McDonalds is always great. I usually go in on Sunday, before church and have the big breakfast with hotcakes. That way I am getting 3 pancakes. I love pancakes. Then with the eggs and sausage I make a sandwich. Then I have the hashbrown on the side. McDonalds coffee is usually good. I've only been there once that the coffee had a bad flavor. Their Frappe's are also very good. I was kind of dissapointed that they didn't have the egg nog shakes this past year and don't know what was up with that maybe they can do better this coming holiday season. I am hoping they will have their Shamrock shakes for St. Patrick's day this year. Overall though we have a very good McDonalds in Oskaloosa. read more

This McDonald's is one of the worst McDonalds I've been to or had. Drive through is slow and they forget items I've order, I was given cold chicken nuggets and fries. And when I ordered DoorDash from here I'm still missing things or been given the wrong drink, I've gotten Dr Pepper instead of coke a cola. Also people have no respect for the drive through one they cut everybody who's been there before them. They cut into the second order station read more

McDonald's: they were speedy today, but prices on the drive up menu do NOT match price you are charged. When I called attention to the fact the polite clerk was unable to help. I asked to speak to the manager who replied she was unable to do anything about it. I'm beginning to understand the negative press they've received read more

Here's a tongue-in-cheek draft of a deliberately "bad Yelp review" written in an exaggerated Old English style. I'll keep it humorous and archaic, without being mean-spirited about schizophrenia itself: --- Lo, Hearken to Mine Woeful Tale Verily, I did enter yon House of McDonald's with belly afire and thirst unquenched, hoping for meats betwixt bread and a chalice of sweet syrup'd cola. Yet mine sojourn was undone by a flame-haired damsel, clad in bandana most villainous, who didst comport herself as a knave most foul. She spake with tongue sharp as serpent's fang, casting scorn upon mine humble request for nuggets numbered ten. "Thou shalt wait, peasant," quoth she, though nary another soul did stand before me in line. Such discourtesy! The fries were limp, the sauce but a paltry smear, and the air reek'd of despair. When I did beseech for napkins, the red-crown'd harpy did glare as if I had ask'd for her kingdom entire. Forsooth, never hath mine heart felt so slighted in a hall of burgers. I give but one star, and that star falleth swiftly into shadow. Thus endeth mine review. Also she doesn't know what a comma is... GO BACK TO REHAB, BUD read more

Horrid. that's all i can say. service has taken so long and it's 10:15 at night. terrible. jus terrible.

Terrible customer service, when ordering in the app and doing curbside pick up, be prepared to at least a 15 minute wait if not longer. Always check the order because list likely it is wrong/missing items it maid incorrect. Go and ask them to correct the mistake and it seems like it is a huge hassle. Go 15 minutes to Pella, Ia and it's always correct, it s 15 plus minute wait and no rude workers. read more

Had to wait 15 mins for food in the curbside. They brought out the wrong drink at first and the food was cold. Was unable to issue a refund.

Went to mcdonald's for a quick and cheap meal for dinner. Didn't get one of the things we order... We called back there didn't answer the first time. Called again answered and said she can make it for us. We realized that they also didn't make our other foods how we asked so we called again to see if maybe we can get it fixed as well. We called 4 TIMES!!! no answer. finally they answered and the only thing they could do is send us one card for a free meal.. don't think we will be going back after this. read more

We ordered 4 cheeseburgers and asked for them plain. 2 fully plain with just cheese. The other two plain with Mac Sauce. Meaning still wanting cheese just no pickles, mustard, ketchup, or onions. The first two that we got them they were not plain. Then we asked to have them remade, which they got it right. But then the other two were made without cheese and without the Mac sauce too. Like it's a cheeseburger c'mon there's supposed to be cheese on it. So I asked them to remake it with just the Mac sauce on it, which then led to a coworker being snotty and rude to me and my friend. Like if you have to remake 7 orders back to back something must be wrong. I wouldn't come here. read more

So, a friend and I decided to stop at McDonalds today after our trip to WalMart because we were on the move. We each ordered a Little Mac (never had one and wanted to try it). Well, we received our food and went to my moms house. When we got there to eat, I opened up my sandwich and thought, "man, this feels really small." I open up the sandwich, THERE'S NO DAMN PATTY!!!! Also, it wasn't even a Little Mac, it was a regular hamburger just with no patty. ‍ So, we made the trip back to McDonalds to tell them what happened. The manager didn't even bother to say sorry for starters. She was also very persistent about getting both sandwiches back even though Kylee took a bite out of hers already and her sandwich was right. She told us to pull up to the second window and she will give me another sandwich. I told her I would like a McChicken as well and she made me pay for it, but whatever. I got back to my moms house, my Little Mac was correct, but I unwrapped my McChicken to eat it and THERE WAS A HAMBURGER PATTY ON IT INSTEAD OF A CHICKEN PATTY!!!!!! How stupid can one place be???? Instantly I was so baffled and pissed. I called them this time instead of going BACK for a third time.. I asked them to speak to the manager and it was the manager that answered the phone. I explained what just happened ONCE AGAIN. She put me on hold. Again, she didn't tell me that she was sorry or anything. Explained that there is a new person in the kitchen. (Do they even have training there? I don't think it's difficult to tell the difference between a hamburger patty and a chicken patty). I don't care if there's a new person back there, there's no excuse for that said person messing up TWICE like they did and for the manager handling that situation the way she did. Absolutely uncalled for. She was rude and unprofessional. I'm sorry, but these McDonald workers wanting $15 an hour, but can't even put the main ingredient to their sandwiches on the sandwich??? Over my dead body!!!! I'm concerned about what this world is coming to. Someone please explain... read more

Service is terribly slow. Having to wait almost 10 minutes for food to be brought to my car while watching car and more cars pass me while I'm waiting for my food/. Absolutely a joke. I do not eat at this location for a reason. 1 star is way to many to give read more

I'm giving it one star because I cannot give it less. We have visited this location multiple times recently, and the service in the dining area without a line takes 20 minutes to get your food. The staff are consistently fighting with each other, and others are standing around doing nothing. This restaurant is a horrible reflection on a nice community. read more

We through the drive-thru today and ordered a Happy Meal for my grandson. I ordered a cheeseburger with meat and cheese only. I received a bun with ketchup and a pickle. They made WITHOUT meat and cheese. While its not uncommon for orders to be wrong (50/50), This was ridiculous. When I called I received the standard "we will replace" garbage if you come up and get it. I was also told by Missy that they have customers who special order cheeseburgers without meat and cheese! Right! I think I will go to McDonalds today and order a bun and pay the price of a cheeseburger! Order #1596, 11:41 am 3/22/19 read more

Horrible service someone even took a bite out of my bread, we are in need of a Burger King.

Very slow service. Had to wait 15 minutes because they said they ran out of Fries and then the order was still wrong. If all they sold was one plain hamburger they would still get the order wrong. One star is still to high for them. read more

Oskaloosa Mcdonalds if full of fun energized people who try their best to accommodate everyone in a timely manner. Some people need to understand that it takes time and preparation to make food properly even with that they still make mistakes because there are so many things going on at once. Plus there are constantly new trainees who are learning how to properly prepare the items that are ordered. Fast food work is more than flipping burgers and frying fries there are so many steps and precautions that have to be taken by everyone working. I have had bad experiences at Mcdonalds and I have had amazing experiences at Mcdonalds just like I have had anywhere else. read more
