The problem comes in the form of spotty service from the staff. Most members of the staff are really kind and helpful, providing top notch service, however just like the saying goes, bad apples truly ruin the bunch. On our last visit, our server Ana seemed like she had no care in the world for any of her customers, acting in a very rude manner for the entirety of the dining experience. Most of the time she just flat out ignored us leaving us sitting around wondering when we would be helped. TL;DR If you're willing to overlook the relatively spotty service that seriously needs to be addressed by management in the form of proper hiring and training practices, the food here is quite tasty!

A sign with those three little letters we all love so much - BBQ. Unfortunately time was not on my side but alas, I got finished in time earlier than expected and headed straight here for lunch. This little place has a big character and I'll be sure to pop in whenever I'm in the area.

This was the most disgusting food I've ever had in my entire life. The fried chicken on my sandwich…read morelooked like a foreign blob because the fried part was dripping in grease and fell off of the chicken when I picked it up. I don't generally write yelp reviews but had to come on here and warn everyone to stay away from this restaurant. I ate half of my sandwich and threw it up when I arrived home. My mother also got very ill from her wrap which consisted of 99% of a strange cheese and 1% lettuce and peppers. The fries were freezing cold (which doesn't really bother me but I just wanted to add that in here in case it would bother you.) The Mac and cheese was also disgusting and inedible. I planned to throw it away but gave it to a homeless man instead. He said it was horrible and he hadn't eaten in three days so that really says something.

The waitress who took us to our table was friendly and chatty and our waiter (Jaime) was great. I had fish and chips and it was a massive portion! It was pretty expensive (£12) but I got a 20% discount with my cinema ticket. Not bad considering the meal was good. To drink I had Pepsi which was good but a little bit watery from all the ice in the glass. The only real negative about the experience was that our table was next to the toilets and it was not busy so we could have been seated elsewhere. While Filling Station is pretty pricey, the cinema discount is good and if you take part in their survey you get a £10 discount!

Apparently eating out of a paper bag is the way forward.. it was just missing a bottle of buckfast for that true Ned experience. Even a tray would have been a slight improvement. Food was incredibly over priced for what it was. £30 for a hotdog, chips , hamburger and a drink. The chips were passable, the hotdogs was about the same taste quality as a Street vendor (which would have been preferable), the burger was barely cohesive, kept crumbling and appeared to be rare/ medium rare.. ok if you order it like that at a PROPER restaurant, but not in a general burger and fries shop. Honestly, we've eaten better quality at Mcdonalds and Burger King. I would have complained but there was a distinctive lack of staff to complain to. Decor was bland, just full of self congratulatory posters which were completely undeserved. I wasnt brave enough to try the toilets. It was a shame, I've heard so many positive things about this place and was meant to be a treat after a day exploring the city. The bin received more of our food than our stomachs. Don't waste your time, money and tastebuds on this pretentious fast food disaster, save your money and go to a proper establishment instead.. you know, one with nice ambience, pleasant, visible staff, and actual decent quality food.

The mac and cheese balls were really good but they did NOT need to be drenched in the buffalo/cheese sauce. They get a bit soggy if you don't eat them right away...It would be better if the sauce was on the side and they weren't swimming in them. I got a salad which sounds basic, I know, but it was surprisingly delicious. Broccolini, edamame, cranberries, avocado, and mixed greens. Walnuts would've been good too but they were not included. The dressing was light and tangy (got it on the side). My boyfriend got a burger (I forgot the name but he liked it but said he's had better). He probably thought it was decent because we were so hungry at the time...But the fries that it came with were good and cooked perfectly.
