Most Fast Food Mobile Apps are loaded with great deals you won't find anywhere else, and McDonalds is no exception! Though it is exceptional! Recently there was a deal for a free Big Mac with a $1 purchase...so I jumped on that fast! I ordered myself a medium french fries for $3.69, which we all know are probably the best fast food fries in the world. The Big Mac, normally $5.99, was therefore free! Went through the drive through and sat in my car to eat my food because i was on the phone and did not want to be rude sitting in the restaurant talking on the phone. I finished my food and just wanted to fill my cup up again, walked inside for someone from management to tell me off about getting a refill. "Refills are for dine in ONLY" never in my life has that ever been a rule. I used to work at McDonald's and carl's jr and we never had problems with guests coming in for a refill. I will on occasion go here for breakfast (via drive thru) and the past couple times I noticed, they are not filling the coffee up to the line as they should. Service is usually hit or miss. It's either horrible or fantastic. I guess, it depends on who you get. In my most recent order, I got the sausage burrito and they forgot the salsa packet... who wants to eat that now? The salsa is what effin makes that burrito and without it, it's just a dry ass burrito, IMO. ‍. The workers need to get it right otherwise, what's the point in paying them $20/hr. read more

I live in Tierrasanta and have 2 young boys, so I've been to this McDonald's dozen of times. This is review is a combination of all my experiences with this place. This is seriously The Worst McDonald's. I am not exaggerating. You'd think that McDonald's corporate would get involved at some point because I frankly hate all McDonald's restaurants because of the this restaurant. Here is what to expect if you are at the Tierrasanta McDonald's: 1) terrible service; 2) pulling over to wait for the Drive-thru to prepare order; 3) wrong order items; 4) cold french fries; 5) poorly carbonated sodas. What not to expect: 1) warm food; 2) short waits; or 3) ice cream... Seriously, go to the Jack and the Box down the block instead (I know the kids will balk), but NOTHING can be worse than the Tierrasanta McDonald's. I went to order the Minecraft meal, a McCrispy chicken sandwich and a mocha frappe. I used my points for the frappe, and in the middle of ordering the manager cut off the employee taking our order and said they didn't have frappes available and that they didn't sell the toy separately, in the middle of me trying to order the meal, and not just the toy. When I pulled up to the window I asked the other worker if they are typically interrupted like that while taking someone's order, and she agreed that it does happen. I could see the manager standing in the back talking to the employee through their headsets. The chicken sandwich's meat had a strange texture and the crust was dry and burnt, and the fries were stale. The employee who was originally taking our order was nice though. read more

Love this place. It's my home away from home. Love the warm-ups for the coffee in the dining room. Kyle is awesome as an ambassador. Really enjoy his personality so much better than the kiosk. Please do away with the kiosks and bring back more people like Kyle on the front lines. Thank you McDonalds for all you do for Rady's with the round up the total on purchases. Mickey D's! Made me a pretty good Egg White Delight with Canadian Bacon McMuffin and a straight black coffee. One thing I do not understand about the Egg White Delight is why do they not serve it on a whole wheat English Muffin? I mean, it's suppose to be a healthy choice, why not go for it! They can even use a low fat cheese. Anyways, it was pretty good breakfast sandwich but they definitely leave the seasoning to you and that's where a black pepper package came into view. The coffee was not bad. For some reason, it was not as strong as other Mickey D's coffees I have experience but it went down easy. Service was prompt and friendly. read more

Isabel this morning at 10:35 was very rude to me this going through the drive through, I asked for a side of tartar sauce and she directly said NO to me and continue to say what sauces they had. I told her I have gotten tartar sauce before as a side for my dipping and she said it would be a dollar for the side. I have never paid a dollar yet alone most of the time paid for my tartar sauce and when I have I had paid 75 cents for it. She then said okay let me check and then had me pay 75 cents. would give 0 stars if it was an option- lived in the neighborhood for about four years now and it only gets worse. for people who make more per hour than most professions... this place has the rudest employees, dirtiest dining areas and barely edible food. we only came here today because it was the "quickest" option- 1. they have a kiosk that allows a "dine in" option where it tells you to pick a table tent with a number and food would be brought out, we ordered our meal with ice creams. they never brought it to us or called it out so when we went to see where our food was both of our ice creams were already melted. so i asked for them to remake it since they never even called our order out to be met with attitude 2. after sitting down i look at my sauces, all three are partly opened with dried rock hard chunks of ranch are stuck to it. asked for more, showed her the chunks and not even an apology. just looked at me like i insulted her for asking for more ranch. 3. the whispers to coworkers after they thought i walked away- when i was just grabbing a drink. which the machines both aren't working btw. 4. there are flies everywhere, there were only two other families in here when we got here but none of the open tables were usable since they were covered in sticky substances and food, and i don't even wanna talk about the bathroom conditions. read more

I've lived in the area for 50+ years and now I know why I never come to this McDs. My wife had a medical procedure (no food after Midnight) so on the way home she was hungry so we stopped here. The service was very slow (drive thru) and when we asked for a shake - "we don't have shakes". Say what? No apology, just a repeat "we don't have shakes". The best thing to point out is that the place is clean from what I've seen, and if your order is wrong, they'll fix it. Now the bad... Most of the time, you'll end you'll end up waiting at a register for someone to acknowledge that they see you and will be with you after completing what ever order they're working on. It doesn't matter if it's a supervisor or a regular worker. Some will look up at you and go right back to what they're doing without saying a word. I've also had orders incorrect a few times, and other times things were basically tossed in the bag. Recently, half the fries of my order was in the bottom of the bag instead of in the container. Sauce that I asked for was also missing. While these are minor, they still fall under good customer service. If it's that tough for employees to do good customer service every time, maybe it's time to fix the training or replace the employees. I went to get some fries and a McFlurry at 7:30pm on 9/06/2024 and the man doing the window food who says his name is Grayson (which I believe was lying because he was stuttering) was very rude and not attending to me at the window when I came back with an order because it was wrong. I was not rude and I was very understanding. He left me at the window for 20 min without even asking what I'm there for. I had to say excuse me I came to exchange this and he begins to get annoyed and ask do you have a receipt I say no cause he didn't give me one or ask if I wanted one and he goes and digs out the receipt and tells me the don't have anymore m&ms and that's why they gave me Oreo. Some people are allergic to things you can't just give them what you want because you ran out. Every time I go which is mostly at night he's working the window and is always so miserable and rude just to have me wait 20 min for 2 large cold soggy fries. McDonald's in general...why stop the all day breakfast?! For this McDonald's, after you notify a customer you stopped serving breakfast how about you empathize and then make some suggestions.
