Stopped like I always do while traveling because of the convenient location. Quality of their service is the worst I've experienced in over 8 years coming here. I used the inside Kiosk at 4:31 . There were 4 people inline at the drive thru. I ordered the $5 meal with tea.it took over 14 minutes. When I approached the cashier who was busy talking to the morning manager who was off duty about getting her nails done. I interrupted as I had observed my tray of food sitting on a tray by the side counter while other orders were being filled to go. No apologies just another an happy customer. I will definitely be sharing with all my RV group friends to not stop here but go into Bloomington @Wendys. read more

7pm on a Sunday night and this merry group of teenage boys were unable to pull their stuff together. Restaurant was a mess, orders being mismanaged, food not coming out. The driving force behind McDonalds is convenience. This experience was anything but convenient. A McDonalds in a truck stop right off the highway should not take 27 minutes to make 2 McDoubles. Although, they did not even start to make them. When one of the crowd gathered in the lobby asked about their order the frantic employee advised that they were holding on Nuggets. My order did not consist of Nuggets so I left without food, along with a handful of others that were waiting. No Leadership... the owner is hemorrhaging money following the current business practice. read more

I would give negative stars if was possible. 1. Management or who appeared to be Management had employees yelling and cussing at each other and did nothing. 2. Said Management took my girlfriend and mines order and got it wrong. Then when confronted about it looked at me like I didn't know what I was talking about and that I was wrong. 3. Once they finally gave us our and another families, that was in the restaurant, our food ALL of the hamburgers were still raw!!!. 4. We've stopped here many times while travelling through the area. Easy on and off from 55. The food is always as expected. This was the first time using the drive-thru. They need to fix the speakers on the drive-thru, as it was very hard to understand the person taking our order. Other than that, no complaints. Burgers were good and fries were hot. read more

Extremely unpleasant experience, i ordered a burger and some nuggets cause i was hungry. Havent eaten all day, asked for the burger plain. Get to the window and hear the people in the back wondering "if i am fat" or not to which the cashier responded no. My burger was not plain, it seems like if they were focused on making the food instead of weather i "am fat" or not they may have gotten the order right. read more

I travel often and decided to try this McDonald's, seemed okay, till my food came out wrong, and when I asked them to fix my sandwich from beef to chicken(because I ordered chicken in the first place and it had the label on it saying "crispy chicken") they used the same bun.... and just switched out the beef with chicken, so my bread was soggy because of the beef. Then the chicken was super brown, that fryer needs a boil out. The chicken is supposed to be golden color. So my experience here was not the best. The only good thing was the fries where golden color and tasted okay, and my frappe tasted fine. Other than that. Not coming here again. read more

The best McDonald's we've had in a long time! Had this McDonald's 3 times in the past month and we never eat McDonald's because it's not what it used to be. But this McDonald's takes you back to when the nuggets were delicious and so were the burgers. I don't know what they're doing differently here but we drive from bloomington just to eat here. My family and I frequent this McDonald's once every few weeks. This McDonalds has about a 50% success rate at getting our orders correct. When they aren't correct, we are usually missing one, sometimes two, items. Usually my husband and I just give up our sandwiches to the kids if it was one of theirs that got missed, but this visit made 6 missed orders in about 9 months. We usually leave it be but this time I decided to call. We were missing an oatmeal. I spoke to the manager on shift and told her of the problem. I explained that this happens frequently and we usually just chalk it up as a loss, but that we were getting pretty tired of it. She asked me what the order was and said that when we returned, she would comp the order. I felt that was fair given the amount of items we have paid for and not been given. I came back to the store 5 days later and explained the situation. I was instructed to pull around to the window. They asked for my name and the receipt. A few minutes later a different girl returned to the window and said they would only comp the oatmeal because that was the only missing item. I said that I was confused because I was told that for the dissatisfaction of my experiences that the entire order would be comped. She said that she was sorry but that I would only get the item that was missing (I would expect to get that item for "free" because I paid for it already). Anyway, I asked for the manager's name and was told "you can just give them my name, Maddie." Then I was told to please pull up to the parking space ahead, to have a nice day, and before I could even respond the girl slammed the window in my face. I pulled up to the parking space and when my food was brought out, the drinks had been forgotten. This McDonalds had a customer whose food has been repeatedly forgotten and they forgot our drinks on our return visit. I was so disappointed because I thought the manager was trying to improve our experience but instead she made it much worse. I tried to deal with it privately with my family, then as it continued I called the manager of the store, but since the manager of the store ruined our return experience I am now inclined to share reviews on Facebook, Yelp, and google. Please keep in mind I tried submitting this review through their online survey, but the character count allowed is so few that I was unable to condense the story while still explaining what happened. I plan to call tomorrow. These employees I dealt with all appeared to be teenagers. I suspect that when an adult came through with a complaint, they perceived it as an insult or personal attack. Even when I tried to explain that they were changing the terms of what was being "comped" they seemed offended even though I was being polite. I was not rude, I was just stating what I was told on the phone and expressing that I was disappointed with their change of terms. However this age group seems to take things like this as personal insults. The girls at this location behaved like children in the way they treated me. I did my time in entry level customer service and never did I, nor would I, treat customers the way McDonald's allows these girls to treat them. We will be driving to Bloomington for drive-thru food in the future, and it's unlikely to be McDonald's. read more

McDonalds is located next to the MinitMart. The bathrooms were acceptable, clean enough for a side of the road joint. The bathrooms connect the McD to the mini mart making it easy to wonder into both. They had a $1-3 menu option. Service was good. I just had their fries, not big on much else on the menu except their ice cream, but I had to pass on the cone for today. Service was great, extremely friendly staff. read more

Stopped here yesterday to get some breakfast on our way home. Walked into ankle deep water in the area between the McDonald's and the gas station. There were wet floor signs.
