I come to this place all the time, as its 1. close to my workplace 2.close to where I live and 3. the McDonald's I've always come to. I think we can all agree McDonald's is going to be McDonald's, but I found this place at least for the majority of time to have great service. There has been a few times I've ordered for curbside and waited more then 15 minutes, whereas if I ordered inside, it would be out in under 5 minutes. The food at least for me has always been good, the food is hot or warm, nothing cold, and when I add extra pickles/onions, they always deliver, same for when I ask for big mac sauce on my burgers. The Ambiance is going to be your typical McDonald, you have kiosk, folks eating, maybe your occasional homeless person here and there but all in all, I find it safe, routine, and just a McDonalds I can rely on. read more

Ordered a breakfast assortment for 6 people via the phone app. Took a longer time than told while waiting at the designated parking spot, so I went in to check if we had been forgotten (as our app timed out because it was taking so long). The staff was apologetic and mentioned it was because the McGriddle was slow (that day?). The staff gave us our bags but totally forgot two Egg McMuffins in our order, which we didn't figure out until we were at the gathering. Very disappointing. Wrote an email to the office that manages that store to explain what had happened and give them an opportunity to make my customer satisfaction back to a high level. Their franchisee office is apparently located inside the Fairmount Hotel (fancy!). It took them 2 weeks to write back which is far too long for such an issue where the store takes our money and does not give us the right order. They eventually tell me they're going to refund the missing money. That's it? In the old days at this location, they'd value a customer and hold highest their ability to get an order right in exchange for our hard earned cash. I usually expect McDonalds to send a manager complimentary card or two (free meal or burger) to make up for the mistake on their part. (As they did when I had a similar drive thru issue about 10 years ago. At first, via email, they only committed to giving me the simple cash back. But I complained and explained they should be valuing my business a lot more for the inconvenience they caused. In return, they included two free coffees which expired in two weeks. Pretty indicative of how little they value repeat customers. They'd rather spring for expensive office space at the Fairmount and screw the customers over rather than locate someplace cheaper and make sure our repeat business is appreciated. I was blown away with the staff here. WOW!! Everyone were upbeat especially after 2AM. I am fortunate to have had this experience at this Mcdonald's drive-thru location and so touch and humbled. This is probably one of the best service I have experience from any McDonalds in a very long time. My orders were never perfect, but what meant more to me was the fact that they were genuinely apologetic and very polite in how they say it. FYI - this location gets extremely busy especially after clubbing hours (Friday & Saturday @ 2AM on). The lines will go out as far as half a block away from their parking lot. So just be patient and know that it is first come first serve and they do try very hard to get you in and out as quickly as they can. During the weekday after 11PM - there is a line as well and continues on from what I was told until about 1AM. read more

Bacon, Egg and Cheese McGriddles Meal is absolutely delicious. I've been eating Egg and Sausage McMuffins all this time and today, I finally dig in to trying a new menu item. This is how much I enjoy the McGriddle Breakfast Sandwiches. It is so good, I'm craving for another one while writing this update. This McDonald's location isn't as crowded as some of the locations I've been to before. Plenty of seats available when I come in, efficient services, clean restaurant and friendly staff. A parking lot is available for patrons - a plus for the availability of this amenity. 2/13/2014: I have been eating the Bacon, Egg and Cheese McGriddle since I tried this item. Today, I made the switch to trying the Sausage, Egg and Cheese McGriddle and it is one of the perfect meal combos for a quick breakfast. 5/28/2014: Medium Iced Coffee and Hash Browns - it's delicious and I love it. I've been ordering orange juice with my breakfast and today, I dig into ordering an iced coffee (French Vanilla). 1/16/2015: The Strawberry & Creme flavored pie is delicious - I enjoyed it. Since we order the girl that help me sound it like she didn't want to be there. I order a pink lemonade and she gave us a mango smoothie. I ask for spicy nuggets and they gave us regular nuggets. Barely passes for a restaurant. This location doesn't allow you to use its bathroom, dine-in, or patio area. They don't even have trashcans on-site, inside or outside the building. There's a reason why there's tons of trash being strewn everywhere near the area. read more

Coming here in the mornings is such a pain in the butt I use the mobile app and when you go through the drive-thru it doesn't give you the option to pay $0.25 for a bag and the owner who is there is this little old woman always makes a big deal out of it. I Ask the lady at the drive-thru for a bag I gave her a quarter when she went to get the bag the owner asked he didn't pay for it and she goes yes he did he just gave me a quarter and then I started to complain to both of them how cheap the owner was. Bathroom clean and open without a coin or getting buzzed in. I hate when I've got to pee only to have to wait 5 minutes to get some code or coin. Parking lot had three spots open but I parked my big SUV on the street for ease. Spots are small. Its not the best neighborhood so I sit with my back against the wall. Im here for a coffee and a crispy chicken snack wrap. Coffee ok, noticeably around for a while. Chicken snack wrap perfect except the chicken, again I could tell had been around a while. I usually go out of my way to avoid this location as there seems to be a terminal illness with their ice cream machine. But after a long day of work, we took a visit to the drive through for some last minute food. The person taking our order asked if we used the app, and when we said we didn't, they left the speaker and didn't follow up with us. After about 5 minutes a different associate took our order, a plot twist ensued: they were out of any ice cream or pie products. When we rolled up to the next window to pay, the cashier had absolutely no idea what our order was and we had to re-order again. At the second window, the gentleman handing us our food got the orders mixed up which caused more confusion. I get that some franchises choose not to clean their ice cream machines and such, but there shouldn't be so much hand holding when it comes to taking an order. read more
