Kason a young man was helpful engaging and when he announced the orders he had a calm pleasant voice. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. I don't remember any music, so it wasn't too loud. I loved the patty melt with rye bread, cheese and grilled onions. The only complaint is that the bread is so thin that the sandwich is disproportioned. My husband had the hotdog but he would have preferred a bun. When you tried to order them through the app, you received a "we're having difficulties" message. When you remove the deal, the order goes through just fine. This is not the first time that this has happened for me. Another time when this happened, I was able to order the deal at the Fort Scott Sonic. My guess is the owner of the Nevada doesn't want to participate and offer these deal to their customers, so they hide behind "technical difficulties". Our Sonic is also significantly more expensive as other Sonics. I had an order ready to purchase in the app recently, and I realized the location was set to a different Sonic. When I updated to the Nevada Sonic, it raised the price of my order by over 20%!

I grew up with Casey's General Stores. They are a staple of so many Midwest small towns. Their…read morepizza is really good, and not just by gas station standards. Their pizza can stand on it's own merit! There are a couple issues that this Casey's (on Austin) in Nevada needs to address. The first issue is the lack of security cameras in the parking lot. My son-in-laws truck was stolen around Thanksgiving from this location, and I was genuinely shocked to find out that Casey's has very little security coverage in the parking lot here. Security cameras are such an inexpensive way to protect your employees and customers, I just don't understand why you wouldn't make this investment. This property is one of the nicest and newest convenience stores in the area, yet other local gas stations/convenience stores that are decades older have much better security camera coverage in the parking lots. My second issue is the fact that the staff frequently congregates at the front door and smokes. I see employees at other Casey's smoking in the front of the store, but several feet away from the front door. At the Casey's on Austin, they often stand directly in front of the door. The pizza is consistently good here, though! And the bakery items are always fresh. The staff is typically friendly and helpful.
