There was a new waitress working, a lady with blonde highlights, and from the moment she approached our table, her attitude toward us was hostile and disrespectful. We also noticed that she was friendly and welcoming with every other table except for ours. At first, we tried to ignore it and give her the benefit of the doubt, but things only became worse after our daughter arrived. The way we were treated felt targeted, inappropriate, and honestly racist. Her tone, body language, and overall behavior toward our family were unacceptable and made us feel completely unwelcome. The experience became so uncomfortable and insulting that we decided to cancel our food order and leave before even finishing our drinks. Sadly, this no longer feels like a pleasant restaurant for the Black community, and that realization is deeply upsetting given how long we have supported this establishment. It was extremely disappointing to be treated this way at a place we have supported for years. No customer should ever leave feeling humiliated or disrespected.
