl behind the counter to ask why, we were told they just tested the machine and discovered it worked. The service is great and I have never once had a problem with the food. The play place is fun for kids and keep them very entertained until mealtime! Other than the low quality of most mcdonalds coffee, this is a wonderful place to eat. No power outlets if you need to charge your laptop while using the WiFi though. read more
