Food, service could be improved. Don't go there anymore. Very inconsistent quality and they always mess up the order.

Always stop by while at the lake. Amazing food and some of the best ice cream out there. Good service. Highly recommend it.

A great selection of tasty snacks, full meals, and delicious desserts. Some of the best burgers around.

The custard in the coconut cream was cold, creamy and laced with coconut and topped with a perfect level of whipped crème. I'm not a whipped cream girl but it was pretty tastee! The ambiance of this place is fun and retro. There is a main jukebox at the front and smaller options at some of the tables. The menu included about six different pies and several types of cheesecake. There were also several ice cream options as well as diner food, like burgers and dogs and sandwiches. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who eats.

Cakes & Creams in Branson is such a fun little treat stop if you're in town and want really yummy…read moredessert. It has that classic vacation town feeling where getting ice cream just feels like part of the whole trip. Plus they have funnel cake and how can you not stop for funnel cake?! Great spot to cool off after walking around all day too! They have a lot of options, so it's easy to find something that sounds good whether you want pizza, hot dogs, a burger, ice cream, cake, or something extra sweet. Portions were generous in traditional diner fashion, everything was delish as well! Inside can get busy, especially during peak tourist times when we were there, so expect a little chaos and line movement going slow depending when you go. That's pretty normal for Branson, but worth knowing if you're tired or in a hurry. Overall, a pretty great stop!

The thing is the outsides look great, but most the insides of the buildings are full of crap, and scraps... When we went "on a Friday at 2pm" everything was closed, even the little dinner "not sure it's even functional." Basically you are just here to see a full-scale display of country living from the past in the Midwest. Nothing special for people who grew up living around these kinds of buildings. And even worse is there's really nothing to do, but, or see besides the outside of old buildings.

The location while it was in joplin was located in a repurposed building and made into a tea house as well. They serve a daily selection of sweet pies and other baked goods. I believe on social media they're moving to Carthage and I know for a fact I'll be following them there for more of their incredible pot pies.

It all tasted the same. Too loose consistency. The "butter cream" tasted like it was made of Crisco. It was terrible. Chocolate frosting was terrible and their "fillings" weren't that. It was the same terrible "butter cream". The cake was way too dry. Couldn't even cut it without it falling apart into a massive pile of crumbs. It was hard to get down. The vanilla tasted like an overly eggy, super cheap box mix. Fake vanilla flavor. It was the worse tasting vanilla cake I have ever tasted. Even my dad hated it and he loves cake. It was so bad I wanted to teach them how to make a cake. Give them some tips and pointers. I mean. How hard is it to go on Pinterest and watch YouTube videos!?! Then maybe they will learn how to do a cake. The chocolate cake was a basic meh cake. The spiced cake was ok. But again the crumb was terrible. It was like eating sand. The only saving Grace was the pumpkin cake. It was underbaked, but it was at least edible and enjoyable.... Until we paired with the frosting. And then it was ruined. I was in tears at the thought of this bakery being our only option for our wedding. We already wasted $25 for a tasting. Luckily we pushed back the wedding now have proper time to look for a bakery who does cakes from scratch and not from boxer mix. I won't have to worry about anyone getting sick because of the Crisco and sugar paste. Or having someone inhale the crumbs and I have to do CPR at the wedding.
