Just stopped in passing thru on way back to Texas -- we've stopped here several times in the last 5 years with no past issues. Slow service, salads not fit to eat (wilted lettuce and squishy tomatoes, barely any bacon on the bacon ranch salad). Sweet tea is an "upgrade" of several extra cents and tastes horrible. Only location I've been to in 7 states on this trip that doesn't have the $1 large drink special. Chicken sandwich had WAY too much mayo. No forks provided, had to go back and ask for two forks for two salads ordered, was treated rudely and asked what our order was before they'd give us forks. We ordered breakfast to go... I ordered the big breakfast and thankfully opened the bag before leaving to discover it was lacking the strawberry jam I requested and no eating utensils, salt or pepper. Had to go back inside to get what I needed from the unapologetic manager. My scrambled eggs were overcooked -- almost burned and cooked to a leather texture and tasted dreadful. Ugh... absolutely the most horrid meal I've ever had from a McDonalds. We will never eat here again. read more

The drive thru lady at the order screen was very curt, they said fresh coffee in about a minute and forty seconds and to pull forward. We pulled forward and waited for about five minutes and the whole time this employee was lazily sauntering back and forth wiping down something and looked at us about ten times and never once came over to ask us if we were waiting for anything. The very least he could've gotten someone to come over and help us, but instead he was like, "Oh look, people just chilling out eating at the window, cool. Now back to wiping these things down and talking to myself." Dude, wth?! My mom went inside to get the coffee after I parked and they forgot my coffee but at least she got hers. I'm going to a gas station to get my coffee. Btw, the food is alright. read more

Can I give a negative star? We are actually thinking about writing McDonald's HQ. This place is gross. I saw a family with 2 little girls refuse to use the ladies restrooms. There was poop on the men's bathroom floor. No paper towels. No soap. The manager had boogers hanging from his nose. Do not stop in Raton whatever you do. Please take my advice. read more

Today March 25, 2019 I went to this McDonald's in Raton it's the McDonald's as soon as you come down from the mountain pass and I ordered two sausage McMuffin's which I might've ordered something different if they would turn their menus on so I go to the window to check out and she gives me two sausage and egg McMuffin's and I told her that was wrong so the manager comes up and asks what is wrong and I tell her and she says well I repeated the order back to you she then said yes I did and I said no you did it she that said yes I did with an attitude to top it off the manager I'm talking about comes to the window what tattoos everywhere a wrinkled shirt no name tag with 2 inch fingernails which makes me think how is she preparing peoples food with these long nails there's no way she can get gloves on and do her job right very unprofessional McDonald's. Come on....you should have pride in your work where ever that may be. In our case, the bun was stale and the green chilies were missing, the burger was taken back and asked for a new bun and some chilies to our surprise we got the buger back and the back prep decided to be a smart a** and pile on the chilies to the point of a sloppy soggy mess. Took the burger back up and the prep lady came screaming around the corner, and I quote " he wanted green chile's " then told my husband FU...Nothing was done by management standing right there. The owner should take pride in their establishment and fire everyone of the no pride employees. We will never go to a McDonald's again, too many better options than this. Beware! At 6:30 AM this parking lot was littered with trash. Trash cans were overflowing. Doors were filthy as if they'd not been cleaned in days. Welcome to the dirtiest McDonald's ever. No soap in the restroom. read more

Sad..bought a Grand Mac for the very first time ..MISTAKE! come on put some food on there and sauce and the meat was LIKE LEATHER! I opened my box and flipped the top sesame seed bun off and seen NOTHING BUT ANOTHER PEICE OF BREAD WITH NOTHING ON IT,then I flipped that off and there were 2 meat patties sitting together, you can't even get the food on the burger a few sprinkles of lettuce and a drip of sauce with 2 pickles AINT GONNA CUT IT! We are a family of 6 come on get with the program..not to mention the lady who waited on us looked like she was high as a kite. be glad u got the 1 star there wasn't a 0 star. read more

Dirty, disgusting restrooms that had trash literally all over the floor. We should have turned around when we walked in the door and there were at least 10 groups waiting for their orders. It took 50 minutes to get our breakfast and then the food was not good (the exception was the tasty hot cakes). We will never frequent this business again and I strongly recommend anyone find another place to eat. read more

Took 15 minutes to get 3 drinks, then one was wrong. Didn't have change to break a $20.00 bill. Only one person taking orders, needless to say, not a pleasant stop. Kids more agitated by the time we left than when we got there. read more

This place charges for dipping sauce even if you buy nuggets! When the snotty girl told me to pull ahead I said no thanks here is the drinks and I would like my money back. She yelled at me and made fun of us in front of her coworkers and the other customers. I pulled ahead and waited for 5 min and went back in the drive thru and asked for my money back again and was told that the cops were coming and I wouldn't be getting my money back, and I was going to jail! My kids were crying and and hungry so we left w/o ever setting foot into the store and getting any food or our money back. I talked to the owner and she said sorry and made no corrective action against the manager and sent me 25.00 witch didn't even cover the amount my family lost that day. I rarely eat at McDonald's and had higher expectations when pulling into the parking lot since the restaurant was updated nicely. Looks are very deceiving. I ordered a plain grilled chicken sandwich. When my order was ready, it was a crispy grilled chicken sandwich with everything on it. I returned it to the cashier and with her emotionless demeanor she took it to the back and said it'll be ready in a few minutes. She gave me the new one, it was a grilled chicken sandwich with everything on it. I told her for the third time, I only want a plain grilled chicken sandwich, nothing on it. She took it to the back and within 30 seconds she returned the broken box with a plain grilled chicken sandwich - they just dumped the contents with the sauce still on top. I asked for the manager and asked her to give me a refund for my entire order for all of the trouble. This experience helped reiterate why I loathe fast food restaurants. The manager was quiet and complied. A couple other young cashiers were friendly but the one cashier I had was completely emotionless and could give a crap about anything. read more
