This is probably my least favorite McDonald's that I frequent. I'm so tired of every corporation asking you to "round up your total for _________ program". Even if there isn't a line, you'll still wait 5-10 minutes for your order. Every time I come here, I have to park in a spot to wait for someone to bring my order. Customer service is friendly and I know they are just doing their job but the round up question is just annoying. Location is convenient as it's fairly close to the interstate. Was just in the McDonald's here just now, standing at the counter at about 130-135 pm ish saturday April 5th. Had come inside from the drive through because they had forgotten my nugget sauce. Stood at the counter looking at several employees and the manager of this location within 8 feet of me. Literally ignored me, saw them see me multiple times and straight up ignored me as I waited for 10 minutes. No one, especially not the manager very close to me, said be right with you or acknowledged me in any way. Actively ignoring me. It would've taken someone two seconds to ask what I needed and grab it for me. Very upset, you can always ask me to wait, say SOMETHING, don't pretend I'm not there after eye contact. McDonald's location that is right off the Brooks Kentucky exit right where Shepherdsville and Brooks merge wku each other. Being off the expressway this McDonald's gets lots of traffic and always seems to be crowded. Usually on large chains such as McDonald's I do not review the menu or taste as most are familiar by now. My kids love McDonald's and I'm not a huge fan. I like there breakfast options better then lunch and dinner options. I rate McDonald's on service and accuracy. This one is hit and miss on accuracy of order and they do not work there lines very quickly. Overall, you know what your getting into when you go to a McDonald's and this one is no different. It doesn't stick out above the rest but it serves its main purpose. read more

Went to get breakfast and got home and they forgot my sandwich. I went back and the manager gave me my money back and my sandwich.

I don't review fast food restaurants on their food because you can only expect it to be what it is fast food. That being said I will review them for their service and this location is always extremely slow. Like today. Unbeknownst to us, this McDonald's was under construction and the lobby wasn't open but the drive thru was. (We didn't use the restroom at the gas station next door because we assumed we could run into McDonald's, use the restroom and make our order... NBD, we just made another stop at the gas station after grabbing our grub). It's funny that despite going to McDonald's countless times over the course of my life, when it was time to order AND the menu board wasn't up yet... my brain went blank. WHAT DO I GET? WHAT DO I WANT? WHAT NUMBER IS THE MEAL MY HUSBAND GETS? WHAT FOUNTAIN DRINKS ARE AVAILABLE? Haha. Luckily, the lady on the other side of the speaker was super helpful and patient with me. Four screaming children in the back of van- what do they want more than anything, Mcdonalds, of course! I was prepared to leave a 1 star review since I sat at the speaker for over ten minutes before finally driving around. Everyone in the outside lane was being waited on and I didn't understand why. Overall, it was fast and efficient. The fries were smokin' hot out the drive-thru window. Usually I get a chicken Mcnuggets Mighty Kids Meal when I go to a McDonalds, but this time I opted for their latest artisan sandwich burger. It had applewood bacon, onion fries, other stuff that's tasty, like cheese, all over a big slab of beef and a toasted bun. It's good stuff, I've got to admit. Artery-clogging and so filling that with a side of fries I felt so stuffed that I felt kind of sick to my stomach, but in that good, super ooey-gooeyness of gluttonous glory type of way. I appreciated their efficiency, the workers were like friendly robots. But they didn't give me any salt or pepper when I asked for a pack of each and just one napkin. Have you seen that dang new-fangled applewood bacon signature artisan sandwich they have? It's delicious, but (actually like a lot of delicious things) is messy as can be. And when you're in someone else's car you don't really want to make a mess in it (unless they're jerks, but I wasn't in a jerks car, I was with my mom and she's pretty cool). So, really good for a McDonald's. Pretty good if you're just hungry and want something filling, real quick. Online it said they had a 24hr lobby. But when we entered they said the lobby was closed and kicked us out but it was only a little after 10pm.
