I have been going to this McDonald's in Lynbrook for years and have never had an issue with any of the staff from those who prepare the food, the cashiers who take the orders, the employees who bring the food to your table or the managers on duty who are always available to help in any way they can. Food was good and prepared quickly. Place was clean and most of the employees seemed nice and friendly. One of the female managers was being really mean to the employees though. I couldn't get her name, but I've seen her behave quite negatively on multiple occasions. It was uncomfortable seeing how she was yelling at the hard working employees. I really think they need some change in management. There was another male manager, and he was super nice. You could tell the employees were happy to work with him. read more

This is an okay, sorta spacious McDonald's. The seats seem newer. There's tvs playing the news. There's a playplace for the children. Last time I came here the service was pretty slow at times. The only positive about this location is the play area for the kids. That's it. The service is horrendous. Not only is there a lack of command of the English language, they are RUDE. Each of the front counter employees acts like they are doing you a hefty favor by serving you. Terrible attitude. Every single time we go there, there is a mistake on our order. When you nicely point out something missing (or wrong), again with the attitude. One time, I came back to the counter to ask for one of the items I did not receive, and the girl proceeded to outright ignore me. Turned out she was coming off her shift, but zero acknowledgement that she even heard me, much less asking a fellow coworker to take care of the issue. They are almost always out of those little paper cups to put ketchup in. That has been consistent with a majority of our visits. Again with the attitude when the counter staff gives you a cup lid to put your ketchup on. I hope Mickey D's corporate is looking at these reviews. Or at least the franchise owner. Or perhaps they are banking on the fact that us folks with kids will come back regardless of how terrible the experience is. If you don't have to, stay far away! read more

During this quarantine McDonald's was offering free breakfast or lunch for essential workers. I work at a nursing home full-time. I was on my way to work when I figured I would stop and get a little something for myself before I go in. I pull into the drive-through at McDonald's (oceanside, NY) I said hello to the screen and no one responded. I pull around to the last window and see three girls huddled in the corner because they didn't want to take my order. If they're hiding because they don't wanna give out free food to essential workers then they shouldn't be offering it or working there period. It's not about the money because I could've easily paid for my stuff it's the fact that they offer but then this happens it's sad. This generation needs to be a little bit more respectful and understanding to what people are truly going through. The least you can do is put a smile on someone's face! The food sure isnt what it used to be!!!!! This McDonalds if i am not mistaken was the first to open in Nassau County. The product and the service have taken a downward transformation. My experience at 3am at the drive thru left me disappointed and dissatisfied. Order: 2 quarter pounders with cheese without pickle, and with extra onion and extra ketchup. [this used to be known as a "quarter grill" order back in the day. And i remember getting my burger hot and fresh from the server at the counter ,Thats when the QuarterPounder was a brand new item. Anyway, when i pulled up to the drive thru order screen i asked the server if they can make the burger exactly that way, [i asked because it was 3am and i figured if they cant cook it i wont order it], She did not say no, just told me the cost and to drive up to the window. I got my burgers, pulled over to have my late night supper. Sadly the burgers were lukewarm at best, and the buns literally fell apart in my hands as i ate, [which tells me either they were stale or ,more likely they were under the heat lamp for who knows how long]. I wont be returning for this product any more. I will be forwarding a complaint to McDonalds. Apparently they have gotten fat n happy over the years and decided to tell the loyal customers who made them into such a success that they have abandoned us, giving us this kind of low quality product for a price alot higher then when i used to get it and it tasted good! I understand that McDonaldsCorp owns this location now, it used to be owned by Kidder-Hunt Management when it was a franchise store, maybe thats an explanation of the difference in quality of service. Hunt Enterprises still owns 27 long island McDonalds but Oceanside is not one of them. I noticed a difference in the quality of service in TacoBell as well. All of the long island locations are company owned, most others in jersey and other new york areas are franchises. The long island locations do not provide the the same quality of service as the privately owned stores. read more

The fries have no salt. If you order a large, they fill it up with just about the same amount of fries as a small. The line took forever. I usually like Mcdonalds, but this one is just terrible. read more

No one here speaks English so when I tried to complain the dumb teenager working the drive thru pretty much ignored me and the Spanish woman at the second window ignored me and acted like she didn't understand me. They gave me the wrong food and charged me more for what I ordered. I will never go here again. read more

We were in the mood for fast food, this happens maybe once every 90-100 days. The local Burger King is being renovated and because of prior screw-ups at the local Wendy's we decided on McDonald's. We tried Burger-Fi once, which was three times too many and the same for Phat Daddy. The drive thru ordering went well, we checked our food to make sure we got what we asked for - it was. We got home and started to eat the french fries, a McDonald's hallmark - they didn't disappoint. The burgers' combined aroma was long on promise and SHORT on flavor. The fresh hamburger buns had more flavor than the "beef". Then again, it's fast food so my expectations are low to begin with and I wasn't disappointed. read more

The worst mcdonalds ever... I ordered the jalepeno burger the jalepenos were at best two days old.....hard and crunchy... Horrible. The staff is rude, they were more worried about their own food then the food of the customers.... Stale fries, horrible experience.. Pathetic! While a customer was discussing to the clerk that she got his order wrong, the manager decided to serve me. I ordered a Chicken bacon Mc Wrap and a 4 piece McNugget. She tells me $10.61. I questioned the amount because a McWrap is $4 and change and the nuggets $1 and change. She told me I asked for 2 wraps. I explained I wanted 1 bacon and 4 nuggets. I'm watching her ring up Ranch wrap. I told her 3 more times "Bacon"! she looked me square in the eyes and Yes I know Bacon. When the order came I got Ranch. She turned her back to me as I call out to her. She finally turned around and I said this is ranch! She then told me there was no need to pound my food on the counter!! HUH?!! She turned around so I could not see her name tag and said some in Spanish to her crew. All eyes were on me. Another clerk gave me the correct order! .This was today at 11:30 am. On June 2nd, 2014, my boyfriend visited this location to purchase food. As my receipt state 2:11AM in which the food was order, he ordered 1 Kids Meal 6 Piece Chicken Nuggets meal, Crispy Chicken Bacon Ranch, and a Medium fry. As there was no line the food took up to 10 minutes. He arrived home in approximately 5 min as McDonalds is around the corner from our home. While opening the bag both orders of fries were cold as well as the chicken for the salad. I immediately drove over to this location, as I waited an additional 10 minutes. I waited at the window as well as the main screen, before calling the location asking if I can place my order. While sitting at the window I saw a guy walk right pass without acknowledging me. Now it has been about 15 minutes, he came to the window I handed him my recipe and stated my food was cold. He then told a women and she came to the window telling me that the food was fresh and she wasn't going to give me fresh food because its now 2:50AM nor was she going to give me a refund. She then took the food and never returned to the window, I called the store 3 times and no one answer. As I saw a guy and a baby in the store who clearly doesn't work there, I beeped the horn several times as the guy saw me and continued to ignore me. She later returned to the window asking me "what is it that you want me to do" I told her " simply remake the food or give me a refund" she said "there's no fresh chicken for the salad" and returned to the window with a refund. Which clearly states that she knowingly gave me uncrushed food but insisted that the food she had given me was fresh. Far by the worst customer service I have ever received ! read more
