Extremely extremely slow drive through, and today I learned that their lobby on the door says it closes at 9 PM but they lock the doors at 8:40 Just a crappy spot to be honest And inside is usually messy

Drive thru line moved at a reasonable pace; food was not hot, and staff didn't greet me or thank me for my business.

Food was fine. But it literally took a half an hour with 3 cars in front of us in the drive thru. Not sure what was wrong.

couldn't miss "Pittsburgh's most famous sandwich" while in town…read more They have a bunch of locations so it's pretty easily accessible. We walked about 10 min and change from our hotel to the strip district location. It is a small little place made up for by its attention grabbing wall art of famous and loved Pittsburgh figures. The menu is easy enough. Pick a protein (there are many options) to go on the sandwich which is the standard cole slaw, cheese, tomato, and fries tucked between two slices of thick, soft white bread. As a vegetarian, I was pleased to see a vegetarian option with both a cheese and an egg and cheese version. GF and I shared and it is not a bad sandwich to share bc the thing is massive. That isn't to say that I couldn't have eaten another half bc I absolutely could have. The thing is so large and busting with ingredients I wondered how I could fit it for a bite but where there's a will, there's a way. It was excellent. What a great combo of flavors and textures. I only wish there was more cheese. I do feel like with the cheese version there should be more than what is in the version with meat but call me crazy. I could eat that every day.

Medium loudness, mainly from people's conversations. Went to bar area, little to right of entering and ordered. Asked for their special and the asked for the type of meat. Didn't know so they suggested I try pastrami and the capicola. Ordered and waited maybe 10-15min and they gave us our order in a big paper bag. It was heavy! Opened up one of the sandwiches to share and nicely the sandwich was cut in half already. Just need to tear the paper wrapper to separate. As you may know, sandwich has Cole slaw and fries on it, so it's thick. Preferred the capicola over the pastrami. Decent amount of meat on the sandwich but waaaayyy more fries than anything. The close slaw adds some crunch and tartness to a pretty mild sandwich. Overall, food was underwhelming. I'd stop by again but for some kielbasa or something ethnic. Otherwise I'd probably just try another nearby place to eat.

They gave us a few recommendations, and while we were waiting for our milkshakes, they even let us try some of their chocolate bark. I was honestly surprised by how good it was. The peanut butter marshmallow chocolate bark was my favorite, and my boyfriend ended up buying a few while I was in the restroom haha. We sat for a long time actually waiting for a server to come speak with us and get our drink order. So long, despite not being a full place, that I told my wife I wanted to get up and leave. I was very, very frustrated. I had been glancing at their menu on Yelp and saw some tacos that I wanted to try, unfortunately the restaurant cut their menu back to only five tacos to choose from. I'm guessing to simplify things for the Draft crowd that they anticipated coming. Our server finally came to take our drink order and after so long we knew what we wanted. The server wasn't exactly friendly or attentive. We started with street corn as an appetizer, it was awesome. My wife had the chicken tacos and didn't like them. She said they were mushy and had an off flavor that she didn't enjoy. I had the birria tacos. They were not bad, they didn't come with any sauce/juice as all the other birria tacos I've ever had typically come with. I have to say, I was disappointed in the menu being reduced and other than the street corn app., just wasn't impressed. The service was not good, my wife's taco were bad and my were okay. I'll not be rushing back unfortunately.

I've tried all the heavy hitters in the slightly-elevated-burgers tier (the one above McDonaldss and BK). In N Out, Five Guys, and Super Duper. I'd say Super Duper and Shake Shack are the top two. I got the SmokeShack double with bacon, cheese, and cherry peppers. Yummy. The sweetness and smokiness add a bit of depth that In N Out doesn't have. Would repeat. If I was feeling voracious I would've opted for the cheese fries! But decided didn't want to feel too heavy/gassy on the flight :) They even have bottled sparkling water, which I got. The wait wasn't bad, and they have a small, dedicated seating area -- but you could easily take the food anywhere you want. Recommended when dining at the airport. Would repeat.

This is not a veggie burger - they don't have one - but grilled onions, peppers, tomatoes, lettuce and whatever else you want (I add cheese, pickles and condiments) and it's so delicious and really scratches that fast-comfort-food itch. I also ordered a "little fry" which as always spills out of the cup times about two. The fries are cooked in cholesterol-free oil, if that makes you feel any better about your life choices. This location is always really busy at lunchtime so I generally place my order online, pick it up (you have to ask as they are holding it behind the pickup counter), and bring it back to work where I take it to the cafeteria instead of my desk because the greasy bag is so smelly and shameful. But satisfying. One noteworthy thing on this visit was that they now had ketchup packets for taking with my takeout order. Previously if you wanted ketchup, you needed to go to the dispenser and fill cups, which is not my favorite for timeliness or the number of people handling these.
