We have been coming to this restaurant for years and have never experienced anything like we did…read moreduring our most recent visit. There was a new waitress working, a lady with blonde highlights, and from the moment she approached our table, her attitude toward us was hostile and disrespectful. We also noticed that she was friendly and welcoming with every other table except for ours. At first, we tried to ignore it and give her the benefit of the doubt, but things only became worse after our daughter arrived. The way we were treated felt targeted, inappropriate, and honestly racist. Her tone, body language, and overall behavior toward our family were unacceptable and made us feel completely unwelcome. The experience became so uncomfortable and insulting that we decided to cancel our food order and leave before even finishing our drinks. Sadly, this no longer feels like a pleasant restaurant for the Black community, and that realization is deeply upsetting given how long we have supported this establishment. It was extremely disappointing to be treated this way at a place we have supported for years. No customer should ever leave feeling humiliated or disrespected.

To begin with the gentlemen outside taking orders didn't seem very enthusiastic about his work,…read moreseemed a bit annoyed matter of fact. but that doesn't stop me from trying the place out. i got the "Tacos El Guapo" order that came with charro beans. but i asked for the order with Flour tortillas. after waiting about 20 minutes for my tacos I received my order, of tacos that I didn't ask for ? i got the order of tacos but on corn tortillas. now don't get me wrong they looked great and so did the frijoles. But if I'm paying close to $20 for one order of tacos and beans with a drink I'm expecting to at least get what i asked for. No worries, i bring the plate up to the window and politely state that I didn't receive what I asked for. I was met with poor attitude and sighing as if I should just be grateful? so I took my loss and walked away in clear disappointment and ate the tacos. Now don't get me wrong. the tacos were good. But service makes everything. and just offering me a bag a chips I would've asked for if I wanted them in the first place doesn't change the fact you met my expectation with disappointment and disrespect in the beginning.
