BEWARE! Today I made a rare stop in to pick up a small milk shake. Cost about $4.35. I had 3 1$ bills and a couple $20s. I handed the cashier a $20 and got back change for a $10. I questioned her and she said I gave her a $10. I had had No $10 bills in my wallet. The manager checked and agreed with her. I' m an honest person and would Never intentionally do this and ask for more change back than I should get back. Beware of their cashiers shortchanging you. Count your change carefully. The most expensive milk shake ever... at McDonalds! I will not be taking my business there ever again. Rip-off artists read more

Last two trips to Shelton McDonald's drive thru have not been good. We received Room temperature food which is not healthy. Breakfast sandwiches have been very disappointing. Could not eat it all and had to throw away some food. A waste of money. read more

The workers are efficient and friendly. They do nothing wrong. They deserve respect and praise. I don't know if it's management, franchise owner, or corporate but they have chosen to NOT CHANGE THEIR FRY OIL OR PROPERLY, OFTEN ENOUGH, OR CLEAN THEIR FRYERS. ALL potato items, ESPECIALLY hash browns and McNuggets have the worst bitter aftertaste, a tell tale sign of rancid oil. Go to a McDonalds in Olympia, and no problem. Also fast food companies need to stop using bagged pre cut lettuce. It is so easily contaminated and just tastes bad. Go back to hand shedded lettuce. Jimmy John's and Wendy's manages to do fresh lettuce just fine. Wendy's also manages to have decent fry oil. For the love of god please fix the bitter oil aftertaste and fresher lettuce. I can't spend 7 bucks on a Big Mac or McMuffin and hash brown I can't eat. read more

By far the worst Macky D's we have ever eaten at. We have traveled a lot & tried many restaurants from this chain over the years, but the Shelton Mc Donalds is horrible & the absolute worst. God forbid you alter your order even the slightest bit, they will mess it up & then have an attitude when you ask them to make it correctly. Employees are too worried about what hair color they are going to try this week instead of concentrating on the food they are making. These employees look worse than the Ronald McDonald clown. Management are incompetent & responsible for nothing. Sadly they have adopted the entitled generation as management & staff & the kind, old school approach to customer service is history. Never eating here again. Go to Wendy's folks, much better ingredients & healthier for you & no attitude. read more

Came to this McDonald's at 1000 on Veterans Day (11Nov25) and they told me they don't do the free breakfast meal on Veterans Day...

Ordered a chicken sandwich combo on the Mc Donald's app the app charged my debit card and when I went to pick it up I was told by 2 managers and the general manager that transaction didn't go through and I owed $7.57 I showed all 3 my debit card was charged and showed them the payment on they're app . The general mgr said to contact my.bank And there was an error on my banks system . . I explained to him the glitch was in there system not my bank . And I had to pay amount due . I replied dude WTF loook at your app it's paid for . Then rather than refund back to my card or make the order which had already been made because they called out my name for pick up. This general Manager needs to go back to training . He was a pathetic excuse of management read more

Order came out wrong, burger was cold and fries were stale. Expensive waste of time....

I ordered a cheeseburger, filet of fish and small fries to go at the counter. I haven't eaten at a McDonald's in quite some time. I was amused at how small the sandwiches were. Tartar sauce was smeared all over the outside of the bun of the filet of fish, otherwise the sandwich was fresh. The cheeseburger was stale and tough. The fries also seemed old. I will say that it was clear the staff was not geared to taking orders at the counter, the young man that waited on me was very pleasant and courteous. My order was accurately filled, quickly. The quality of presentation and freshness of the cheeseburger was below my expectation. read more

Whenever I come in it depends on what time of the day the food is actually fresh. Usually nights they tend to give out pretty fresh food but the daytime the fries especially are very old. The staff however is always very kind and never had any issues with them. read more

The food was good and hot. Chris was friendly and got us in and out. Bathrooms were clen.

Been here a couple times i love the vanella ice cream cone love them always drive by and get for the whole family

Very good food and service. I would recommend to anyone in a hurry. Regards to the starter or ignition of the God damn roller-coaster ride is a good thing to do a oceanic themed completion of paintings and the fourth is on a 18"x24 basis for the read more

keep giving the store chances but no more. Over the last few years I have had a bunch of orders wrong but by the time I get home it's not worth the drive back.... Ordered the family lunch today and of course it's wrong again... I ordered a Big Mac meal and added a few customizations... get home and the fries are cold and soggy (live less than 5 mins away) pull out the Big Mac box and there is completely a different sandwich in the box... (quarter pounder) it is coated with extra ketchup and Big Mac sauce, so much that it's not edible... I know the corporation does not care about my experience as people will still go but I will make sure when that restaurant is brought up to tell people about the awful experience. 98584 read more

The absolute worst McDonald's I have ever been to. When there computers crashes through the drive through, there were 16 cars lined up waiting for over 15 min and instead of having an employee come outside and take our orders or anything, they just told all of these people in the drive through that they had to come inside. They also didn't come outside and tell us people stuck in the drive through for almost 20 min that their computers were down or anything. Just disappointing read more

LOL I just ordered the four piece chicken tender from the McDonald's in Shelton and they served me 1/2 a chicken patty cut my 4 times in a big bag with a big box and 4 packages of barbecue sauce! LOL! read more

They can never get a order correct!! New building but guess what?! Same crappy service lol and the box and menu states all good is made fresh when you order uhhh no that is a lie! My husbands quarter pounder was old and disgusting!! They need new employees and someone who knows how to run a business lol it's fast food for goodness sakes read more

We were coming through the drive through at the Shelton Washington location pretty regularly. They are always nice and really never made mistakes on our orders. However, we went through about a week ago and nobody within our sight were wearing masks...There is a pandemic on and the suggested precautions have not been lifted. You are endangering people and in a situation where I know you cant maintain a 6 ft distance (tho' you should be wearing them regardless). No thanks man. We at least wont be back until this mess is over..if then. read more

I've been to my fair share of McDonald's in my life and this is the only one worth going to. Never gotten a wrong order, burgers are always fresh and fries are alway perfect! We make it a point to stop by here if we're hungry and passing through. I just want to emphasize how great the food is here compared to any other McDonald's I've ever been to. Second best burger in town following Ritz. read more

Fairly average McD's, though this one is usually a bit cleaner than some. My one complaint is that being a small town McD's, the staff often know the customers and spend lots of time chatting with them, which would be fine if there were other people waiting in line to order. Take all the time to chat you want after everyone has ordered but until then please stick to business when other customers are waiting. True to form if you go to this location during the morning hours you are pretty much guaranteed that there will be a contingent of older folks nursing their coffee while hashing out current events. read more

After they reopened, their food became disgusting! Fries were either barley salted or way too salty, and always cold. I used to get the chicken burger meal, but they changed the sauce to this disgusting vinegary one that I can't stand! Not even scraping it off saves the burger because its way too dry. That and they got rid of their Mariners home run free fry deal. That was a HUGE hit. Used to get 3-4 free fries in a row no purchase needed, and now you have to purchase something in order to get the "free" fry if you're ever given one on the app. Deleted it years ago because nothing was good anymore. The only thing I swear by is their mcchickens and caramel macchiatos. Im sure they'll figure out a way to mess that up too. read more

I have had some issues lately with this McDonalds. Fries are always cold and stale. Tonight, while in drive thru, it happened again. I politely asked for new ones and when I was going to say I would gladly pull forward and wait, the drive though employee yanked them out of my hands. Then came back and told me to pull forward. I gladly waited and when I finally got my fries, they threw them upside down in my bag. I walked inside and confronted the employee. She just smirked and walked away. The manager was no where to be found. I am appalled by this level of professionalism and customer service. I will be sure to contact Shari Nixon. I even took pics and wish I could upload them. read more

Ordered cheeseburger & fries. The fries were stiff, greasy & cold, and the absolutely stone-cold burger was 100% tasteless. Yuck!

Look, it's McDonald's... so if your expecting exquisite fare, forget it. Most McDonald's are the same and this one is as well. Although, they do seem to have pretty good, consistent service. If you must go to McDonald's this is better then most. read more

Food is what is expected, wait time is good depending on business, website could use work, but not the locations fault.

I don't eat fast food much but I was on my way home and it was very late so I stopped here ordered chicken nuggets and fries but they tasted like they were days old but everyone here is nice. read more

Friendliest service of any McD in California and Washington. Love this location and the staff. Manager is cool

This is absolutely the most friendly Mcdonald's I've ever been to. Everyone is super chipper and happy. I don't know how how their management team builds such a fabulous team, but they have a good thing going. The food is just your average run of the mill Mcdonald's. But doesn't food taste better when you get great service? read more

Egg McMuffin, hashbrown patty, coffee: breakfast for about five bucks served in under five minutes. This is why McDonald's is EVERYWHERE.

This review is based on other McDonalds, NOT other restaurants. Very clean, fantastic playland (bigger than I've seen elsewhere) and food was... Well McDonalds-ie. Clean, fast and cheap. Exactrly what you would want from a fast food joint. read more

I give this McDonald's 5 stars because it is faster, but more than that, they give to local charities. Fast food is fast food. This one however gives back to the community. read more

This was my best meal yet! It had such HIGH class food, very gourmet. The place practically sparkles because of how clean it is! Sure it might be a wait for the GOURMET food, but that's because it takes time to make with such fresh ingredients! Only the highest quality! This is why I give Mc Donald's 5 stars!! read more

The concept of a drive thru is to drive thru and get your food. It is not to drive thru, order your food, told to pull forward and wait for your food, wait and wait, and wait, and then have to get out of your car go inside to ask for your food, only to be told "we are still waiting on the eggs". Mind your it's been almost ten minutes now. The key here is to plan, supervise and manage. I left without my food. Not the best way to start a morning. read more

I would give it no stars but this hasn't been the first day been multiple I order basically the same stuff every time I go to McDonald's I order a couple mcchickens without lettuce the mf's put big mac sauce instead of mayonnaise and put a shit load of lettuce! Idk if you can't listen to a fkn order then idk why you're getting paid to do an easy ads job! read more

Seen a rat eating away while I was at the drive thru. Straight lost my appetite knowing chef ratatouille was cooking my food.

Great breakfast sandwiches. The bacon egg cheese mcgriddle is the best. Fast, friendly service is appreciated. I never drive thru because the inside is always clean and enjoyable for eating. read more
