After a minute, it became obvious the bartender was dating this patron, so she spent all her time chatting with him and wholly ignoring us except for getting us a single drink apiece. After twenty minutes of weird silence besides their flirting, we slammed our beers and cashed out. I can see this place being better if more people show up. If I recall correctly, they also allowed smoking in the bar, which I'm not a fan of.

Despite the dining room being at least half empty, we waited 45 minutes for our food while multiple tables of similar size who arrived after us were served and finished before we received our meals. With a young child, the extended wait became difficult, and I eventually had to take my youngest to the car after already sitting for an hour. When the food finally arrived, my son's spaghetti was cold, and my meal was boxed to go as i was in the car. Once home, I discovered my steak was burnt, despite ordering it between medium and medium‑well. My husband attempted to speak with a manager, but no one ever came to the table. For a $100 meal, the quality and service were extremely disappointing.

I love Towne too much and it is a core memory of mine…read more First off, the food is one of the best in Lewisburg and has very very generous portions. They used to have dessert options and the options are massive, but it has been trimmed down due to lack of demand. My favorite items are the craft beer shrimp, black diamond, and flat iron steak. Portions here are large, especially the pasta. They also make really good drinks and they have a DJ on weekends that have really good music and vibes. It is also a great place to watch Sunday Night Football. I think one of the most important aspects of a bar is the community. The community cultivated here is friendly. The bartenders are excellent. They know the really good drinks and make good banter with all the patrons.

There was only one person working there when we went and she was very friendly. The cider is apparently made by one person alone and she was literally canning the cider when we walked in. We got some 4 packs for take out. They have special varieties for COVID - Plum, Passion Fruit and Peach. All were excellent! The flavors were very genuine, not too sugary. When it came to the plum, it really tasted like you were eating a plum (mild plum I suppose). They were also very nice and accommodating given the outdoor dining everyone was doing - they allowed us to use the restroom and fill up our water bottles so we could eat outside with the takeout we got. All in all an excellent experience. The varieties on the website sound great and we hope to be back after COVID is gone to check the place out in full swing!

We opted for a different location but I had this spot in mind for a good summer evening. Came here with some friends on a Friday summer night for banter and brews. There was a beautiful stone patio with greenery and a lovely view of the sun and horizon as it set. The burger was tasty. A tad expensive at $18. The rest of the meal was pretty cheap. I got two beers and we shared a platter of nachos with the brisket (exclusive on weekends). Spent a bit over $40 total. If I could go back, I might get the brisket sandwich. $20 and you basically get a pound of meat on a roll. A friend got it. It looked delicious although I was happy with my meal as well. The food was pretty good but I think the real ticket is the scenery and patio. Definitely, consider it for your weekend meetup in the area.
