Our visit here was fine. We ordered our food ahead, including chicken nuggets, fries, and Happy Meals, and the food was ready in a timely fashion, and came out hot. There's a large dining room, with a play place off to the side. read more

Drive thru service was horrible. I placed a mobile order for pick up in the drive through and was given the wrong food. When I informed the man at the window he told me I shouldn't have come to the drive thru. After 3 attempts and showing them the correct receipt they still could not understand what I needed. This is the worst McDonalds I've ever been to. The drive through was so backed up (it wasn't even a busy meal time) so I parked and went in and it took FOREVER. It was super dirty. The employees were braiding each other's hair, standing around and walking around in circles. I have been going to this McDonalds for the last 10 years. I was eating here twice a day but the food has gotten so bad and they intentionally messed with the food. I sent a message to McDonalds. I'm not coming here anymore. I should have read the reviews before coming here. They are slow about opening. They need to get here earlier. What happened? They are supposed to open at 5:30 am during weekdays. So, I got here at 5:35 am and drove up to the drive thru. They wouldn't answer me. So, I drove up to the window to see what is wrong. The staff inside is just walking around and ignoring people at the drive thru. And furthermore, they are trying to ignore me. A rude staff member finally comes to window and states "the system is down'. " It will be 10 minutes ". Whatever that means. First of all, I used the McDonald's App to order and prepay. So, I can't just drive off. Therefore, I am forced to wait for the about 15 minutes for my hash browns and sausage McGriddle. Additionally, I can hear staff inside arguing about what I ordered. If it takes 10 minutes for the system to come up, then, get here 10 minutes earlier. That means get up 10 minutes earlier and leave your house 10 minutes earlier. In other words, if you open for business at 5:30 am, then get here 5:15 to 5:20 am. Then, everything will be ready at 5:30am. Anyway, I'm not coming here no more. I'm going down the street to Chick-fil-A from now on where I get 5 star customer service. read more

No one working at this McDonald's cares about anything at all. The service sucks, never smile, they don't even look at you. Just went in to get something fast and it took longer than it would have if we went to a sit down restaurant. We waited at least 25 minutes and the food they gave us was cold. This is the worst McDonald's I have ever been to in every way possible. Oh, and also this- multiple employees were in the parking lot washing their car with a blender pitcher they were filling up from the food area. It looked like a piece of equipment meant to be used in the food prep area. What a joke this place is. read more

This McDonald's is consistent like all the others. We visited for a quick meal before replacing my hot water tank. We had a long day ahead of us, so we needed to get a quick, cheap meal in. I've lived in Fairlawn for a year and a half and every time I come to this McDonalds they never answer the drive thru. I've worked in fast food before so I know it does suck. But answering the drive thru is like the easiest thing to do. It's also annoying when ur behind another customer and they are just sitting there in silence waiting. I'm not sure if their head sets aren't working well. But sometimes when ur in the drive thru u need to say hello to get their attention. I don't have a problem with the quality of food. Sit in drive thru 130 pm fine it takes a bit can be expected when line is full of cars but when you get French fries that are too old to eat and ice coffee that tastes like milk and Carmel very little coffee it is annoying to have to then go inside and ask for fresh fries and remake coffee. Then find out that they put ice in ice coffee machine since not many people order it and that's why coffee is the way it is because it's already watered down because the machine does not make coffee cold u less it's iced. My goodness!!! A smile and being nice really does go a long way. The staff were super rude and arrogant. The lady who took my order got mad because I didn't order something basic and easy for her to put into the system so when I changed something very little you could tell in her voice that she was not happy about it and had to make changes. The service here is awful. You will order in the DT then most likely have to tell them again multiple times at both windows what you ordered because they got it wrong the first 5 times. It is a very rare occasion that I give any business 1 star but I'm pretty upset right now and as understanding as I am as a former business owner I don't understand this. So I spent $13 and some change, everything was great from the food to the speed of getting my order and friendly woman in the drive thru. The 1 star is because after going through the drive thru and pulling over in the parking lot to eat a passenger in my car went inside and asked for a cup of ice water for his dog and they said only for a fee. I have never had a good experience at this location. The service is terrible. We ordered breakfast at 10:25 and we had a few people that were driving seperate so it took a few mins to order. When we finished ordering and went to sit down the "manager" yelled at us from across the restaurant that she couldn't make any of the food we just paid for. We went for a refund and she then said that she had most of the food. When we still wanted a refund she was extremely annoyed and acted as if it was an inconvenience. Do not recommend. read more

By experience I observe all McDonald's are not equal. Still the legendary excellence in service, quality and consistancy seems to be declining at many. This shop (F5647) (3875 Medina Rd) has problems in poor food consistancy, quality control, and service. The food often is not freash, hot or even prepared correctly. To make matters worse when you tell them about it they offer no fix. They yell at you and tell you your wrong. Even refuse to refund your money. Allot of customers are passing through there drive through only line. As for me I'll look some place else. NOT RECOMMEND. Thumbs down shame on them. read more

The Playground has been "Gutted" with their new remodel. 1/3 the size it was and the new equipment is not safe, has taunt cords, poor cramped placement, toddler kid area is literally under entrance to get trampled by bigger kids. My kid even injured himself 3 times within the hour during normal, well supervised, play. This location has always had the most downright rude and nasty employees with the longest wait times of any fast food restaurant I've been to, but before it always had the best playground so we would go out of our way to take our kids there anyway, now the kids area has just been turned into yet another "cafe" with the kids being an afterthought. Not a smart move removing the one unique stand out feature that enticed parents to bring their kids. With so many other and better food options out there, the playground was literally the only thing that kept our business, and we will NOT be back. It really stinks loosing what was a really great place for our kid to play, but at least my husband and I won't have to eat their food every week now. read more

I have gone to this McDonald's often over the years when I need a quick meal after work because I live in the area. The customer service is unfriendly and nonchalant. The fries are never seasoned or cooked as well as they are at other McDonald's. I have been going to get Happy Meals for my children (now 4 and 6) throughout the years for a surprise and have NEVER gotten a correct order. The never get the chicken nuggets in their bags. Or they don't get the fries. The one time all the items are there, there is no cheese on the cheeseburger when I finally get home. I didnt have time to open the cheeseburger packet in the car line after they forgot and I had to knock on the window, I was just happy it was in the bag after telling them it was missing. I don't understand how I can come once a month, and it's wrong EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Argh!!! I love Happy Meals, and remember the good old days when we actually got our food at the 1950's themed Mcdonalds at Chapel Hill Mall in the 80s. Or maybe that was wrong too and I just didn't know. Always way slow. While the food is your typical McDonald's. food, it's the service that kills this place. Slow lines outside (dual drive through) and the "Modern" service style with the self serve kiosks means I'd expect shorter lines. Nope. And on top of that, I just saw what I believe to be a manager arguing about which drive through window is "Window #2". The guy came into the store after an extended wait at #2. Time for management to take a look at just what is going on with the store and see if the ship can be "righted". read more
