Before this McDonald's was renovated, I would've given it two stars because of the god-awful staff, cold food, and filthy atmosphere. But it's been bumped up to three for a few reasons. For one, this McDonald's looks and feels like it's not completely outdated now. The new Playscape is a negative however, because it's about two times smaller than the old one. Also, everytime you walk into the Play area, chewed up pieces of french fries and spilled milkshake are the norm of what you see on the floor, with the employees just standing around doing nothing. For some reason after the renovation, everytime I come here my food is hot and the drive thru tends to make less mistakes (they still make a lot though). The staff is usually hit or miss, but mostly hit. The soda for some reason at this location is sometimes REALLY watery, and sometimes way too sugary. Yep, it's definitely a mystery. The decor is actually pretty nice now (what did you expect with 75% less plastic all over the place?). The food tastes like McDonald's. It's McDonald's. So, in general, this location can sometimes be almost spot on, or WAY WAY WAY off. If you want a better McDonald's location, but don't mind the drive, head up to the Auburn, MA location (off of exit 6B, I-395). It has a humongous 90's style Playscape and it's a pretty big location itself. Adios! read more

I give one star.... Because Yelp will not let me select zero. There are a few people who work there that think it's okay to drop hot cakes on the floor, and then serve them to customers. The cakes were not out of the packaging but there was some dirty specs on it and a couple dents and the pancakes were flopped over. I have a kid with a compromised immune system. So gross. I'm just grossed out, and disappointed. read more
