This is absolutely the WORST McDonald's in existence. If you are on your way somewhere and need to be on time to get to your location, don't even bother trying to go through the drive-thru. Just today, it took 45 MINUTES to get through the drive thru, and they even have two lanes going at once. Isn't this supposed to increase the speed at which food is given to customers? Chikfila across the street is just as busy and NEVER has a wait longer than 15 mins. If they ever do, they apologize profusely and make up for it with their stellar customer service. Customer service at this McDonald's location is definitely NOT a priority. The employees move as slow as they possibly can, you almost wonder if it's on purpose. When I finally got my food, the lady handing it to me barely looked at me and just said, "sorry sweetie." and then went on her way sauntering to the back. Yes, I'm sorry that this sorry excuse for a fast food restaurant is allowed to stay open at this location. The employees never seem to have a sense of urgency or care how fast they move. Um....you work at a FAST FOOD RESTAURANT! Key word there-FAST! This isn't an isolated incident either. I can't remember a time I went to this location and spent less than 20 mins in line. Why do I keep going then? Because sometimes it is the only option due to their cheap prices. The price is literally the ONLY reason someone goes here. They also lucked out on a sweet location. Totally undeserved. I've also had several incidents where I recieved the wrong order or an incomplete order. Just more evidence of the incompetency of this location. Management needs to improve. McDonald's should be ashamed of this store. Save yourself some trouble. Don't go here. It will only end in disappointment. read more

I typically avoid reviewing widespread fast food restaurants because their proliferation and standardization ensures that most individuals are already familiar with said fast food restaurants and already have longstanding opinions. However, I'm making an exception for this McDonald's location because it is EXCEPTIONALLY EGREGIOUS! This particular McDonald's is located in the middle-of-nowhere section of McDonough, an area with more churches than restaurants. Without the impetus of competition, businesses don't exactly strive for excellence, and this McDonald's is attestant to that phenomenon. Long story short: I was in the middle-of-nowhere section of McDonough to attend an indie pro wrestling show with 5 friends, the intermission period occurred around 11:00 PM, and we drove out to discover that practically nothing other than gas stations are open past 11:00 PM in that area. After travelling 10-15 miles, I finally see this McDonald's location and rejoice, "I've never been this happy to see a McDonald's." Wow, they dropped the ball HARD! Though the woman operating the drive-thru eventually confirmed our orders, ONLY 2 OUT OF 6 ORDERS WERE CORRECT!! "ARE YOU SERIOUS, BRO?!" I've been done with school for quite some time, but I recall that 33.3% is a FLAGRANT success rate. I ordered the "Angus Deluxe Meal" but instead received 2 large orders of fries and a drink. One of my friends ordered a Quarter Pounder with Cheese that wasn't included. Another friend asked for sweet tea but instead got a Coke. Perhaps this outrageously poor experience is karma for stealing a couple of teenage girls' seats earlier that night at the indie pro wrestling show. When I realized my offense, I attempted to rectify the issue, and those teenage girls could not have been more forgiving or more accommodating. I extended my food to them as a peace offering, but I'm glad that they declined because the food wasn't acceptable or even warm, so that would have been another offense. I'm a vindictive person. I thought that I should boycott all McDonald's for a few years. But then again, I haven't eaten McDonald's food in YEARS prior to this incident. So really, McDonald's won't miss me, and I won't miss McDonald's. read more

Absolutely the worst fast food restaurant I have ever been to. Had to wait 10 minutes before I even got to the window, Went to the drive thru had to pull up past the window to wait on my food, and I watched 6 cars get their food and leave behind me. I just had a few mcchickens and mcdoubles. 25 minutes after my arrival I receive my food. Never go to this location. No one here including the managing staff has graduated high school I'm assuming. Everyone needs to be fired and replaced with robots. read more

Worst McDonald's ever.....how does such a simple menu get so difficult for people to get right? Not to mention slooow service, uncaring employees. All it would take is another burger joint to be built next door to close this place down for good. read more

This is the worst Restaurant in the world I HATE this McDonalds!!! The only reason we go is for the play ground. The food is usually subpar, they get your order wrong consistently, they are frequently out of food (seriously how does a McDonalds run out of nuggets). A few months back their icecream machine was broken for 3 months. All these things point to an owner who does not care about the customer they only want the money. read more

Horrible location. There's been many times when I've come to this location overnight and they don't respond to the drive thru when they're supposed to be open 24 hours. Everyone in the area knows that this is far from good service and 9/10, your order will be messed up after waiting 30+ minutes in the drive thru. read more

Worst McNasty's ever! These idiots actually gave me my order wrong and when I sent it back, they wiped off the sauce and gave it back to me. Didn't even have the sense to give me a new bun. Order is never right. Idiots beyond belief. I wouldn't even give them one start but this forces me to give at least 1. Real review is ZERO STARS! read more

This location is always closed at night the employees are inside but they lie and say their closed. This is like the 4 time in a few week. It's a horrible location I've lived in this are for over 15 years and I have to say this McDonald's is the worst read more

The service at this McDonalds is McCRAP!!! The rudest employees right down to the management. Wait time is horrible. Ice cream machine is always "broken". Drive thru serve is SLOW. Orders are constantly wrong. And these folks want $15 an hour?!? That's McBS!!! read more

They have NEVER gotten my meal right once then they get an attitude when I correct them on what I ordered. If I could give zero stars that's what they would receive from me. This is ridiculous, I have never heard of a restaurant getting your order wrong every single time. read more

Nuggets were fresh and delicious, but we received one box of hot fries and one box of stale, old, cold ones. Like wtf? I'm not one who normally opts for McDonald's anymore due to my already low expectations of their service, but really, one hot and one cold? Pies were old as hell too. Burnt, stale, overly crunchy with little filling left that wasn't scorched. Sad. read more

Terrible service. Can't even get the simplest of orders right. Always, always always mess something up.

Slowest McDonald's EVER. At least 5 cars left the drive thru before us. Never returning

There ice cream machine is always down! I could barely ever get a milkshake. I ended up going to chic fil a where I should have gone to begin with. read more

Purchased 8.75 in items from mcdonalds location. Was told to pull around to the 1st window where I waited for someone to take my payment. After 2 minutes, someone finally came to the window, did not repeat my order total and just took my card. I checked my receipt and surprise! It wasn't my receipt. Sure the order was less than my own, but I was honest enough to point out the mistake. Instead of taking the initial charge off of my card, the person billed me for the item that wasn't mine AND the items that were! I only discovered this as I got home and checked my account. To make matters worse, they made it seem like they were giving me the items that weren't mine as a "sorry for your inconvenience" and after waiting 5 minutes for the items, I told them "no worries" and drove away, thinking they were "handouts". Well! They weren't. And now I paid for something I NEVER received. That's not all...called to speak to a manager to get a refund and the manager was "too busy". Really... read more

Worst McDonald's ever as many have stated. Make sure you set aside about 30 minutes to go through the drive thru, they are THAT slow. I don't know where they hire these people from but they need a complete overhaul. Food is decent when they actually get your order right. read more

My wife wanted a snack from McDonald's. Almost 5pm, so I guess we get McD for dinner. Reluctantly I agree, remember they have some 'healthy(?)' wraps. At the drive thru I order one each of the Premium Chicken Wraps, a grilled and a crispy (re: fried). I don't want the whole meal, just the wraps. Price on board is $3.99 each. Price on the screen is $4.29. Hold on. I mention that to the voice and she says that's what the computer put in. So we argue for a few minutes back and forth, and then she goes and gets the manager and we argue back and forth. Eventually we are told to go around to the window and it will be adjusted there as they can't change the order now. At the window she states the wrong total for the whole order. No, you need to adjust that. Manager called over again. After more arguing and I accuse them of fraud she takes $1.50 off the whole amount. Why? It was only .60 diff. Then we get to the pick up and get the wrong sundae my wife wanted. So they have to fix that, too. 1. If I tell you the prices on the menu are different than the screen you should either believe me, or come look for yourself. Just apologize and fix it, don't argue. How many people have not noticed the discrepancies? Are you doing this deliberately? What other prices are higher than advertised? If you don't notice then you are getting ripped off. 2. The customer service here is terrible. Eye rolling and attitude from the server and the manager. Fix your menu signage if the prices changed! You seemed to be aware of the problem, so don't bitch me out because I want to only pay what is advertised. By the way, the Yelp map location for this store is wrong. It is east of McDonough at Hwy 81 & Lake Dow Rd. read more

Service here was pretty slow. The lady that took my order inside hardly said a word. I ran my card and she walked away. Pretty rude. The play area was very dirty and smelled pretty bad. On the other hand the food was OK. read more

Before you even consider ordering food from this McDonalds, do yourself a favor and take a field trip around the inside and don't forget to tour the play area! I would eat from a county road side gas station before putting a thing in my mouth that came from this "restaurant" It is roach infested (yes they were seen crawling on the ordering counter) and the play area was shut down due to LICE. The staff is inconsiderate and rude, you can ask for a manager and she will be the rudest of all. I advised that we were going to eat here but after watching roaches snack on the busted bbq sauce container ON THE COUNTER, we have decided its best that we dont....her response "so why are you still here". read more

Came at 2 looking for a shake and they tell me they turn it off. My friend tried to get some scrambled eggs and they say they don't swell them yet when they advertise all day breakfast everywhere inside. The service was terrible she was so rude and not helpful at all. read more

This McDonald's is horrible. I order 2 McChicken sandwiches with bacon & cheese, and they were fresh off the grill. I also ordered a #2 which consist of 2 cheeseburgers, fries and a drink. I waited 20 minutes for the food and the cheeseburgers were nasty while the bread was very hard and stale. Now they won't pick up the phone. read more

Waited for over 20 minutes. I've experienced bad service at this McDonald's for years. You would think they would change management or do something about such a busy establishment. They only reason they get my time is the fact they are open when I get off work. Can't imagine the customers they would get if they gave the time of day. read more

Terrible....from the Manager down! The food is mediocre but the service is horrible, just rude and unappreciative!

The worst McDonalds I've ever been to. Unfortunately I am forced to visit this McDonalds for work purposes. They have the absolute slowest service every single time we come here. No matter if it's packed or nearly empty. Our order is always missing something or wrong. Employees stand around talking or looking at their phones while customers are literally standing there to have their order taken. This place is a joke and I would never stop through by choice. read more

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Don't take it as great service if your order is right. There is a lack of care at this location. Someone will get the hot fries and nuggets. Someone has to get the sandwich right but there is ALWAYS something wrong at this location. They behave like this area should just be grateful they are here. It is really a gamble going to this location . Seriously. They don't get it right because they try. Management and owners really need to sit down and think about this. It's bad enough the food is unhealthy but your employees seem to be working for your competition because that is where people are going to avoid the poor service and corrections. So many corrections. So many times I have had to return here. It sucks. I can't sugar coat it. It's McDonalds but that's the point. There is a manual and training and a friggin University for this stuff to train everyone on everything. No one has read the manual . No one has graduated from the Burger University. They suck. Ask for their credentials . I guarantee no one even read the book. Ask them read more
