I've been here a few times when I want something quick over the years, and they really deserve the one star. You name it, it happened: Cold fries, flat or lopsided burgers, enough ketchup on some burgers that you actually can do 3 burgers with it, and shorted orders. A word to the wise: check your orders before you leave the pickup window! ANOTHER BIG ISSUE: Be careful when pulling in or leaving. There is one hell of a deep pothole, and it will cause damage to low riding cars. This hole has been here for a long time. You figure that whoever the cheapskate that owns this franchise, can fix this. But then again, with the poor service here, maybe they can't afford it! read more

I still go there! It's McDonald's! Can't expect prime rib, or there burgers to look like they do on ads! They do taste good like they should! But that being said, the biggest rip off is the fries! We waited over an hour and 35 minutes in line for mcdonald's. we timed how long the car in front of us took to get there food and it was 12 minutes and 37 seconds. And at the window it took us 9 more minutes... So disappointing. the food was cold and we had to ask for missing food more then three times. WOW, I just waited 10 minutes at the driver thru for 3 burgers and a large Fry. Should have skipped the fry, only ate a handful and my mouth is burning from all the salt. looked in the back and there was salt all over the bottom of the bag too. I got there at 9:50 pm on a Saturday. While the sign said the inside was open until midnight, the door was locked. I went to the drive thru and there were six vehicles in front of me. Waited over 15 for nuggets as drive-thru orders are always served FIRST. I am a parent of one of the employees at McDonald's. I witnessed this morning another Employee (A manager mind you Kelsey)being rude and disrespectful to MY child who is 16. I know what you're thinking. (No I didn't beat her up). I didn't say anything to her. I was not going to embarrass my son the way she did. Yes I'm very angry about it. I called and reported her. I came in earlier this morning to get my kid a cheeseburger, a child; and this young woman working at the window, I think she goes by the name of Loralie/ Loraly? brought me my food after touching her hair and face several times, placing the food in the bag after touching it. I don't work in customer services but either way I don't find that appropriate in any setting while handling food. Not only that, but when she approached me to bring me my bag, I hate to say this but there's no way to put it nicely; she smelled like she crawled straight out of the garbage can from the parking lot itself. For any job it's a requirement to be hygienic, especially enough that I don't have to worry about feeding my kid food that an employee handled. Went here again, unfortunately this is in our travels. It was good for us this last time. We placed our order and the person in the other lane placed his which was 2 separate orders for him. They tried to charge for the wrong order then when we got our meal, we saw it all there and left only to find 2 extra sandwiches in our bag. I guess this makes up for the mistakes in the past. The other night was the last straw for spending any more money at any one of 3 mcdonalds in putnam,brooklyn and dayville ct. I usually spend 40 to 60 dollars a week between these locations for quick meals before my kids early evening activites. At least 1/2 of the time I have to go back into the place so they can correct my drive thru order. Well the other night in Putnam was it, MGR.had a bad attitude and it showed in from what I could see were brand new employees who had no idea what was going on. real quick drive thru..10 min to explain my order at least 5 times...asked if all was ok at pay window and got a half ass answer, who by the way was there training a new employee. I received order at 2nd window after waiting 5 min. there. So far 10 min in line 10 min explaing order 5 min getting wrong order and then another 10 min going inside to get the right order= 35 min. BS to spend good money on. Never again read more
