I have been shopping at this Modesto, California McDonald's Restaurant since I'd say, the year 2011 or so and I've always been pleased with how my drive-thru and in-store purchases have been handled/managed. I have not had to return to this McDonald's to complain or request a do-over on any items I have purchased here. Mainly me and my then, best-best-friend Al, took turns "food-running" to this McHenry Avenue location, for breakfast, lunch & dinners while we lived in Modesto, & worked at the VA (Veteran's Affairs Dept., CBOC, Community Based Outpatient Clinic) where shopping is pretty simple as the layout of the city is doable & pretty simple to navigate over-all... Today, we dined on a "SALE" item we simply refused to not take advantage of; in a positive manner of course.... Today's "deal of the Day" was A FREE DOULBLE-CHEESEBURGER if you spent $1!!! What a find, and was located on our iPhone & Android cellular phones is the McDonald's Restaurant downloadable Application or APP. The APP. is FREE; No-Cost and worth the savings and "special's" they run every-single-day........... The burgers were really tasty, & delicious & were "neat & clean" to consume. Not falling apart with the condiments slathered all over the wrapper etc. I was satisfied and felt I could have eaten at least one more but I allowed about 20 minutes to pass and let my stomach get used to the burger it did just ingest........................................ One area of surprise is that they do not have the "BEVERAGE-HELP-YOURSELF" HUGE Machine out in the Lobby area. The inside of the restaurant appears to me, to have had a renovation & looks like Brand~New & Improved.... It looks so professional, is welcoming, clean, clean, clean & unbelievably FAST was the tableside deliveries of not only our two orders but all the other diners. I've never seen a McDonald's Restaurant so WELL ORGANIZED: STAFF including and in particular. Very pleasant too. We asked for refills on our soda as we've gotten so used to the "Complimentary-Help-Yourself" SODA & SODA-LIKE Machine located in the front Lobby, that it felt odd to have to ask for the "Complimentary Refill" at the front Customer-Service Counter. Great news is that the Diet Coke x2; we ordered, me and my beloved Mother, was bubbly, with amazing CARBONATION & TASTED LIKE DIET COLA. One area in the past that more than not; McDonald's Restaurants are at fault with is the QUALITY AND FRESHNESS AND FLAVORING Of the Behind-The-Counter Service TASTES LIKE WHEN SOMEONE WORKING AT A BAR, EMPTIES THE TRAY THAT HOUSES ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL THE BEVERAGES POURED, INTO ONE GLASS, AND THROWS A STRAW INTO IT, AND SERVES IT TO YOU. IT'S LIKE DRINKING ACIDIC VOMIT; AND IS UNACCEPTABLE. That's one reason, that she and I enjoyed the front Lobby help-yourself-soda machine is that it typically has much more carbonation than the machines behind the front customer service counter.... These sodas HERE @ this 2118 McHenry Avenue, Modesto, California 95350 (Phone number) (209) 529-9984 location was GREAT, FRESH & AWESOME ALL THE WAY AROUND and the woman employee behind the counter was non-stop ambulating as she delivered tableside service to those who had already ordered their items.... It was a really enjoyable dining experience & the tableside service WAS A HIT from today's viewing and that makes me want to support this location & tell others about them..... Enjoy! :) Sincerely, ~Jana Leigh Thomas Sr. Yelper! :) read more

Good service, Good food, and I don't gotta wait forever. Overall one of my favorite spots to just get a quick cheap meal

I just left the drive thru about 10 minutes ago. 10:30am. The sweet woman that handed me my food at the second window had no issue giving me Mexican salsa & ketchup. She also kindly remade my iced coffee without a hassle, and even waited for me to try to make sure it was good! normally when I come to McDonald's they always rush me or get upset with me asking for sauce. I was kind of having a bad day, but she turned it around. I hope this lady gets recognition for how sweet she was, I wish I got her name, but she had glasses on and I think a light pink or red lipstick & a small accent. Thank you so much to this pretty woman !!! I wish I gave a tip but she left right after I tried my coffee. read more

McDonalds - not to mention, my food was hot & delicious - Fast Food Near Me - Modesto, California

Waited 10 minutes for tea absolutely ridiculous and they weren't very friendly don't come here at night

Leaving a review for McDonalds is wildddd lol BUT I have to acknowledge the morning crew . I typically just get a coffee but the morning staff in MY experiences , have always been so kind honestly . They accommodate the creamer if my coffee ends up being a little too strong , and the employees are always smiling when you get to the window to pay or them giving the food . Even if it's a fake it til you make it kind of thing , days when I don't feel like smiling or talking , they're always able to change that around & that means a lot to me . Their consistent customer service is what moved me to give 5 stars . I've been coming here for a while now and I feel it's deserved . Thank you for turning my sad days around with just little interactions (: read more

Worst customer service ever . Talked to the manager couldn't understand her so she put somebody else on the phone and they don't even care.

Please train your employees how to use your drive thru. it keeps happening they don't give service to the car that gets there first. everyone we have tried to complain or talk to the manager English isn't their first language even though there's another manager that you can see and hear on the back that speaks and understands English just fine. read more

Getto, dirty, slow service, nothing good or positive to say about this s. hole. Avoid it at all costs. Plenty of better fast food places in that getto Modesto area. read more

My kid loves Mc Donald's. Happy meals are her thing! Only reason I'm giving this place a 4 star instead of a 5 is they messed up my drink order two days in a row, and on my burger they only gave me one pickle. Otherwise quick and easy way to go! read more

Rude I order a Dr pepper and she had me a diet then said oh no it reg Dr pepper I tried it and it was diet I told her and she act like it was coming out of her pocket when I asked for Dr pepper so I tell her just get me an orange and she hands me an Dr pepper don't they learn how to listen in kindergarten then my fish sandwich was mad all messy and hard I don't know if this mcd has nothing but kindergarten working but may e they should hire some high school kids at least they listen read more

Everytime I make a mobile order it is ALWAYS wrong. They either mess up on the item order or don't even put the item in the bag! I've gotten home so many times where they didn't put half my order in the bag. Now I check it before i leave and without fail I bring it right back in every single time. Whomever is in charge of checking orders before they are given to the customer should be fired. Fast food is expensive enough. To not get what you paid for is ridiculous. read more

I waited curbside 15 minutes, but frappe machine was down. Nobody told me and they wanted to charge again for another drink. The manager name is Tobi. I definitely won't be coming here anymore. I can't believe I pains over $3 for this medium iced mocha! What a rip off. When I tried to question if this was a small I was told that it was the right size. I will not ever order the coffee from them again. I may as well go to Starbucks and at least pay for what I am getting. read more

I go to this McDonalds at least twice a week , I have mentioned many times to Manager on Duty that the Soda Fountain is not calibrated .The flavor is bland / No to Little Carbonation. They don't know how to do their job they always park me for a coffee they took 10 mins to get me my 2 items that I ordered ahead of time.

So I've gone to this McDonald's more than 5 times cause it's convenient when I'm at work. Every. Single. Time. I get so sick. The people are nice just the food is disgusting. I mean it's McDonald's but come on I don't want to be sick every time I eat it. Just wanted to put a warning out there to be careful. read more

I have done a mobile order before and had a friend pick it up with a mobile order number. Lame all of a sudden today they want to act brand new and are unable to process the order. Literally the app says you can go to the counter and give them a mobile number. Well trained employees are the only way to increase sales, poorly trained employees increase negative word of mouth. Nor compared to other restaurants, just to other McDonald's. Efficiency matters, hot food served, great pricing,.use App for deals.

I'm sticking with 2 stars because, like an idiot, I didn't look at me order in the bag before getting home..surprise surprise!! I paid for the special 2 sausage egg mcmuffins and got only one. I had also ordered a pancake meal and big latte feeling good about not spending that extra money at a coffee specialty drive thru..haha joke was on me because I paid for ghost macmuffin anyhow. Then trying to call there from home while everybody else was eating, they can't answer their phone either. Their food is pretty tasty which is why I didn't rate them one star. But if you pay for something and get literally nothing, who knows about the taste. ..plus someone actually cut in front of me in the drive thru line for a cup of coffee only...(i saw their screen.) My point and advice for people who are deciding where to eat: check your bag! Check your receipt! Charging for food you don't even serve is a sure way to make a profit even when your prices are low. read more

So my fiancé is a truck driver and had a delivery where he would be spending the night in his truck in the same shopping center, he got there around 9:30 entered the lobby because there doors were still open. They looked at him and said the lobby is closed drive thru only!! He proceeded to tell them can I please just order something real fast I can't go through the drive thru in my semi because I'm a truck driver. They straight said no! These people are rude and inconsiderate and have no respect for people who work hard who just need a bite to eat when clearly there lobby was still open. read more

I stopped in on Friday, gloves and masked, as line was twenty cars long. I was absolutely appalled at the LACK of safe hygiene during this time when it is so easy to provide the public with safely prepared food. Only gloves were worn by actual burger preps. French fry prep touched French fry containers ungloved then placed them in distribution bags. Ice cream in cups had workers handle spoons after dropping in Oreo cookies bits, then touch spoon handles to stir in ingredients. Why aren't they gloved? The consumer then touched the same spoon left in the cup. I ordered a chocolate shake and watched it prepared. Ice cream went into cup, then handled and capped without gloves. I used a sanitized cloth to wipe it down before I left. Probably should have just left it as possibly contaminated. Corporate McDonald's needs to step in and require healthier, more sanitary conditions when people are expecting safe food preparation!!! read more

This is thee most unorganized McD's EVERY time I order, I'm asked to pull over and park. Today I ordered 1 small fry- pull over and wait 4 minutes. This is ridiculous. That's a reflection of poor management that don't know how to work a team. They need to get some training. Sorry ass employees never look at the ticket here because somehow EVERYTIME they fuck up my order, and forget the sauces!!

Many times I've had to deal with issues here. By far the most annoying is they refuse to scan the app for the rewards of buy 5 get 1 McCafé free.
