Keeping it short and simple. I've worked in the food service industry for most of my life until recently so I understand the pain of the business. I also understand this is McDonalds and there is a bar that could not be lower in terms of what our community expects in terms of service and food quality. There will always be the saying "it's just McDonald's." That being said, the service I received from this place not once but twice has completely made me STOP coming here. This location is 2 mins from me if that says anything about convenience for me. I go out of my way to avoid this fast food establishment and so should you. 1. First true, unacceptable problem is my wife received a LIVE roach in her burger. It jumped out of the sandwich and into the floorboard of my car. My wife was sick to her stomach and threw up the food she had just eaten. Along with us taking a VERY long break from visiting this location. 2. This one's on us for giving this place another chance, but we were hungry and needed something quick. So about a year later we come back to this establishment hoping for the better, well we should've stayed away. Not only was the wait for our food 25 mins, my wife received her burger UNCOOKED, RAW, and COLD. I fortunately got images of this incident, taken at our house after we sat down to eat. The excuse management used for the burger being undercooked was that they hired a new cook and it looked like he cooked the meat on McRib instead of what procedure calls for. So not only did they not train their cook they're actively letting me know that THEY know he's cutting corners. I'm sick of this McDonald's and not paying attention. I hate this place the only reason I order is for my kids but every single time we get them mcnuggets they forget the sauce and it's not only delivery it's even in store. When you complain something is missing they treat you like you're the problem. I don't know if the owner is just terrible or if it's an extreme lack in judgement while hiring but something has to change read more

The worst service. Person in the drive thru before me had a $70 order and I sat at the other speaker for 5 minutes before they took my order. Then when I got to the food window they gave me my drink and asked me and the next 4 cars to pull into waiting spots. After all that 100% of my food was cold. Well, I went through drive-through grab my order. I have a double cheeseburger, small fries and medium drink. Everything was perfect. The double was juicy fries were fresh and hot overall great experience probably the best burger I've ever had from McDonald's. read more

I ordered a 20 piece McNuggets and only received 10. I also ordered a Cheeseburger with ONLY KETCHUP, I got a cheeseburger with onions on it. Also the Dr Pepper was watery and had no flavor at all. I called to let someone know my order was wrong and the girl told me there was definitely more than 10 nuggets and made it to seem like I didn't know what I was talking about. read more

I would like to give you guys a shout out because I know your restaurant gets bashed enough but Sat morning whoever was working the drive through you did a fantastic job. I had 5 or six meals in my order and she was very nice and got everything first time. Also I had everything in my order to include straws and napkins. Went there last night and the service was totally awful. The girl taking orders on the Drive through didn't even say hello just what can I get you!!! Then we go to pay and the receipt was unreadable and when I asked if I could have one that I could read the Manager told me that was it, that was the best it would print. They were to busy talking about a game that was in Ozark Al last night. Then we finally get to the window to get our food and the girl there just stared at us then basically through the food at me. When someone in my car spoke to her she just rolled her eyes. We then told her that our order was short a fry she slammed the window and got one never apologized and threw that at me as well. Come here often at night and honestly I usually get great service and the food is well as good as McDonald's can be.

I went here for a quick and easy dinner with my husband. We ordered and we're given our drinks and told to pull into spot 3 to wait. After 31 minutes of waiting and no sign of our food I went inside. The employees had no idea what had happened. So they had to make it again. After waiting for 20 more minutes inside they offered me free pie for my wait. I accepted but if I had known it was going to take ten more minutes to get me pies I would have just said no. So I waited an hour to get my dinner in total. Not only that but it was a hot mess inside. One of the employees unplugged their tablet thing for waitr and door dash to charge their phone so that tablet was dead and no one was able to get to those orders. Another woman came in and her order was wrong and her change was wrong... It was insane how unorganized and slow everything they did was. So I left angry, hungry and I probably won't be back for a long while. read more

I've had several wrong orders at this location in the past but we aren't super picky and try to be forgiving.. I haven't been (to this location) in months because I waited over 10 minutes in the drive through one morning, around 7am, and was still never helped. I drove up to both windows and drive back around again.. I had two babies in the car or I would have just went in. Tonight, I ordered a number 2 w no onions. (2 cheeseburgers meal) One had a mountain of onions and the other had no onions but a mountain of pickles and the grill slip was inside of the paper, partially in the burger. This particular McDonald is near my home and quick to go to. However, the service is subpar, and the food taste like it is left under a heat lamp for hours. The drive thru this time was busy but inside it was empty. I know because while I waited over ten minutes for a grilled SWS the rest if my order got cold and hard. I had to go in and ask for my remaining order after seeing other cars drive away with their orders. Inside I witnessed at least six employees meandering around when I asked for the salad they said they were waiting on the grilled chicken. Fair enough but when I finally got home with the food(about a mile away) there was practically no salad in my salad and the now cold Large fries that came with the other order were for the most part less than an inch long. I basically paid for warmed up leftovers. Do yourself a favor and try the one at I-65 and 14 they seem to have their act together. read more

The Millbrook, Al. McDonalds is typical during the week, meaning they are decent enough to make food that is edible. But the weekend is a different story. The weekend crew will serve you absolute garbage and then over-price you for it. I got 4 Sausage Breakfast Burritos this morning, as well as other items, and was only given 3 in the bag. The 3 that I did receive had been nuked in a microwave and were way too hard to eat. I tried twice to call the manager when I got home and was put on a long hold both times, with no one ever coming back to the phone. I got my order ten minutes earlier and they WERE NOT busy. There's no excuse for this type of service. The regional manager for this McDonalds really needs to investigate this place on the weekends. Perhaps pay a surprise visit and order something like you're a customer. Trust me, you will be shocked and disgusted at the service and the quality of the food. I will never visit this place on a weekend again. read more

McDonald's at this location has changed completely, the staff there are more nicer and the service was better than before the renovations. I recommend giving this location a chance before going to a different McDonald's location in the area. read more

The food is fine, but this McDonald's has the ABSOLUTE worst customer service I have ever experienced in a restaurant. The worst part is this is right in the middle of my hometown and nearest to my house. I am not a nit picky person, if I wanted special treatment I would go to chik fila . But the last 3 times I have went to this McDonald's I have left extremely angered. The first time . I stood in the very front of the line for a solid 10 minutes and not a single soul said a word to me. No one said "we will be right with you" or "just one second please". They all just hung out in the kitchen . And when I say hung out in the kitchen i mean laughing cutting up hanging out . They looked me dead in the face and still didn't even consider taking my order. All I wanted was a large sweet tea and it took over 10 minutes to receive it. The second time i came , they were cash only . Didn't tell me this till I stood in line for 10 minutes and once I got to the register they finally told me. But the person who did was the most rude unexcited person I've ever met. She made me hate being in there just because of her horrible attitude. I am very very disappointed with this McDonald's and have been multiple times . I have given up on it .
