Each coin giving one hour means 50 cents should be plenty. Passing by the outside seating made me wish I wasn't dining alone. I was seated promptly and narrowed my choices down to three sandwiches. The parmesan bruschetta Panini, the Milltown Panther, or the Marilyn Monroe. I ended up ordering the former and kept the original side of chips. If I was super hungry I would have ordered Mac & cheese for a side. The panini was super crunchy and toasted to perfection. The chicken was sliced appropriately sized and cooked well. The toppings were justice but not to the point it would ruin the crispy bread. I would visit again and get the one of the same three items I narrowed it down to this first time.

I LOVE this place…read more I came here all the time for their various bowls. This place looks like a typical diner, but it is actually one of the most innovative restaurants in the Lewisburg area. It gets really crowded around lunch on the weekends so there can be a wait of up to an hour. Get here early around 11-11:30 to beat the wait. There is no dinner service and it closes early in the afternoon. Service is very good for a diner and they always check on customers and refill water regularly. There are so many options of food from traditional breakfast dishes, lunch bowls with interesting twists, and a lot of smoothie and juice options. I have tried nearly all their bowls, and I love their Korean and carne asada bowls. Milkshakes are also solid here. I had the cannoli once and it was massive. This can be a treat on its own.

Our friends suggested Arrowhead nearby, good food and also full of memories in the youth. We arrived around 6:30 PM and were seated right away. Our server, Maddie, brought drinks and menus. Their specials of the night were Pot Pies and Tacos. I ordered the Broccoli Cheese Balls and Cheesesreak Eggrolls to share. Both of which were new to me. After looking over the menus, our friends chose a fish sandwich for her and Taco Pie for him. My wife picked a Chef's Salad. I was considering a Chicken Pot Pie but decided instead on a Taco Pie instead. Our appetizers came hot and crispy. I tried a Broccoli Cheese Ball and it was fantastic! Then I tried the Cheesesteak Eggroll. Tasty but no comparison to the other appetizer. Our dinners came fairly quickly. My wife really enjoyed her salad, chilly, crisp and delicious with plenty of meats. The Taco Pie was huge, with a shell made in-house that was still hot from fryer. The pie itself was tasty but unremarkable. Beef was a bit bland and little refried beans. Plus only a very mild salsa with only Tabasco for heat. Our friends seemed to enjoy their meals, but gave no ratings good or bad. If you go there, absolutely try the appetizers, which were great.

Despite the dining room being at least half empty, we waited 45 minutes for our food while multiple tables of similar size who arrived after us were served and finished before we received our meals. With a young child, the extended wait became difficult, and I eventually had to take my youngest to the car after already sitting for an hour. When the food finally arrived, my son's spaghetti was cold, and my meal was boxed to go as i was in the car. Once home, I discovered my steak was burnt, despite ordering it between medium and medium‑well. My husband attempted to speak with a manager, but no one ever came to the table. My husband and I were driving back to Baltimore from the Finger Lakes about a week ago and decided…read moreit was the perfect time to check out the Fence Drive In! The Fence Drive In looks charmingly old, and it does have a long history in Milton! It was once a tent restaurant (called "the Breezy Tent") which opened in the 1930s. The owners then built a permanent structure on the site in 1951. After several floods that almost destroyed the building, the owners sold it in 1975. Since then it's been owned by the Rabb family (now run by the second generation), and they've maintained the historical charm of the restaurant. Today, it's still a drive in with car hop service. The restaurant is right on the Susquehanna River, and they have several comfortable picnic tables facing the water with some twinkly lights over them, too. While this looked incredibly charming, we wanted the classic car hop experience for our first visit. So we drove up, parked, and waited just a minute or two for a waitress to come out to our car with a menu. Later, she brought our food out to us on the tray that clips on on to the driver-side window. It's an incredible bit of Americana that is almost gone now, but you can have that vintage experience at the Fence Drive In! Their menu has the classics you expect (burgers, hot dogs, milkshakes) with lots of seafood options as well (fish sandwich, shrimp). We shared a cheeseburger with everything (ketchup, mustard, onion, relish) and their scallop basket (lightly breaded and fried scallops) on top of French fries, with a side of coleslaw. The food was great. The burger was a classic. The scallops were really well fried - the breading was light the scallops got a crisp on the outside but weren't overcooked. The service was friendly and fast. They are a cash only establishment, but that just adds to the retro charm. It's a gem. It's not a just a quick restaurant to grab a bite at; they're preserving an American classic. So stop by the ATM inside if you need to, but definitely stop by The Fence In for a great meal and some nostalgia if you're anywhere near Milton PA.

It was raining so we couldn't sit at the picnic table to enjoy the river but a great spot.
