the service is consistently slow and employees don't care. absolutely zero pep in their step. i've seen young employees getting screamed at by customers over things that aren't their fault while management goofs off in the back. the store is backed up and they are joking about smoking and rolling up with a drive thru line around the building and customers waiting inside. the store also stinks like sewage. read more

Truly a shame that zero and negative numbers are not an option. Stay far, far away from this location. When I visited midday on a Thursday, ordering a burger and an iced coffee, service was terrible, with angry customers pacing the small lobby. Not what you customarily see at a McDonald's. The crew seemed to be wandering aimlessly behind the counter, and it was clear the assistant manager was doing the best she could to hold things together. When my order was delivered, the burger was cold, mayonnaise all over the outside of the wrapper, overall a very low quality effort. I swear, my coffee tasted like a cup of iced kerosene. I do not know what in the world happened there. I had already left the establishment, and I would not think to turn around and ask for my order to be re-done. The absolute worst McDonalds I have ever visited. They rarely (if ever) get my order right. One time asked for honey and sweet chili sauce and got honey mustard and habanero ranch. We have given them chance after chance to get it right and they always disappoint. We have even talked to the manager and nothing has ever changed in at least 5 years. Avoid! Update: it's 2019 and NOTHING has changed. Still get orders incorrect and they do not care about their customers. Food is wrong and cold. Managers do not care about their customers. read more

Before leaving their drive-through, be sure to check your order. I have ordered diet Coke and have discovered when arriving home, I have Cherry Coke. I think that McDonald's is extraordinarily busy, so they make mistakes. If you tell the manager, they try to make it right. I have never seen food handlers without masks or gloves which most certainly matters to me during COVID. Not a fan of French fries, but they are part of most meals so you simply take them home and decide whether to eat them or not. read more

I get the same thing everytime and some how everytime the mess it up, and it's getting really annoying. I get two mcChickens NO LETTUCE, but they still manage to have lettuce every time. Went here to get some takeout for dinner last week, my opinion has not improved - took almost 15 minutes to get my food, they forgot to give me a drink until I asked for it on the way out, and they screwed up my burger order. Wasn't worth going back in and wasting another 10-15 minutes when starving - I think this is pretty much the last time I go here, unless i'm just absolutely dying for something that only McD's has for some crazy reason. read more

I honestly could not decide between 1 star or 2 because I love McDonald's but this McDonald's in Radford V.A. cannot seem to get our order correct for anything! They are constantly running out of menu and the ice cream machine is always down ! Last night my husband ordeed our food on the way home ( we live not 5 min away) He ordered me a #1 Big Mac meal and Him a Chicken Tenders Meal .He gets up to the window to pay they told him once again they were sold out of the Tenders and iced tea didn't even have ice in it! Do you have a picky passenger in the car that will make you go back until the order is right? Then you better expect to waste 45 minutes here at McDonalds! If it was one thing I would say they were having an off day but this place was a disaster. None of the sodas were working and they weren't telling people before they went to the self serve soda machines. They were still charging for sodas and offering no discount off meal prices. There was sweet tea in the unsweetened tea dispenser. The whole soda area had a terrible smell. We had to wait a long time for our food. They brought it out and it was missing an order of chicken strips. Five minutes later I went to check on them and they had forgotten about them so we had to wait even longer. The chicken strips were chewy and disgusting. They had one register open at lunch time so there were tons of people waiting. We saw no fewer than four other people return their food because it was incorrect. One of the employees who was bringing food out to people in the dining room had what looked like caked on dust or crud on the back of her shirt after which point we didn't feel like we could continue eating because who knows how it got there and what may have been dropping in food.
