How does Mill Creek - an up and coming metropolis flourishing with high income and degree earners - have the most ghetto McDonalds in WA? My hope is that the best (remodel) is saved for last and we get one like those in the UK or Australia have - with the spiral staircase and/or plethora of glass windows surrounding a posh McCafe side. read more

I had asked if I could get a double cheeseburger in a combo meal, and the response was "what do you want for the drink?" This indicates the answer is yes, I CAN get it in a combo meal. I finish giving my order, and am given the total - which seems low. I pay and check the receipt - no double cheeseburger combo meal. I wanted to ask about that, so sat there, but was completely ignored, so I pull up to the next window. I ask the guy there about it. He explains that they do not do double cheeseburgers in a combo any more. I told him that's fine, I don't mind buying the components separately, but they should tell customers that WHILE THEY ARE ORDERING IT, and I explained why I thought it was going to be a combo meal. I told him I had no problem paying for the additional fries, but he said "don't worry about it, we'll take care of the fries." As he is handing me the bag, he states that he gave me the fries. This was a complete lie, as there were no additional fries. I don't expect anything for free, would have been happy to pay for them, but the way it was handled, I was short an order of fries. read more

Worst service I have ever received at a McDonalds. The girl that works the night/late night shift is extremely rude and short, on two occasions that I've gone later at night. I understand of you hate your job and are tired or whatever but that gives you no right to be rude to customers ever. I also notice that every time we have gone later at night when she is working the food has not been fresh. How do you make McDonald's fries taste hard and stale?! Go to this McDonald's every once in a while just because it's in between my daily commute!! Every time I go here past 1pm any day of the week the drive thru line 5-10 cars deep wrapped around the building to the front entrance and there slower then all the other McDonald's in the area !!! Takes a while 10 min wait every time!! If you live in this area I've found it more efficient to go to the McDonald's at the other Albertsons in Mill Creek up from Seattle Hill Road!! Remember not so long ago when McDonald's had television ads saying most people agree that McDonald's has the best Coca-Cola fountain drinks. They went on to extoll how the water was so pure, and exactly the perfect temperature. The syrup is always fresh. The carbonation was calculated to give a nice bubbly sensation. The ratio of all ingredients carefully balanced to create a premium drink. And it seemed to be true at the time! However, over the last couple of months, I've noticed a dramatic decline in the quality of their Coca-Cola. Many times I've found them to be flat and syrupy... othertimes watery. And it's not one single store that this had occurred. My comments refer to Mill Creek, Thomas Lake, and Canyon Park stores. I had enjoyed the Coca-Cola from there so much that when bringing take-out home, we often went to two different restaurants: one stop for food, then the second stop for Coca-Cola from McDonald's. Which McDonald's was chosen based on how close to the restaurant that we had picked up food. I had begun to snub the bottled and canned beverages in favor of McDonald's fountain drinks. But today, after the 7th consecutive drink that ended up tossed down the sink, I find myself writing this review. My hope is that bringing attention to this problem might bring about change for the good. I won't be trudging to McDonald's for every drink anymore, but I'll stop by once in awhile to see if they return to the premium quality they once were. read more

This is a five star Crackdonalds! The soda mix is rocking and my Dr. Pepper is always the right amount of carbonated water and syrup. They have never messed up my order and the lady today gave me my drink for a dollar since I didn't have another 10 cents and wasn't trying to break another dollar. Service was OK. Not the best but I've had worse, and it's McDonald's. You shouldn't expect too much. Also they've got some Asian dude with spiky hair at this particular restaurant. I come here every week and it amazes me how he gets his hair up like that! But overall, this is a place for a quick snack, shouldn't expect too much though. read more

Drive through has gotten ridiculously slow in the last year. Don't go here if you are in a hurry.

I don't normally write reviews but woooow. First we get to the drive thru we tell them our order, not to hard, a double quarter meal, single quarter pounder with no onion add bacon and mayo, and a kids meal. When we get the window I hear them say a double quarter meal with no onion add bacon and mayo, a 2 cheese burger meal and a kids meal. So we tell them no that's wrong and we tell them the correct order and went to the next window. Then they hand us the food and we checked automatically because we had a feeling they didn't give us our correct order we didn't get the single quarter at all and we were still charged for the 2 cheese burger meal. So we tell them again and one lady was thinking we were getting upset when we were not and told me to calm down and to not give an attitude when we weren't upset but They give us or money back. We pulled to the side of the building to get check again and that is when we notices the single quarter was missing and the double quarter was not correct but yet we had 3 fries. We go back in the and they fix everything. We get home and notice they didn't even give us the drink for my daughters kids meal and the food cold because of that mess. read more

I Love driving 15 minutes to McDonald's and 15 minutes back just to have my order missing food. How hard can it be to make sure there are 6 items in a bag when six items are ordered? I drive all the way to this McDonald's (I have one less than 5 minutes away) because the customer service is always on point and the restaurant is clean. This MC Donald's was the most horrible experience I ever had at any restaurant in my life . I was with my two kids at the play area drinking coffee when I noticed a female MC Donald's employee glaring at me . After a minute she picked up her cell phone called someone and left. I never ever would of thought she would call the police on me because the police came and said someone called the police on me for doing inappropriate things in the play area. I told the police I have my two kids here ,he said no problem and just left. Apparently the MC Donald's employee did not see my kids because they were up in the slide area. She must have thought this older guy hanging out in the play area must be a pedophile then called the police. Wow talk about loosing a customer and getting a innocent civilian all riled up. I politely confronted the Manager named Stephanie Custer, wanted an apology and she refused to give me that female workers name. She said she will have her District manager call me and smooth things out . I only wanted an apology or a food credit since I almost threw up thinking about this bizarre and strange experience I just had. Who would ever think a MC Donald's employee would call the police on you and accuse you for doing inappopiate things in the play area. Even if a customer complained about me for some strange reason in this day and age where everyone is a suspect or an evil doer !! She did observe me, watched me for a full minute then just assumed I must be doing something wrong and called the police. Although the establishment looks clean and well kept, has a decent curbside appeal. That's all you'll get if you go through the drive through. This is one of those places where you can't judge a book by its cover. The drive thru was very disappointing. I had only ordered Two extra value meals and they couldn't get it right. I was missing a large fry, apparently i have to use my shirt as a napkin, because they didn't provide any, must be low on straws because we were only given one for two drinks, had to ask for sauces for the mcnuggets, but I had to go inside the store to get it. what's the point of the drive thru when i have to go back in. We got home and the french fries were stale. so sad. I shouldn've just gone ot jack in the box. I didn't even get an "I'm sorry" from the management when i went inside. We have gone to this location many times, and the drive-thru service is HORRIBLE. They screwed up our order every time we go, wrong size fries, missing fries, missing sandwitches, etc... Yeah, McDonald's Sucks... but this one is especially bad. The Owner of this joint is a man named Dennis, and quite frankly he is appalling. I was the general manager of a McDonald's in Wisconsin for some time, and this one is ran terribly. After talking to a few of the employees who were on break, i learned that Dennis (much like most fast food chain owners) is very cheap. Perhaps that's why the restaurant is so outdated? Another thing i noticed here is that the employees are predominately mexican, and judging by there lack of english skills, i assume that most of them are not legal. No, i'm not racist i myself am an immigrant. I ordered a Habenero Ranch Quarter Pounder meal, and i got it the sauce was all over the box, the fries were cold, and the coke machine was out of coke syrup. I complained to the manager at the time, but i could hardly understand this short white haired mexican woman's english, so i asked for another manager and finally got helped. Sultry, the manager who came to help me was great! she had the crew remake my sandwich, and gave ,me a large fry is replacement. Oh, also on a separate visit the young women Employee Taelor was very stressed, and had a terrible attitude, but who can honestly blame her? She was the only employee on the floor. (Both Front Counter, and drive thru) and the only other employee i saw at the time was a Mexican woman in the kitchen blasting her Fiesta music. With the exception of the lovely manager i got to talk to (Sultry) this place needs new management, and probably a new owner. Not a recommended place to eat. just go up the street a few miles to Bothell or the other one in Mill Creek. read more

I can honestly say I don't know why I keep giving this place a chance. McDonald's is by no means fine dining, but when you go you expect a certain level of service and continuity. You don't even get close here. This McDonald's first of all, always out of Shamrock shakes when they are "in season". Always. They consistently get orders wrong or leave things out of the bag. Every time (at least for me) But today was the last straw so to say. Going through at breakfast I apparently was really bothering the woman taking my order, since mid order, and mid sentence, she cut me off, read my order back to me and asked if she had it correct. I replied that yes she did and she gave me my total in a very snotty voice and told me to pull up to the first window to pay. I wasn't even done ordering! She didn't ask me at all if I needed anything else, and like I said, interrupted me mid order and cut me off. I only got to order food for 3 of the 4 people in the car. I even stated I wasn't done ordering and got no response from her. And no, I was not taking forever to order. Oddly enough, this is the first time they actually got my order right and all in the bag. Too bad I won't be back. This place clearly relies on the fact they are at a very busy intersection and not strong customer service. read more
