Usually the customer service is good but this time I was completely disrespected to the point where he yelled at the window and cussed us out. Told us he said 2nd window, which he didn't, continues to yell at us out the 2nd window like it was our mistake and didn't even have the decency to apologize even if it was a simple misunderstanding. This is literally one of the worst McDonald's I've ever been too. It sucks because this is literally the only fast food restaurant in the whole town of North Manchester and its horrible. Wait times are ridiculous and the food isn't much better. I went tonight around 10:25pm and waited 5 minutes at the speaker and waited 18 minutes for my food after getting my receipt. I waited EIGHTEEN minutes for a McDouble, McChicken and a medium fry. My fries weren't even cooked! I literally received white, soggy, cold fries. Luckily I had my overfilled sticky pop to wash what few I ate down. Based on the other reviews I would say its safe to say you should save your money and find somewhere else to go. Arrived to the drive-thru after 8pm. Order taken pretty timely. Receipt of food was NOT so timely. I was asked to pull forward. Waited and watched cars behind me in the drive-thru get their food. Four cars pulled out of the line are still waiting. Finally, went inside to wait even longer. Received my food after giving up my receipt. Requested my receipt back to be told I was yelling. "May I please have my receipt also?" is what I said In a normal voice. Found out afterwards the individual was the manger. Rude customer service along with poor food service delivery. Order serval difference burgers and guess what!?!?? They were supposed to be all the same except two! And from the pic I bet you can guess what wasn't supposed to be on them and if you can't it was supposed to be NO PICKLES!!!!! And my wife got PICKLES! One job! YOU HAD ONE JOB! And failed yet again!! And to think that McDonald's employees complain about making minimum wage! LOL you deserve much less because 7/10 the food is either wrong, COLD, or you're waiting 20min even inside with one person in front of you to get your food and forget about the drive thru because you'll be in line for 45min to get cold or incorrect orders! This place has went from a solid 5 to a ZERO IF I COULD GIVE YOU A ZERO STAR I WOULD!! Without a doubt, this is the worst McDonald's I have ever encountered. The employees act with indifference to all human interaction. One visit out of four, I have received a "have a nice day" from only one employee. I have worked fast food before, I know it's not a fabulous job and you don't necessarily enjoy your time there, but you are paid to put on a smiling face for the company and to treat customers with respect. I am truly baffled how this behavior is not brought up to them more often. On top of the awful service I have consistently received, every single sandwich I have ever bought has had a disgusting old crusty bun, hard on the edges! McChicken with extra mayo turned into a mayo sandwich with an old, soggy slice of chicken. My all time favorite McDonald's dinner, the Southwest Salad, had wilted old lettuce rendering it inedible. Granted, this is a fast food establishment and I don't expect to have a 5 star meal, I just expect this particular restaurant to rise to the standards of the others I have visited. Fresh food is always better, I WILL wait 5 minutes for a fresh sandwich, especially if I have received friendly and polite service. If you love to eat cold McNuggets and day old burgers, have at it. I actually gave this store a one star only because I couldn't give any lower. We were traveling through the area to take our daughter to camp. Used the app to order ahead, pulled in and selected my parking spot on the app. Entered my spot number and the app had an error that the payment could not be processed. This had happened recently at our local McDonald's and when we went in, the payment had already come through and the local McDonald's happily fixed the issue and gave us our food. I expected the same thing to happen at this McDonald's. Unfortunately, I was wrong. We went in and no one acknowledged us for about two minutes. Finally, we flagged someone down and asked to speak to a manager. The manager finally came to the front, clearly upset that we had disturbed her from the beginning. I nicely explained the situation. Showed her the app, the error I was getting, explaining if I press "finish" again, it would only charge me again. I showed her my bank app, showing where the funds clearly came out of the account and that I realized it was pending however, if she could cancel the order, I could pay and wait for the funds to come back in my account. She bluntly said, "there's nothing I can do for you. Wait for the money to come back in within 1-2 days. ". Of course, because I worked at McDonald's for four years and also had worked as a customer service trainer in another line of business, this did not go over well. I asked if she could call someone who could cancel the order so I could reorder. She said there was no one to call for problems with the app. I asked for her manager's name and number. She said the manager would be there tomorrow and I could call the store and ask for Kailea. I asked if she could write her name and phone number down. She said no, that I had a phone and I could put it in that. I got snarky and explained that I was NOT putting it in my phone and she would need to write it down. She stomped off and came back with a napkin with the name Kailea and a phone number without an area code (this is quite a ways away from my home, so I'm not in the same area code). I asked her if she could write down the last name of her manager and the area code. She said she didn't have a pen. I must have had an awful look on my face at that point because she slogged off for a pen. When she came back I asked for the district manager's name. She said they didn't have a district manager as they were privately owned. I asked for the owner's name. She gave it to me and I asked her to write that down as well. She said she cannot give out any contact info for that person, though. So I asked her if the phone number online for customer complaints was the correct corporate complaint number. She advised me she didn't know but that. They weren't corporate anyway so it wouldn't matter if I called them. She again refused to make any of the transaction right and told me she could do nothing else for us. This McDonalds has gotten horrible. I have waited in this drive thru recently from anywhere to 25-32 mins. Right now writing this review I'm at the 29 minute mark. Cars are always backed all the way out to the highway. Once you get to the window you can see your food sitting there and they continue to stand around and talk or play on their phones or will be cleaning instead of getting the food out out the window. It's never fresh or even warm. Forget about going there before having to be to work at 6am. They leave you waiting and when asking about your order you get attitude. The one manager here is always SO rude! She acts as if you are troubling her. I have worked at this McDonald's during high school and it was never this bad. I have coffee in the mornings with local residents. Since the remodel the temperature is routinely in the mid 60s or below. The few days this summer it was the most comfortable was when the air conditioning went down. People are putting on hats and coats as they come inside at this location. I don't understand why they want to run off business customers and have them speak poorly of the business. I do understand that our group is not a big money maker for them, but I would think keeping customers happy would be important. read more
