Drive thru at 9:39 pm is horrible. Been in line for over 12 minutes. This is the second time in 2 weeks. This is unacceptable.

Not the barista's fault. I'd probably stick try something more traditional next time. Theres a nice bakery case with a variety of sundries: Muffins, cookies and the like. Seating is interspersed through the shop. I find Reedsburg to be something of a wasteland when it comes to local food/bev/coffee so I really appreciated finding this little local joint. The person working was super friendly - always adds nicely to the local experience.

Everything is local or WI made. I've gotten a bunch of goodies including fancy olive oils, seasonings, tiny fig jams and honeys, crackers with edible flowers - incredible foodie gift options. Their cold brew was a little strong in a good way and very tasty. The maple root beer they sell is very good as well. There's a rotating offerings of baked goods from strawberry basil cupcakes, raspberry key lime, carrot cake and ginger. The chai tea latte was on the spicier side which I appreciated. They also have punch cards for every visit. They are launching the fall menu soon. Service has been friendly and personable every time. I loved learning about the co-owners - a mother and son team who both specialize in different aspects of the shop. Go give it a try - I know you'll find something unique. Great vibes and addition to the Reedsburg shopping and coffee scene.

I'm so glad they haven't switched things up and they taste exactly the same. Forever one of my favorite coffee shops and everyone who works there is so kind!

This last time, I asked for a caramel macchiato and he said to go to Starbucks if I want something ridiculous like that. For anybody that hasn't worked in a coffee shop before, a macchiato is simply the espresso layered on top of the milk instead of mixed in. Yes, the exact same as a latte, just not mixed and usually has a little extra espresso. So if you can make a latte, you can make a macchiato. If you don't know what that is or it's not on your menu, that is literally okay, you can just say that nicely instead of snapping. Also, purely in my opinion, if you work in a coffee shop you should have some knowledge of the product. That's pretty standard for any workplace really; if you work there, you should at least be familiar with the product you work with. I've had negative interactions with this gentleman enough times now that I'm just going to avoid this shop going forward. I think they moved his shift to afternoons, but I just don't even want to take the chance of it being him at the register anymore. I'm not going to be snapped at for ordering a coffee.

I always get cold brew, which has a wonderfully full taste and doesn't have that burnt flavor like the beans offered at inferior coffee spots. I absolutely love that they have coconut milk, which is rather unheard-of in most places. I can get my coffee here just as I would make it at home, which is made with Two Rivers' house-roasted beans of course! I do not however, have iced coffee ice cubes at my house as they do here. Um, AMAZING!! Talk about going the extra mile for their coffee people! Beyond the excellent coffee and accoutrements they have here, the place is tastefully and minimally decorated. It's perfect for bringing a friend to chat with or your laptop to get some work done. The best part: it's located in historic downtown Portage and is family owned and operated. It's owned by the nicest young couple of whom will be your friends in no time! These guys make it! Support this wonderful family and give the historic downtown your business by enjoying an absolutely superb cup of coffee! (Or three if you're anything like me.)

The barista jumped up when we walked in and greeted us warmly The almond joy is sweet, my husband said it's good. The cafe au lait is very weak and desperately needs another shot of espresso.
