It's a McDonald's. The food is what it is, and in the past decade, they've messed up my order a few times. Most of the time it's right, though, and comes hot and ready - and there are just times when nothing hits like a McDonald's cheeseburger. I mainly go for breakfast, though, as they have the best fast-food breakfast biscuit in town. The iced tea is fantastic, too. As I mentioned, sometimes my order is incorrect, but they've always quickly corrected it. I've seen reviews criticizing some employees' appearances, which seems pretty lame. I've never met anyone there who didn't seem clean, and I've never had anyone be rude to me - most of them are pretty friendly. That seems like enough to ask for from workers. The only thing that will really drop this review down is the wait. Lately, if you arrive at the wrong time, you can end up with a lengthy wait, and often get asked to move to a different parking spot. This doesn't enrage me like it seems to do to some people, but it is frustrating when you're in a hurry - and let's be honest, that's usually the reason you're at McDonald's in the first place. I can't really talk about the ambiance, as I don't think I've ever actually been inside. From the outside, it looks...well, like a McDonald's. read more

Their pizza can stand on it's own merit! There are a couple issues that this Casey's (on Austin) in Nevada needs to address. The first issue is the lack of security cameras in the parking lot. My son-in-laws truck was stolen around Thanksgiving from this location, and I was genuinely shocked to find out that Casey's has very little security coverage in the parking lot here. Security cameras are such an inexpensive way to protect your employees and customers, I just don't understand why you wouldn't make this investment. This property is one of the nicest and newest convenience stores in the area, yet other local gas stations/convenience stores that are decades older have much better security camera coverage in the parking lots. My second issue is the fact that the staff frequently congregates at the front door and smokes. I see employees at other Casey's smoking in the front of the store, but several feet away from the front door. At the Casey's on Austin, they often stand directly in front of the door. The pizza is consistently good here, though! And the bakery items are always fresh. The staff is typically friendly and helpful.
