I love ordering fresh fries , apparently the only time I can get fresh fries is when the lady manager is at work. Almost 2 weeks ago I order a basket of fries which is 5 dollars, I told the young lady 2 times please sweetheart make sure I get the fries when they come out of the basket please, she told me she would. Well folks when I got my fries they were cold and soggy, I took a pic of them when I was still there at the counter. Just poured them in the bag and left, I don't mine waiting an extra 15 minutes for fresh fries . I didn't want to ruin any anyone's day so I left, went to golden chick and ordered a large order of fries there, I got home and gave the mc donalds fries to the strays. If the lady manager is not there I will not order anything and just leave next time. read more

Our halfway point between Brownsville and San Antonio. I wanted to barf. There are flies everywhere. Every. Where. The employees can be seen waving them around. More than half of the fountain drinks didn't work. One coke dispenser didn't work. The other coke dispenser only had water. Fries were cold. Well. It's better than the Popeyes next door. read more

We stopped there because my brother wanted coffee and I wanted to make sure first that the lobby was opened so I opened the door and it sure was, there was another customer going in and when we were inside there was a worker there sitting down and she came to us saying that the lobby wasn't open and I told her that it was fine and we just wanted coffee and use the restroom and she said "still our lobby is closed". What I noticed was that there was another person sitting with the worker so I guess it was family or someone she knew so if the lobby is closed then no one should be there just workers. read more

This is one the most disgusting Mcdonald's I've ever visited. The bathroom trash bin was overflowing with used tp. The tp dispenser was empty and instead, the tp was just thrown on the floor (good luck if you need any!). The bathroom counters and mirror were splashed and had grime stuck to them. The dining floor and tables were greasy. Everywhere you looked, from the ice cream machine to the tv monitor, there were smudges. I doubt this restaurant has seen a clean up or a wipe down in months! Which begs the question, how hygienic can the kitchen be when everything else is overwhelmingly dirty? read more

Went to the drive thru and they said "I'll be right with you." While seating and waiting 2 cars went to the other lane in the drive thru and they took their orders, not mine. So of course I left. Not impressed on how they handled that. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I arrived at the drive thru around 9:20pm and left at around 9:55pm with at the most 5 cars in front of me. I was at the intercom with no greeting; after 3 hellos I'm told to wait. I never heard from them after that. I must have heard nearly three entire songs waiting. Me and the car beside me were both at the intercom waiting till there was only 2 cars at the very front window! My wife called the store and spoke to a lady who then took our order. I was absolutely surprised at her doing that because she is a very calm lady. As soon as I drove forward the truck beside me drove forward as well without placing his order. The lobby is closed due to COVID-19. I don't understand what is keeping the employees or manager from providing exceptional service. I tell the manager if he has both lines open on the grill and he says no. I see employees coming to the window when I was in line to see who is saying hello at the intercom, which was me. I felt like I was being purposely ignored. It was ridiculous. Something needs to be done because this is the number one reason I despise going to McDonald's in Robstown. I'm related to one of the employees and he does not understand how the manager who was working that shift is still employed, because of the slow customer service. When he expressed his concern I backed up the manager because I know him from past experience, but after this particular experience I explained to my wife the conversation I had with the relative. I'm trying not to give his name and hoping I have a change of heart not to call Corporate or Dale to explain my frustration. To top it off I arrive home with no cheese on my Hot N Spicy's. The receipt was not given to me which I regret not making sure it was to provide exact information relating to the encounter. Leadership begins at the very top if the problem is not with the manger conducting service then revision needs to be looked at his superiors calling shots. read more

Only wish they spent money on service training instead of the store overhaul. There are few food options around, so it seems that they don't feel obligated to double check orders. McDonald's needs to quit the time based sale of food. Breakfast only, or lunch menu only? I'll be visiting Whataburger next door for my meals. read more

The counters are dirty everywhere, the tables are dirty, there flies everywhere while I was ordering, employees throw attitude, and don't even get the meals properly like the menu. The employee didn't even try to make the special order when I asked for my meal in a certain way. read more

Over cooked hashbrowns in old oil. No receipts. Only one in line and it still took 30 minutes.

This McDonalds has upped their standards and I appreciate how they still took my order even though their computers were down. Story time: So was STARVING by the time I got out of a meeting I had in Austin and I was driving back down to the area late at night. I was so hungry didn't care what I ate, I just needed food. The only place I see is McDonalds I pull up AND THEIR COMPUTERS ARE DOWN. I leave and go to a different McDonald's down the road and THEIR COMPUTERS WERE DOWN TOO (other McDonalds basically told me to leave). I'm like okay, god doesn't want me to eat TN. It's a sign I shouldn't be eating at 1am. But I still had so far to drive so I'm like okay third time is the charm. I stopped at this McDonalds and the cashier told me that the computers are down BUT they can still accept cash. Scrambling through my purse I barely get enough change together for a Big Mac. I kidd you not, It was the best Big Mac I've ever had and the employees put a toy in my bag!! It was such a nice gesture for the "inconvenience". This McDonalds has definitely earned my business. 10/10 read more
