BEWARE! Today I made a rare stop in to pick up a small milk shake. Cost about $4.35. I had 3 1$ bills and a couple $20s. I handed the cashier a $20 and got back change for a $10. I questioned her and she said I gave her a $10. I had had No $10 bills in my wallet. The manager checked and agreed with her. I' m an honest person and would Never intentionally do this and ask for more change back than I should get back. Beware of their cashiers shortchanging you. Count your change carefully. The workers are efficient and friendly. They do nothing wrong. They deserve respect and praise. I don't know if it's management, franchise owner, or corporate but they have chosen to NOT CHANGE THEIR FRY OIL OR PROPERLY, OFTEN ENOUGH, OR CLEAN THEIR FRYERS. ALL potato items, ESPECIALLY hash browns and McNuggets have the worst bitter aftertaste, a tell tale sign of rancid oil. Go to a McDonalds in Olympia, and no problem. Also fast food companies need to stop using bagged pre cut lettuce. It is so easily contaminated and just tastes bad. Go back to hand shedded lettuce. Jimmy John's and Wendy's manages to do fresh lettuce just fine. Wendy's also manages to have decent fry oil. For the love of god please fix the bitter oil aftertaste and fresher lettuce. Ordered a chicken sandwich combo on the Mc Donald's app the app charged my debit card and when I went to pick it up I was told by 2 managers and the general manager that transaction didn't go through and I owed $7.57 I showed all 3 my debit card was charged and showed them the payment on they're app . The general mgr said to contact my.bank And there was an error on my banks system . . I explained to him the glitch was in there system not my bank . And I had to pay amount due . I replied dude WTF loook at your app it's paid for . Then rather than refund back to my card or make the order which had already been made because they called out my name for pick up. I ordered a cheeseburger, filet of fish and small fries to go at the counter. I haven't eaten at a McDonald's in quite some time. I was amused at how small the sandwiches were. Tartar sauce was smeared all over the outside of the bun of the filet of fish, otherwise the sandwich was fresh. The cheeseburger was stale and tough. The fries also seemed old. I will say that it was clear the staff was not geared to taking orders at the counter, the young man that waited on me was very pleasant and courteous. My order was accurately filled, quickly. Whenever I come in it depends on what time of the day the food is actually fresh. Usually nights they tend to give out pretty fresh food but the daytime the fries especially are very old. The staff however is always very kind and never had any issues with them. read more

The absolute worst McDonald's I have ever been to. When there computers crashes through the drive through, there were 16 cars lined up waiting for over 15 min and instead of having an employee come outside and take our orders or anything, they just told all of these people in the drive through that they had to come inside. They also didn't come outside and tell us people stuck in the drive through for almost 20 min that their computers were down or anything. Just disappointing read more

We were coming through the drive through at the Shelton Washington location pretty regularly. They are always nice and really never made mistakes on our orders. However, we went through about a week ago and nobody within our sight were wearing masks...There is a pandemic on and the suggested precautions have not been lifted. After they reopened, their food became disgusting! Fries were either barley salted or way too salty, and always cold. I used to get the chicken burger meal, but they changed the sauce to this disgusting vinegary one that I can't stand! Not even scraping it off saves the burger because its way too dry. That and they got rid of their Mariners home run free fry deal. That was a HUGE hit. Used to get 3-4 free fries in a row no purchase needed, and now you have to purchase something in order to get the "free" fry if you're ever given one on the app. Deleted it years ago because nothing was good anymore. Fairly average McD's, though this one is usually a bit cleaner than some. My one complaint is that being a small town McD's, the staff often know the customers and spend lots of time chatting with them, which would be fine if there were other people waiting in line to order. Take all the time to chat you want after everyone has ordered but until then please stick to business when other customers are waiting. True to form if you go to this location during the morning hours you are pretty much guaranteed that there will be a contingent of older folks nursing their coffee while hashing out current events. read more

I have had some issues lately with this McDonalds. Fries are always cold and stale. Tonight, while in drive thru, it happened again. I politely asked for new ones and when I was going to say I would gladly pull forward and wait, the drive though employee yanked them out of my hands. Then came back and told me to pull forward. I gladly waited and when I finally got my fries, they threw them upside down in my bag. I walked inside and confronted the employee. She just smirked and walked away. The concept of a drive thru is to drive thru and get your food. It is not to drive thru, order your food, told to pull forward and wait for your food, wait and wait, and wait, and then have to get out of your car go inside to ask for your food, only to be told "we are still waiting on the eggs".
