Okay, I have to say, once you get used to Chick-fil-A's in the South, it's hard to experience one in the North. They just have things down to such an amazing and efficient system in the South that sometimes it's hard to have patience here. The drive-thru is not fast and took us a long long time to get through, even though the line wasn't that long. The pickup is also pretty messy. In every other location I've been to, they have a pickup shelf and you just go in and grab your stuff. Not here. You have to flag down an employee to help you and usually they are all chit chatting with each other and don't quickly stop to help you. So you are just unnecessarily waiting around. There are always plenty of employees, but they just seem to be chatting with each other vs getting orders out. The food is the same! They just need to take a page from the other locations to make things more efficient. read more

Chick-fil-A is pretty much Chick-fil-A ... you know what you are getting and the food is fried, bagged and delicious. So why my low rating? 1. The line situation is out of control. The planning board who approved this clusterfuck of a situation should be ashamed of themselves. The line snakes out into the actual entrance of the shopping plaza, making it a complete nightmare to get into the parking lot ... both of Chick-fil-A or the actual plaza. Lots of beeping, light flashing and angry people. 2. Once you do get in the line, you can't get out. After a 10 minute wait in the drive through line on a Thursday night, I had had enough and decided to abort the mission. I couldn't. I was stuck in line and there was no way to get out. If zombies invaded at that very moment, I'd be a goner ... but more importantly, I still had a 15 minute wait because I was trapped in my car in line. 3. That's right ... a 25 minute wait at the drive through on a regular Thursday night. Fast food this is not! All in all, a stop for a chicken sandwich and milkshake took 30 minutes. When I got to the order window, they were out of a lot of items. No lemonade. No fries. Wait ... No fries??!! 4. The food here isn't bad. It's what you'd get at any other Chick-Filet. However, I will say that a Chick-fil-A cookies and cream milk shake is usually one of my all time favourite food items. It's made with real creamy ice cream ... thick and good. Here, they always seem to be watery and blended shitty. Overall, unlesd I drive by and see like 4 cars in the drivethrough line, I am not going out of my way to go here. For being the only CFA in RI, this location does pretty well in getting its customers through. Whether I'm dining in, picking up, or going through the drive thru, it's usually a wait of some sort, but it's to be expected. The manager gives our rewards occasionally too, so download the app if you haven't already! Food is consistent as well. The star deduction is because it's so hard to get counter attention. Whether it's going up for a refill, a missing item from my order, or whatever the inquiry may be, you really have to bulldoze your way to getting some attention. Out and about on a Saturday, there was nothing but mass chaos at Chic Fil A. The team was slinging food like crazy- they did a great job! Food was your standard Chic Fil A. It came out hot and tasted great. My only complaint was that there is NOT enough seating. You'd think by now they would build this place bigger to allow more seating. The people were really nice but they messed up my $16 order twice. I ordered the wrap but with fried chicken instead. The first time they made it they didnt give me any chicken and the wrap was just sloppy. The second time they made it, I kid you not they put in 3 strips of chicken and stuffed it with lettuce and cabbage. At that point I should have just ordered a salad. I've worked at CFA years before. So when the store opened I noticed the lines and how popular it was. I waited probably a year until I went by one day and saw that there was a very small line so I thought it was a good time to try what they offered and what was attracting so many people. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich which was pretty tasteless and uninteresting. Then I was told by people that I had ordered the wrong thing, that I should have ordered the fried chicken sandwich and that was what attracted all these customers. So Mike and I went for lunch this week. I actually got some kind of southwest chicken salad and he got the famous fried chicken sandwich with waffle fries and a soda. He also got a brownie. It came to almost $25 which was a lot of money to me for fast food. We pulled over in an empty parking lot in the shade to enjoy our lunch. It is really hard to ruin a salad but that was the most disgusting salad I have ever had. I ate maybe a quarter of it and threw the rest away. Mike tried his sandwich and said that it was OK but pretty boring and not something he would ever stand in line for. He said it was kind of dry and not that well seasoned. On the other hand the waffle fries were excellent. They were well salted which I love and that is probably the only thing that I would ever go back to that restaurant for. First time trying out Chick-fil-A which is the only one in Rhode Island. Drove around the establishment and saw that they were not only one but two drive-thru lanes. Whoa...I need to check this out. My spoiled daughter, I mean, wonderful Angel, decided we go in instead of waiting in the Drive-Thru line. There was a long line inside as well. We ordered and gave our names. About five minutes later the nice waitress came to our table and delivered our food. I ordered the chicken sandwich and she ordered the chicken nuggets. Both came with a drink and a side of waffle fries. The fries were cooked to Perfection. Light and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Honestly, my chicken sandwich with lettuce tomato and pickle was really good. My daughter loved her chicken nuggets as well (she's a connessuir when it comes to fast food chicken). I wondered why people in the Drive-Thru received their food a little faster. My daughter explained (because she once worked at Wendy's), is that the main focus is placed on quick turnaround with the drive-thru. They definitely deliver on good quality food. This is the worst Chick Fil A I've ever been to. No joke it was awful. We arrived around 9:45 am. We waited over 15 min to order, then nearly 20 min for our food after that. So after 35 min we didn't have food. When our food was finally brought out you would expect after that wait it would be piping hot but alas no. The hash browns were soggy. The nuggets were cold and the chicken filet didn't taste right so we didn't even finish it. The store is in abysmal shape. There were no kid placemats. There was trash on tables. One of the ladies toilets was backed up and there was no toilet paper. Ick! read more

Running some errands in the area- we stopped here. We planned to order take out but the lobby is closed to customers. We proceeded to the drive thru. The whole process took less than a minute. We put our order in- pulled up behind the car that was in the process of getting their food- within 10 seconds they left and we pulled up. Within 15 seconds we got all of our food and drink. The bags had condiments and napkins. Truly an amazing drive thru experience and I doubt that I will ever have such a pleasant and seamless experience ever again. No stress. No mistakes. This was the FASTEST I have ever gotten food. I felt like a marathon runner grabbing a drink from the water table. The food was hot and tasty. So hot we needed to wait to eat it! Can't deny the quality of the product and the uniqueness of the preparation that sets apart "Chick-Fil-A" from its competitors. The Original Chicken sandwich is the go to to fully appreciate the genius it is to brine the chicken with pickle brine. Coupled with the light, but significant, well-seasoned breading; you have the makings of greatness. The sandwich is no frills but you can taste the history on why Chick-Fil-A has been a staple across the country. Something that is completely underrated, but deserves attention, is Chick-Fil-A's breakfast offering. The chicken minis are the epitome of Southern flavor. Chick-Fil-A's chicken nuggets nestled in between a mini version of a Southern Yeast roll definitely hits the spot when one is looking for a savory-sweet combination in the morning. Need something more substantial, try a chicken biscuit! The chicken biscuits is a smaller that original sandwich size chicken breast filet inside a buttery Southern style biscuit (think Popeye's chicken biscuit but not as greasy). Pro-Tip: My goto biscuit is off-menu but it is a Chicken, Egg, and Cheese biscuit. This sandwich always reminds me of my old Kentucky days of picking this combo biscuit at a Gas station's Chester Fried Chicken stand in the morning. Other than chicken related items, you have to try Chick-Fil-A's "Thrive Farmers" sustainably sourced coffees. The coffee is of high quality. On par with Dunkin' coffee but with a conscious. Additionally the milkshakes have always been superior to Chick-Fil-A's competitors. My go to is the cookies and cream. Also a plus, Chick-Fil-A's ice cream (called ice dream) machines are never "down" when I go to this location. Another note about Chick-Fil-A is that all iced beverages are iced with nugget-ice (like Sonic Drive-Thru). Also note that the soft drinks are not self-served, but the staff is always willing to provide the free refills fast food goers are accustomed to having. Speaking of service, Chick-Fil-A employees are known to provide the best customer service experience in the industry, the "Rhode Island" location is no exception. While some fast food joint hold onto dipping sauces like it is gold, Chick-Fil-A hands them out like is an inalienable right. Again, I'm giving this five stars because they have remove available hot sauces, first it was Tabasco sauce packets disappeared about 3-4 months after opening day and now I can't find the Texas-Pete sauce available. If they bring back the Tabasco sauce packets, I will award this the fifth star it truly deserves. Recommendation and two cents: Narragansett/Wakefield area seems to be right fit for another Chick-Fil-A location. Surprisingly enough, Tourist sometimes flock to the familiar, so a Chick-Fil-A in the South County area would be great. Additionally we have URI in the vicinity so even during the off season business would still be booming. read more

We come here every so often in our fast food rotation... for as busy as the are they move pretty fluidly. If they make a mistake I have never had an issue with them making it right.. the pandemic has made everything slightly different and in my opinion people just need to slow down and give the staff some adjustment period.
