Dear McDonald's corporate, hire more people here and give these poor workers more support. They are working themselves ragged and stressed out trying to help all these people here. I know it's just a McDonald's but I have to compliment their friendly service. I'm working in Rantoul this week, and I've been here three times. On each visit I was greeted cheerfully. Each employee smiled warmly, and sincerely thanked me. It is so rare to have such good service at fast food restaurants these days. Five stars for great customer service! read more

CHECK YOUR ORDERS!!! Be prepared to double check your orders they constantly leave items out. Their bacon is the worst in the industry thin and in bits and small on top of it. Otherwise the foods not bad for fast food. You get what you paid for, if you get it. read more

I'm giving this McDonald's a five star review because their employees are SOLDIERS. In the midst of being understaffed earlier today and having a mountain of orders they made sure everyone was well taken care of. They were welcoming, warm and polite despite the onslaught and they dealt with each customer professionally and patiently. read more

I got apple slices and they gave me what you see in that picture, on that same day I asked for a medium soda and they gave me a small, I got a 6 piece chicken nugget and they gave me a really tiny nugget that was one of the 6. This was the worst McDonald's experience I have ever had. read more

It's a McDonald's so I wouldn't expect much. But there are some days that this McDonald's leaves me wanting more than they give. The early morning workers around breakfast time are always kind and the food is always as you order it. But the service you receive in the afternoon or later at night is hit or miss. Sometimes I've gotten cold fries, or my side of barbecue sauce was missing, which may seem small and it is but when I was pregnant and this was the end of the world for me. As funny as it sounds, it was a little disappointing at the time. Just make sure when you order that you double check your order before you leave because there are times where I have had missing items. Third time in a week I went out shortly after 10pm to be told that, although their posted hours advise that they are open until 11pm, they were only offering fries and drinks. When I complained, the staff was incredibly rude about it. And the manager, who was more civil at least, had no explanation. Don't bother. Why would I drive all the way to the edge of town, for a place so unreliable they can't even tell me accurately when they are open. read more

This location never has the buttermilk crispy tenders on hand. I've been through about 10-12 times asking for them always to the response "we are currently out of tenders." The service here is fair, friendly workers (for the most part) but the food is a 4/10 at best. Don't be disappointed if you find yourself disappointed, you've been warned. read more

There is an Employee there named Michelle who needs her attitude adjusted. She is too old to be acting like a whiny teenager at her first job. I am fed up with her complaining at me because I use the app. Not to mention telling me that coffee is bad for me. Really? Do your job with a smile. Don't give me attitude. Much better after the remodel, they seem to have a much better batch of workers. One of the woman managers there seems like a real b**ch, and that's putting it nicely. Went there last night around 11:00, and was greeted with "You're going to have to wait a while, we only have three people working." I said "OK" then she asks quizzically, "You're willing to wait an hour for food?" And I said, "No" and drove off. That was the extent of the conversation with no proper greeting at all. So a McDonald's is generally a McDonald's, right? You know what to expect, and quality isn't the first thing you're going for. So I'm standing in line and watching this young man in the back making food. He raises his gloved hand to his face and wipes his nose with the back of his hand. He then walks forward. I maintain direct eye contact with him and he with me. I continue the stare down, and he begrudgingly turns, walks further back, throws away the old gloves, washes his hands, and puts on new gloves. I maintain my stare never looking away. He again locks eyes with me and walks toward the burger production area. It felt like a long time of starring but was probably only 30 seconds to a minute. He was not happy with the look on my face and the unspoken calling-out of nose wiping activities. The counters were dirty and sticky, and they were a bit backed-up for 7:40 p.m. on a Saturday. I placed an order through the app, and when I went to pick up my food from the restaurant drive-thru, I sat at the speaker waiting for someone to help me for about 15 minutes. There were also 3 or 4 other customers who waited just as long to be waited on that ended up driving away after being ignored. The restaurant was closed for indoor dining, so I couldn't go inside to speak with someone. I already paid for my order through the app (a little over 20 dollars) and never received my food order.  I drove up to the payment and food windows and did see 4 or 5 employees standing around and talking, but still no one attempted to help me or the other patrons. I then witnessed these employees turn out the lights inside the restaurant and leave. The hours posted on the window stated they were open until 11pm. I think this is a terrible disservice to loyal customers, and I dont think I'll be returning to this McDonald's location any time soon. I would like my money back, plus some type of compensation for over 30 minutes of my time wasted. read more

The drive thru is not helpful. I called the facility and the manager said she was the one on drive thru. What manager doesn't know how to ring up a breakfast sandwich without meat on it? I had ordered 2 mc chickens simple enough right? Well, I opened it to find a glob of dark long hair. my hair is red. So it wasn't mine. I went told someone they gave me a new one. my wife and I stopped at this McDonald's Saturday night. normally we go through the drive thru , but tonight we went in,this place was really dirty. the bathroom had paper towels all over the floor, and toilet paper on the floor all around the toilet. I saw the manager go in the bathroom and come out . I went in later and the bathroom was still the same ,he couldn't even send someone in to clean it.the dinning was also dirty , dirty tables and garbage on the floor. I counted at least 10 people working and still couldn't keep the place clean. as far as the food goes it was OK but took a while to get. this place was poorly managed. read more
