Beautiful place. Spacious, bright, main floor large bathrooms (might be fully accessible, I don't recall if there was a step to get into the cafe) and very friendly service. If I didn't live in Toronto, I might be here writing all the time. Today it seemed like shuffle mode included the soundtrack from Across The Universe, Death Cab For Cutie & Tom Waits. I would have loved to try the gluten free chocolate brownie but now I have something to look forward to next time I'm in town. Wonderful supply of loose teas as well. And, the Rabbit. This cute coffee shop on the main strip is warm and cozy, with friendly staff and bright, sunny front windows. I had the drip coffee (excellent) and watched as the barista prepared instagram-worthy espresso-based beverages for the customers before me. I took home a bag of their in-shop roasted coffee ("Cardinal", a medium-dark-roast Mexican bean) and was delighted with the flavour, clarity, and sweetness. Can't wait for our next trip to snag some more Dizziness!

The ambiance is everything you would want in a coffee shop: inviting, cozy, clean, beautiful, with lots of room to sit and relax. I was already set with pastries from next door so I ordered my decaf coffee here. I was impressed that they make decaf from scratch, always, Americano-style. It was piping hot, fresh and delicious. I chatted with the staff about the food selection and baked goods. Everything is made on the premises, by the owner and staff. I'm a bakery fan and their selections looked both beautiful and tasty. My husband and I will be back for a stay in Kincardine and The Daily Grind will surely be our go-to place to relax.

We have been a week in Port Elgin, trying all the restaurants and this one was clearly the best by far! After a day of navigating the challenging wet weather, we enjoyed a surprisingly wonderful time with amazingly diverse fusion cuisine; 3 main dishes between the 2 of us: Malaysian beef, eggplant, and potato curry $26 West African Peanut Stew $16 on the menu. Thai Green Coconut Curry $15 on the menu. We also ordered hand made naan! The meals were outstanding and extremely good value. Last but not least we had to try one of 2 dessert options despite how over full we felt...the beavertail-like pastry with homemade blueberry topping with fresh cream. Was the yummiest. A must have again! We would highly recommend Saffron - A Taste Of The Exotic. We are returning again before going home. Jenn, one of the owners, was very welcoming and attentive. She exemplifies passion in her work!

The food was excellent for the price. Classic done properly. There was a bit of a lineup when I arrived at 9:30 on Sunday morning, but the wait wasn't too long and we were all offered coffee in the meantime.
