As of lately the food hasn't been as good. And the employers are too lazy to hire anyone. I applied online for a job, waited and waited. Had to go up and ask for an interview. Guy told me "we'll let you know", then waited and waited. Nothing... Come on Republic, people need jobs. read more

I ordered a double quarter pounder with cheese, no onions, extra pickles. I was charged 50 cents for 2, yes 2 pickles. I order this way at every McDonalds but never charged for extra pickles. The pickles are razor thin! Won't be at this McDonalds anymore. read more

This is a photo of the Hamburher my wife just got from the Republic McDonald's. It is completely raw on the inside like it wasn't even cooked. It made her sick! This is a serious health risk. I called the store the manger said they will give us a free value meal. I tryed to find contact info for the owner's. But was not able to find info to contact them directly. I want the owner's to see the product they are serving the public and understand how dangerous this could be. Just giving another value meal is not a good reponse to something like this. Ordered food and drinks thru doordash....when delivered all that was in sack was the drinks, Called Mcdonalds and talked to manager...he said one of his employees had forgotten to put the food in....said I could come and get it...yold him I am in wheelchair abd do not drive which is why I use Doordash......told me I would have to come get it or contact Doordash for a refund....told him they screwed it up, they should contact doordash to get it staightened out.....more or less said it's not his job ..... read more

I don't believe an effort is being put into working here, haven't had ANY issues in the afternoon. All issues I have had is coming on days during breakfast time. 7:30 am on a Sunday, only car in line and they forget a biscuit to accompany the gravy. The drive thru is a bit cumbersome but this is a popular location. My grandson loves the playground area. I was especially impressed with their customer appreciation. I was here this weekend visiting my grandson and doing so on limited funds. This McDonalds made my day because they were treating mothers on Mothers Day to a free meal with a happy meal purchase. What a treat that was. Since the Springfield Zoo was treating moms with free entry, we were able to have a great Mothers Day. Excellent service and helpful staff. This restaurant is located in a good spot on Highway 60, just down the road from a Wal-Mart and Walgreens. It is kept very clean and the food is done well, something you will not see in every fast food place. Watch out for the speed bumps. There is an alternate entrance if you need it. This is an updated location although a bit small. read more

This review is mainly for the burgers. Last time I went I ordered 2 reg burgers drive through. I unwrapped up the first burger and half the bun was covered in a thin film of ketchup on the outside of the bun! Now that's just gross. I unwrapped the second it was the same not as bad. Can't expect much from a McDonald's. But this is by far the worst. Been here 5or 6 times to get coffee. I get a cup full of vanilla flavoring, a splash of cream and a teaspoon of coffee. And this happened more than once. What idiot can't make coffee? The few times I went for a burger/ nuggets the fries are soggy. The burgers are always messed up. And the nuggets taste like they sat under the heat lamp for 5 hours. And that's if you get all your food. The hiring manager needs to be canned. Employees running through the lobby yelling at each other and horse play in front of customers. Going through the lobby to go outside to smoke and returning without washing hands. Sexual jokes made in front of my children. A friend of the staff/ soon to be hired person sitting at the memory game at the both for hours just hanging out and not purchasing anything. Several of the staff sitting in the both behind my children and I having very adult conversations loudly. My kids should not be exposed to this at a McDonald's. Very disappointed . read more
