Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Not just once, but every time I come here. Filthy tables, filthy ordering kiosks, rude staff that ignores customers at the counter. This morning we ordered at the kiosk and took the table number. The screen informed is to have a seat and out food would be brought to us. Instead, the manager shouted out table number and slammed the tray on the front counter and walked away. It took some time to get another associates attention to get my drink cup. They also gave us apple slices from the happy meals for our oatmeal, but I couldn't get anyone's attention again to rectify the problem. I don't understand why this location is so terrible. The owner, after looking it up online, owns 9 locations. Both Burlington stores, oak harbor, and mount Vernon have always been clean and prompt to serve. We walk in to a big screen where you can place your order. We chose to stand at the register. After being ignored we went back to the screen. We could not find things from the menu so we went back to standing at the register. Guy taking my order provided such an unenthusiastic experience. Like a robot. No smiles. No thank you. Food comes and the espresso was just coffee with extra milk. Terrible. We also ordered drip coffee and the ask.how.many creamers and sugar we want. Not even available for the consumer to take. I went back up the the "Ignore Me" counter. Employees talking and once again ignored. When they notice me I say "Can I have 4 sugars please?" And he says "In which order?" So I say "I have my coffee. The first time they forgot to include my larger fries (with the combo) and a straw, I was like, "I get it, people make mistakes." I felt like the second time was intentional when I reordered large fries and 40 pieces of chicken nuggets... In return, they forgot to include the other 20 chicken nuggets. This place is an absolute dissapointment this is the second time that I have come here after 6 pm and there ice cream machine is. Apperantly broken I have been told by employees working that this is a common occurance because they dont want to clean it later on. What can you say about McDonald. For a small town - all the employees were friendly and polite and best of all Helpful. They had a sense of humor and acted glad to see us. We also were going up the road to see the eagles and decided to stop at the last bit of civilization before we journeyed up the Skagit. I very rarely ever go to McDonald's anymore, for the simple fact that fast food isn't great anymore, and its expensive. On the very rare occasion I do go, I've found the service at this particular store to be piss-poor. They get two stars on merit due to the number of "new guys" that always seem to be employed there, as I've never seen the same person twice, but also because at least they are clean. But, I digress. The last FOUR times I have stopped at THIS McDonald's, they have managed to screw up the order in part or in entirety. On Sunday, I asked for coffee, was offered cream & sugar, to which I said yes. Get down the road, go to have coffee...no cream or sugar. Last time, they gave my wife burritos which were seemingly loaded with extra sauce when it was supposed to have been dry. Time before that, completely left out multiple items ordered. I realize that they are people too, but if you can't get simple orders right, let alone consistently accurate and correct...you should put yourself out of business. I guess after four times, I should stop going there, and I will. They've had their chances...no more. Bottom line, the Sedro-Woolley McDonald's on SR-20 sucks...no, it blows. Stopped by here for breakfast and what a let down. Spent all this money for a nice facelift and can't figure out how to make a good coffee or cocoa! The hot cocoa tasted like hot water. Ordered a large caramel macchiato, cup was a little over half full and just a hint of caramel. I realize the employees aren't baristas but if your going to offer more than just drop coffee maybe some training on how to make one would be in order. Fast food isn't fast food when you wait in the drive thru line for 10 min. Employee's don't fold the bags anymore to keep the hot food hot. This happens in both drive thru and inside. Here is my story: i tried to order Uber Eats today around 830pm. Finally at 950ish my husband called and asked if Uber food was just sitting around. No it wasn't they didn't receive an order they said. Then they actually looked and did all of a sudden remember they did have our precise order but an Uber Driver all ready picked it up they said. Which the Uber App said it was still looking for a driver!! Well we gave it 15 minutes and then we're like forget this (no Uber driver showed up by the way) went to McDonald's ourselves which really isn't a big deal, we just wanted to relax and be lazy. So got to McDonald's around 1015ish. Actually the young man in the back was very helpful and obviously worked hard. But when we got up to the window one girl was talking to another and was like "did you put everything in here?" And she said yes well we had a feeling so pulled off and decided to look and part of our order was missing. Chicken Nuggets and a cheeseburger and a McChicken. Literally like half the order. Then I went inside to ask for the rest of the stuff and I was waiting 15 min when I finally asked if they put my stuff in. She was really rude and kept shaking her head at me like I couldn't possibly understand what fast food work is like, rolling her eyes and the little head jaunt and terse words are enough for me....I do. I really really do what it's like to work in customer service but I've never treated a customer so scornfully. They finally gave me a new bag and I left kinda steaming and wanting to get out of there and it's WRONG AGAIN! Also everything was cold (well obviously I was waiting a long time for the rest of my order) the fries looked like they should have been tossed rather than served. You know when you get those limp brown McDonald's fries instead of the delicious golden salted fries it's super disappointing. My round trip to McDonald's was about 40 min. I live about 5 min away. Last two times I was there my order has also been completely wrong. I ordered the pancake breakfast and they didn't give me butter or syrup and forgot my sausage patty. They also forgot my husbands hash browns and sandwich that time as well. I ordered a different time sausage McMuffins and got the gross ham ones and yes I checked the receipt and they said sausage on there. I would rather pay way more money any other fast food place even if I had to drive out of town. I am tired of being treated poorly every time they make a mistake which is every time I've been there over the past month. Ever since they got those computer things inside the it has just been crazy and people are just taking off! Today, I stopped in for an Ultimate Chicken sandwich I was informed that they had no crispy chicken for it, nor did they have any grilled chicken. This is the third time this had happened. I worked in food service for over twenty years and in my experience, you prep what you need and learned a valuable phrase..."It's better to have it when you need than need it and not have it." Not having any product properly prepped is completely unacceptable. When I mentioned that it was the third time, I was rudely told that there was nothing she could do about it. I have stopped at this McDonald's location multiple times in the past because it's close to my house. I like that they have kiosks where you can customize your order and 9 times out of 10, my order was correct. The service is pretty good last night, staff was nice and I got my food about 5 minutes after I ordered. But it hasn't always been that good, sometimes it has been chaotic and I have waited longer to get my order, granted the restaurant was packed and the staff are trying to get everyone's order made as quickly as possible. The food is descent, it's not great, it's not terrible, it's just descent. Some of the items they have are a bit overpriced in my opinion and they don't taste like it's worth paying the full price. The burgers taste salty and the chicken doesn't have much flavor. On the other hand, they do have items that are more budget friendly. The quality is about the same as the more expensive items, so if you're hungry, you have a tight budget and quality isn't too much of a concern, this would be an option. read more

Went in this morning for breakfast. I wanted to try their new Cold Brew Coffee and I saw that it was on the menu. Placed my order and waited. A woman, who worked there, said that they are not yet making/offering the Cold Brew beverages - they don't have the equipment. I pointed at the BIG sign in their restaurant. "Oh, yeah. We don't have any control of that - it's corporate." What??? I call B.S. Why offer something if you don't have it? That doesn't make any sense. As I waited for my order, an older gentleman walked past me and said, "You'll be waiting for your order until lunch time. Three other people walked out, already." I have to say - every since you put in those kiosks, service has been sub-par. Incredibly slow. Sorry, McDonald's. I'm done with you. Burger King now has my business. read more
