It's McDonald's. Food came out quick and tasty. Prepared to order. Not sure how friendly the staff is since I used a kiosk. read more

McDonald's - a coffee shop with a christmas tree in the background - Burgers Near Me - Peru, New York

I went to McDonald's this evening to grab a burger , fries and chocolate shake. The whole order was horrible, the fries were rubbery, the cheese burger was thin and dry, what was considered a milkshake was a thin liquid with whipped cream on top and had a taste that I can't even explain it was so odd. I remember milkshakes being made out of ice cream and milk, this tasted nothing like ice cream and milk. I don't have any idea what I tasted but I tossed it down the sink. If I had felt better I would have went back and asked 'What the heck is this ?' I now remember why I hadn't been to Peru McDonalds for quite some time. I will now never return , no more chances. BTW: The cost was way too high compared to Burger King. Definitely will tell friends and relatives about this experience. read more

My husband and I stopped at McDonald's for a bathroom break and a quick bite to eat before getting back on the road to Montreal. The women's bathroom was a bit dirty with toilet paper on the floor and pee on the seats. Of course, I think it was because a boy (8 or 9) was in the bathroom with his mom. He couldn't aim if he wanted to and apparently he didn't know how to flush the toilet, because when I went in after, I saw the evidence. But besides the pee on the seat and the lack of a flush, there was no way the toilet paper on the floor was his doing (or else there wouldn't have been any pee on the seat). Ordering was a breeze with the self checkout kiosks but with my luck, a giant bus came with a bunch of teenagers. I had to quickly put in my order before they started (which led to a few forgotten items) because that was going to take forever to get our order. And it did take forever, though we ordered before the kids. The cashier was calm and collected during the mayhem but you could definitely see the panic set in her eyes...and with only one cash register, I applaud her. The food was okay but the fries tasted off. My husband said it tasted like they used a different oil than the other McDonald's we've been to. This McDonald's is fine for a quick visit but I wouldn't go out of my way to find this location again. read more

I haven't been to McDonalds in a long time ! I love the Big Mac every now and then !!! We got a large order of fries and they were terrible ! Cold and tasted old and dry !!!! I was so disappointed ! Friendly service but food was terrible read more

Is this the best McDonald's on Earth? It's possible. I've been to franchises in America, Switzerland, and France--never have I experienced such quality of service or food. We ordered off the 1,2,3 dollar menu and were able to get three burgers, fries, and two drinks for under $15. Beyond that, the food was brought to our table with a smile and expression of happiness to be assisting us. I know McDonalds food is standardized, but I have to say this was the McDonalds of my youth--something tasted better. The burger was delicious. The nuggets were well fried. The coke was crispy. The tables were clean. The space was calm and inviting. All in all a great experience. The manager of this place deserves to be moved to corporate offices. read more

Got a fish sandwich 2 days ago, we all know it's smaller, ok, who cares, but when it comes to my cheese on a fish sandwich, would like a full slice of cheese not a half a slice, I have pics, not only half slice, looks like it's been on the bun for sometime, I will no longer be ordering from McDonald's, you guys have gotten cheap and charge more. Won't let me upload the pics. read more

Normally, I try to avoid eating fast food, but since we needed to make a quick bathroom break and gas fill up we jumped off the highway and hit a McD's that was off the exit. It's a basic McD's. Looked clean enough and the bathroom was acceptable. Drive thru at this location. Decided to take a break from driving and grab a snack before heading out on the road. I bravely tried their lobster roll. Yes, McD's here serves up a lobstah roll sandwich! Never seen that before in one of these. Surprisingly, it was actually pretty good and I didn't get food poisoning. Of course the fatty in me got the whole meal with a soda and large fries. Damn, those fries are like crack. Diet soda, because I'm watching my figure and getting my beach body ready. Gotta fit in that speedo! read more

During a drive from Westchester NY up to Quebec City, Canada, I needed to make a quick stop for gas; get a quick bite to eat, and make a bathroom stop. Found this very busy McDonald's close to the highway exit, and have to say that it was excellent as McDonald's go. The staff were were proficient and the premises clean and tidy. Had a breakfast meal that was well cooked and prepared. read more

Open late and if you ask me.... best McDonald's that does not serve breakfast! that right, no breakfast! Super awesome to see a McDonald's become to so healthy and health conscious. Also you're not allowed to have soda until after 1PM. strange right? That's what makes this fast food joint so unique! read more

McDonald's - You tell me.... - Burgers Near Me - Peru, New York

Randomly stopped here for a meal on my way to Quebec. To my pleasant surprise, the staff here were so friendly and eager to serve. They even let me know that the breakfast items I ordered would take a while since they make them to order. If I lived in this town I would frequent this place regularly. Bon Voyage! read more

Its McDonald's - not fine dining. The morning manager is rude and snaps at you if a problem arises. Our breakfast business was lost after the last bitchy incident. Luckily we don't visit there often. read more

I love the French fries and the buttermilk chicken burger! The double cheese burger is the best and fills you up!

I never eat fast food, but I do crave it in two situations: right before a flight and on long road trips. I decided to drive from NJ to Quebec's Winter Carnival and thought it was a straight forward drive: I-87 all the way to Canada and then two highways after that. Little did I know that there is a 75 mile stretch on I-87 where there are no restaurants at rest stops or specific signs about which restaurants are on exits (only that teasing fork / knife / plate sign). We left at 5am, it was 10:24am, and all I wanted was a McGriddle with Sausage, Egg, and Cheese. Luckily, we came across the first specific sign on Exit 35 Peru, NY for a McDonald's (I thought it was a mirage) and we made it before they stopped serving breakfast. read more

We stopped into this McDonalds on the way home from Canada. It is relatively new and the bathrooms were very clean. Darcy who took my order was very friendly and was very attentive when taking my order. She was also very helpful in giving me instructions on the drink station. Took forever to give us our order. Then made us pull up for a small drink that came with my sons kids meal. 5 minutes later my husband had go in to get the drink. It was sitting on counter. They were to lazy to bring it to us at the window. Never going back! read more

Always make sure you check your receipt and food when you get it, they are rude and do not care about customer service. I've had multiple bad experiences at the McDonald's on Cornelia street. For example I mobile ordered and I went in side to pick up my food and I heard 3 different workers complain that I ordered 3 orders of the donut fries. Then 20 minutes later when I got my food they told me I had to wait more because they had dropped some of my food on the floor and had to remake it for me. On top of that there has been multiple times where I've gone threw the drive threw and had them repeat my order for me, only to check my bag when I received it to find 2-3 things wrong or missing. I've also gotten cold/hard food multiple times as well. The ONLY time I'll ever eat here is if I'm in a rush and it's a last minute decision. This is the worst fast food restaurant in Plattsburgh New York. If you care about service, do not go there. read more
