I stopped in at this sonic tonight. It had been nearly 15 years since I last stopped in at a sonic. Let me tell you, I was absolutely blown away by the incredibly delightful and efficient young lady that took my order and payment. It was so refreshing to see the joy in a fast food server. Honestly, she brightened the rest of my evening! I wish I had gotten her name but she had dark hair and two cute twists on either side and a brilliant smile! Not only was she professional and kind but the milkshake was likely the best I've had in several years! Food was hot fresh and delish! read more

Went through the drive thru today, sat there for 10 mins and no one ever came on the speaker, drove around and went to one of the boards, hit the button still nothing waited 5 more mins and nothing read more

Had a mobile order and still waited 15 minutes for a hotdog. They gave me the wrong size drink and when I asked for the correct size, the swapped the cup and just added ice. Horrible customer service. read more

Just don't. My son for some reason like Sonics but this particular one is horrible. Corporate or the franchise owner seriously need to come do a quality check and revamp everything about this location. It needs to be refreshed. From the workers to the building to the food. read more

Sonic Drive-In - Drive thru - Burgers Near Me - Mcdonough, Georgia

The food was completely awful. My order was nothing like what I asked for. I asked for a plan hamburger with nothing on it, a cherry limeade, and tater tots. The food was cold, the limeade was flat, and they left everything on the burger. Absolutely terrible I won't be coming back. read more

Sonic Drive-In - SuperSONIC Bacon Double Cheeseburger Combo "PLAIN" - Burgers Near Me - Mcdonough, Georgia

I keep going back because I used to love Sonic and visited the one by my house for a Cherry Limeade all the time! After moving here I've finally given up on this location. I give a lot of grace to food service workers, but this is just ridiculous. Wrong food, food made wrong, missing food, bad service, mean service, basically no service. I'm honestly pretty sad I've lost one my favorite snack craving places, but at this point it's not worth it. I won't be giving them another chance. Photo is of when I asked for pickle relish, which is an option pictured on their menu board. They were so confused. read more

Sonic Drive-In - Asked for pickle relish... - Burgers Near Me - Mcdonough, Georgia

Very good food. The hotdogs are some of the best along with their chicken sandwiches. Reasonable prices

Placed an online order, estimated pick up time 5:46. I get to the store, pull into a stall per the instructions, and wait for about 30 minutes before pressing the button for assistance, then 10 minutes later they decide to let me know they aren't doing carhop service and I now need to wait in the drive thru line. Ridiculous lack of customer service. read more

Horrible: food was stale, order was wrong, took forever, and everything was cold Just don't go read more

BEWARE!!!! This is without a doubt the WORST SONIC on the PLANET! But what else do I expect from anything in Henry or Clayton county?! They have the most inept and hellishly rude employees I've ever witnessed anywhere, they don't listen to anything you're saying when you order, then the kitchen screws up every order both times I've been here. When you tell them they screwed the order up in a polite way, they take offense to it and talk to you like a dog like YOU are the one that made the mistake. Oh by the way ... they had a line literally wrapped around the building for the drive through and had all the stalls closed. Took 30 minutes to get up to where you place the order and then they tell you after waiting all that time that they are not serving any ice cream or shushies. Hands down the most abysmal experience I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. read more

Service is terrible i've been there twice to not get food waited 15 plus minutes for nothing i would not recommend anyone to go here for nothing read more

Ever time I go here something is wrong. Can never come here and be in & out.. Sonic has my fav ice but I just go to other places.

I got to this location at 9:53 after rushing. Immediately upon entrance to the drive through the worker rudely just said "what do you want" repeatedly. I ordered my ice cream and then had to ask my youngest child what he wanted. She then said she couldn't hear me and stopped talking? Once I tried to order AGAIN she told me "we're closed and weren't taking anymore orders." It was still about five minutes before closing. I work in fast food so I understand the frustration of wanting to leave as soon as possible but I have never been this nasty and disrespectful to any customer coming in before closing. This service was horrible and left me in a bad mood. Do better. You're getting paid to take people's orders! Why be rude to the people funding your paycheck. I will not be coming back. She should be fired! read more

We waited at the drive thru speaker for 5 minutes. No answer. No sign saying speaker was not working. The line was long. Cars were breaking line. It was a complete disaster. No apologies for poor service. I attempted to call the manager, but the mailbox was full. I would have driven off without even ordering but I did a mobile order. Two more carhops come out asking what did I order. I finally get to the window and they say they have no record of my order. Thank God I had my receipt in my email. read more

This location should consider closing for good. DRIVE THRU ONLY AND NO ONION RINGS? Covid was an excuse two years ago and now it there is always an excuse for shi**y service and a limited menu. read more

First in foremost I already live in the woods. Meaning I have to drive a good distance for fast food. Tonight my significant other and I went to Sonic. As we arrived there was no lights. All of the lights where out except for inside the building. You literally have to know the menu, the drive thru menu did not have lights, the lights on the building was out just horrible. As we begin to place our order, the lady who was taking orders just seemed very frustrated, rude, irritated. It was like she didn't want to be at work. Every time my significant other spoke, she cute him off. Then we wanted to verify to see if a burger we ordered was input the way we wanted, and it was like we had ruined her night. She had the biggest attitude ever. Also, he asked for cheese sticks aka mozzarella sticks. She started they didn't serve that, so I time him mozzarella sticks and she said ok. I said all this to say. The things that are suppose to be convenient for you are not actually convenient. And this is sad and unacceptable. Every time I come here, there's always an issue. On top of that we get home and his large fry is actually a medium. Large box but medium order of fries. read more

Stopped to get lunch for the road. They were only open in the drive-thru after trying the parking stall. Ordered a kids meal to find out they have no soda. Only water and their lemonade/limeades. Fine, we'll take a water. No response, so tried to order a #1 meal with lemonade only to have the cashier ask us to repeat it all and listed some more items they are out of, so we just drove off. Not worth it. William's donuts for the win for a snack. Donuts and kolaches. read more

I ordered tater tots, got French fries. Two cold French fries after waiting 30 minutes in drive thru. Used drive thru as no one answered the button on pull in menu stall. Burger was not cooked. It's as if they took it out of the fridge and put it on a bun. Nasty place. Won't be back. read more

Tots, tots, tots, tots, tots, tots! Everybody! The perfect nostalgic taste of burgers, fries, hot dogs, ice cream and my FAVORITE-- Cherry Limeade and corn dogs!!! The service at this location was fast and accurate. The food was hot and delicious. It's located right off the road So you see it clearly. Be aware before pulling in and waiting to order it's probably drive thru only. They let us sit there with the button on that said we'll be with you shortly for 20min! Before someone told us it was drive thru only. We got in line and didn't love for 10 more minutes before leaving. read more

Came to this location visiting from out of town. I am not one to write reviews but something needs to be said about the uncooked corn dogs. I ordered more corn dogs than anything because that is what my kids love. Easy meal for picky toddlers right? My kids could not even eat them and I ended up wasting $40. I was just reminded of why I DO NOT eat fast food. NEVER again! read more

Sonic Drive-In - Burgers Near Me - Mcdonough, Georgia

Ordered a mini reeses blast. The girl come out with a medium or large. I say, I ordered a mini. She said, we already had this one made and will give you this one. I pay and said I need a spoon. She said, sorry we dont have any our truck hasn't come. I gave it back and she looked confused after she handed me a melting blast and offered me a fork. Should have been told before ordering! Riduculous! If I done my job this crappy and was this ignorant I wouldn't have a job! read more

Horrible! This was not the first time I have had bad service at this particular Sonic. Ran out of syrup and didn't say anything until after I paid and received my order. Service is also lacking. Seems like too many young people working and not enough experienced people. Any other Sonic I go to, my sandwich is great. I had to play "find the bacon" on a non-toasted sandwich. Just disappointed. Wish I could give them less than a 1 star. read more

Terrible customer service. Arrived 20 minutes before closing time to order and no one answered the call button. That didn't surprise me because a young man could be viewed through the windows (from stahl #14) taking a selfie instead of taking my order. The Lights were then turned off on me and one other car just as they pulled into a stahl 16. I went through the drive-through at 9:50 PM. I was then told the car that arrived after me in car hop stahl but pulled through the drive-through after they turned off the lights was the last order for the night. No regard for the customers who were patiently waiting on them to take my order in a time when all businesses are asking customers to be patient. Classic case of employees not wanting to work and having 1 foot out the door before any time clock had been punched. read more

Drove thru the drive thru part of Sonic at 4:30pm on a Friday. There was 1 other car in the entire parking lot. I pulled up to the microphone and was instructed it would be a minute before they took my order. 4 mins later a woman took my order and I drove to the next window. There I saw 2 other employees and Sanorah having a good time watching videos on their phones and laughing it up. How hard can it be to just do a decent job.????? read more

This Sonic Drive In is the absolute worse. I sat at the order menu for five minutes and nothing. The red push light just stayed blinking. So at this point I decided to go to the drive through. I'm wondering why cars are leaving afterwards, I'm thinking they just didn't want to wait. My turn next, I drive she say "may I help you" I placed my order...then she says we're not taking orders. I'm like huh? So I said are yall taking car hop orders, she say we're not taking orders period. So I said just tell your manager to close then. Oh she precedes to jump into argument mode then says baby you're not talking to to me. Then I say of course I'm not talking to you, tell your manager to close the store if you all can't take orders. Instead of arguing with the child I drive around and call the store, and ask to speak to the MOD...they get quite for a minute.....then say she busy...I say she to busy to come to come to the phone and the phone call is for her. The young lady then hangs up on me. I called back, and said since your manager is busy, tell her to give you the number to corporate, and then that young lady hangs up the phone to. Needless to say I went on Google and and got the corporate number and put a complaint in. I'm not a Karen, but I refuse bad customer service from anyone. That what happens when you hire a bunch of immature children at your establishment and they have no home training on how to talk to their elders. I won't be going back to that Sonic. These people better be careful how they treat people. You don't know what people may be going through, that's how people get hurt. read more

Some things are too easy for people to get right sometimes, I guess. I'm not like all butthurt but it's worth noting the experience. I never go to Sonic, but we were starving and the two of us just needed to share a few bites to hold us over. We ordered a #11 with fries and a coke for $6.99. We got a #11 with fries, tater tots, one single onion ring and a coke for $9.29. When we got to the window we said, why is this 9.29? We only wanted the #11.... and she said, "Yea, the #11 with coke and fries. That's 9.29. You got a discount though!" Uhh. And then, everything was kinda dry. I won't be back to Sonic, likely, let alone this location. read more

If I could give this Sonic no stars, I would. We stopped at this location on 3 October 2021. We were traveling home from a vacation trip and stopped for a quick lunch. As we neared the restaurant, my wife did a mobile order and we checked in to a stall when we arrived. The screen on the menu indicated that the order was received and being prepared. A half hour later, no food. I attempted to make contact with an employee, but they refused to come outside and speak with me. My wife pushed the call button on the menu. A female employee answered and did not even give my wife a chance to speak, telling us they were busy and would get to us when they could. Another 15 minutes passed and an employee walked outside and asked what we were waiting for. When we told her our order, she stated we had to go through the drive thru. We've done mobile orders at many Sonic's and never had to go through a drive thru. When our food was brought out an hour after we arrived, each meal was in a separate bag and the bags were stapled closed with over 10 staples. None of our food was correct. We were starving, so we ate it. I couldn't even dispose of our garbage because all of the cans were overflowing onto the ground. We should have looked at the reviews prior to stopping. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. Or negative. This is THE WORST sonic. It is NEVER open and if it is it takes 30 minutes to get a subtype drink. Don't waste your time read more

I waited 20 minutes to get some chicken and a milkshake. Milkshake lacked the oreo I asked for, and the chicken tasted like it was underneath the fryers for 3 days. One girl acted clueless as if she forgot what a straw was, but the other was polite and apologetic. Overall 9/10 wouldn't go there. The 1/10 was for the nice lady who actually spoke. read more

The absolute worst . During Covid it's nice to order food and you don't have to go inside of a restaurant. My order was completely messed up. When I made it home and realized how bad my order was messed up I called Majah. And went back to get my order replaced as she said I could . The male manager would not correct my order when I went back. And said he would not honor the replacement !! I am reporting this all over social media and I have sent a letter to the corporate office. It doesn't look like it will help because their score is already so low!! Disgraceful read more

Had 3 different orders and the girl asked me twice to repeat each order, went up to the window and everything was wrong. They gave me a bag that had a big hole in the bottom and all the tots were not in the container just threw in the bag so I had tots all over my lap. They weren't even busy but I had to make them redo my whole order 3 times!!! This is so ridiculous and they didn't even care nor even apologize!!! read more

I asked for a burger with only ketchup and tater tots. The girl came to the car and I asked for ketchup for my tots. She said they were out of ketchup. So I asked is it they were able to put ketchup on my burger. She said yes so I said did they run out? No She said she could bring some in a cup as though she hadn't even considered the possibility. O.k. this is what gets me. She insults my intelligence by trying to make me believe she is too stupid to think about getting ketchup in a cup. No I didnt call her stupid. On the contrary there is no way I believe that she is that stupid but I do believe she is just your typical lazy melinnial. read more

Like all Sonics you order thru an intercom system from your automobile. Today the "Background Music" was so loud that I wasn't able to hear the order taker. For the same reason she apparently could not hear me. My order was only a number 2 (Double Cheese burger) without mayo or ketchup. Nothing was unusual. There was no special request. The drink I requested was water only. After waiting a unusually long time for a Sonic the order came and the only thing correct was the water. Management needs to understand that Background music is so named because it is supposed to be in the background and not played so loud that the ordering process gets screwed up. The music is NOT there so the employees can shuck and jive. It is there ONLY to create a nostalgic Ambiance. This is not a truck stop or a roadhouse. It is a burger restaurant. It is much cheaper to keep a customer Than to create a new one. read more
