I mean it's McDonalds. I'm here because as a father of a 7 year old this is his happy place as it was mine when I was his age. But it saddens me to see how prices and what you get have changed so much recently. My kid gets the chicken nugget Happy Meal religiously. And yes I'm the guy that asks for no salt to get the fries fresh and no ice so I get more soda. So obviously I also am the person that uses the app because like most fast food places that is where the best deals are at. And this McDonald's got all my special orders right. So for that I give this location 4 stars. But I gotta really say that when I order a Quarter Pounder, what I am assuming I'm going to get and what I actually get are two different things. For a second I thought it was a regular cheeseburger because it was so small. A Quarter Pounder should not be the same circumference of a ketchup packet. But nonetheless this is where we are at with Fast Food now a days. Prices are increasing and product size is decreasing. Jose is a great guy, I love his customer service but it's really hard for me to put 5 stars because a lot of the employees here sometimes make a small error for a 2 for $3 deal and then tell me it's not possible to do what an employee already just clarified. If it wasn't for Jose and his great service and personality I would've dropped the score, so I really hope you can find more people like him because he's been very helpful to me before and he should lead as an example! read more

And those expectations are almost always met. What makes this McDonalds different than any other I've been to is the clean and modern decor. Dark wood stained tables, booths and chairs. Glass pendant lamps. Flat screen TV's and even touch screen video games at the booths! On one side of the restaurant there is also a communal low-profile table with six low-profile stools where I enjoyed my McMuffin, hash brown and orange juice. read more

No AC for the past 6 months according to the manager. We order a big Mac without lettuce and with bacon. Well the first one they gave me had no bacon, the person behind the counter checked with her fingers no gloves and then tried to add the bacon on the same sandwich. When I complained she gave me a new one now with only cheese and bacon, complained once more now I got a third bicmac with both meet patties on the same side of the bread. My top complaint about this place is they quite literally NEVER cook their fries all the way??? How can you get that wrong? But yet I go all the time and every time I order fries, they are sorely undercooked, floppy, rubbery and sometimes even still cold. Yuck. This is the worst Mc Donald's I have ever been to. I only come here whenever I am not passing by another Mc Donald's and my 4 year old NEEDS to eat something. They take forever to take your order. It is always hard to critique a chain restaurant. All of their management teams nationwide are required to run their restaurants a certain way--fry the fries like that; make your milkshakes with certain ingredients; and make sure that their burgers are grilled to a certain temperature. However, there are different features of McDonalds that make them stand out from each other, so when I saw their two screen, two lane drive thru, I was enthralled (in both a good and bad way)! This type of drive-thru is supposed to make service quicker and more efficient, but that was not the case when I visited them. The second they started talking to me, I was supposedly taking too long, and they switched over the other monitor. Seriously, I was talking and then they just cut me off. I am sure that this McDonalds is more efficient, and maybe last night was an off night, but that two lane drive thru was definitely something I enjoyed. We were out of that McDonalds in less than 10 minutes, even with that little hiccup, and all our food was fried and greasy to our liking. One thing that stood out for me though was how my friend told me they had sweet potato pie, but it wasn't on the menu. What?! Are there secret items now? Incredible! My friend wasn't able to get her pie though because they said that it would take 10 minutes to thaw, so maybe they have a secret frozen stash somewhere--maybe like the bottom of the freezer. I would like to try this pie eventually because it sounds like an interesting concept and a lot of delicious carbs, but not if I have to wait 10 minutes. Hopefully, the pies are thawed next time we visit. 3.5 stars. read more

This is by far the worst McDonald's in Miami. I ordered through the mobile app and was informed my food was ready. I arrived in the pick up parking spot and put my spot number and sat in the car for 20 minutes waiting. I than drove to the drive through to see where my order was and the guy looked so confused as if they didn't know what I was talking about. He goes to check and comes back to inform me it's not ready. I waited another 20 minutes in my parking spot and had to go inside to see my order was still being prepared. I go to take a bite out of my nugget and it was completely RAW and so greasy. I checked on the burgers and they were cold and looked like someone had put their fingers through the meat. The fries were under cooked. I walked in and no one was even at the register so I walked toward the back of the store to ask for a store manager who was looking at someone's phone with them. He comes up front and I ask him if he would eat this and he didn't even apologize he went and got me another order of 40 nuggets. I told him I want my money back and wasn't even apologetic. HORRIBLE service!!! This store should not even be open. They don't even deserve not even a 1 star! read more

This mcdonalds has two ordering screens (but only one person taking orders, which defeats the purpose) and two windows when only the second one was being used. It took me 55 minutes to get my food. The manager needs to seriously consider putting more staff to work the night shift because this is ridiculous. People behind me started leaving without getting their food because they were tired of waiting. I was about to do the same but I had already waited 50 min. Not the staffs fault, but definitely poor managerial dept. Will not be returning. Stay away! Not worth the time, there is a mcdonalds just a little further down 8th street. read more

As good as any mcdonalds could possibly be. I come here to get hashbrowns at all times. They vary in quality from time to time. The workers don't usually speak in English which can be a problem if you don't understand Spanish but otherwise its a decent location. Nothing special about it. read more
