I took my daughters in to Great American Cookies for a treat after a particularly eventful swim lesson. We went for the buy five get one free offer, so everyone got to choose two cookies. I won't hold you--everything was delicious! This location is co-located with a Marble Slab so it was a little difficult to know where to stand when we came inside as there appeared to be a lot of customers waiting and there's a shared staff behind the counter. I was pleasantly surprised to figure out that we were actually next in line, as the number of staff members allowed them to quickly break up the crowd we got our cookie quickly, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. read more

My family and I love cookies, so as we were in the area, we stopped by this cookie and ice-cream shop. The employees were super nice, attentive, and the shop was really clean. It's a lot of cookie selections, as well as ice cream flavors to choose from. They have buy 5, and get 1 free cookies. We selected macadamia nut, chocolate chip, just to name a few. The cookies are delicious, and soft. If we're in the neighborhood, we will stop by again. read more

GMA will ALWAYS be one of my favorite cookie companies. The peanut butter cookies from GMA have to be one of the best, if not the best, cookies I had EVER!! and that says a lot when it comes to me and cookies. GMA has been around for quite some time, and I hope they stick around for years to come because these cookies are hard to beat in my opinion. I'm just glad their not overpriced like the new kids on the block who keep popping everywhere. So thank you, GMA, for always staying consistent. read more

Love this location! Cookies always taste fresh, staff are very patient and friendly. The cookies are very well decorated and cute. I've used them for parties and never had an issue with production. This location also gives back to the community by hosting events for the kids. read more

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our daughter was celebrating her stuffed fox's birthday. They gave extra stickers and actually talked to the foxes. The place was clean, the staff wore masks the whole time. read more

So this place is so clean that I thought I was in a dream or had been hit by something and was walking into the gates of heaven, because as I opened the door the wonderful aroma of cookies, brownies and ice cream drowned my nasal passage down to my throat over to my heart and then it flowed straight down into my belly. Does it sound like I was happy? I hope so, because I was really in my version of fat girl heaven. I tried several different cookies. They had a by 5 get one free deal. We had a total of 12 cookies. My favorite was the oatmeal, then the peanut butter, the pecan supreme then the chocolate chip. The brownies were good too. The store is located in the South Point Mall plaza with the Khol's, Five and Below and Academy Sports. It is connected to the Marble Slab Creamery. Like they are inaide of the same door with no real separation between the two. read more

So at first glance, I had no idea that this was a Great American Cookies AND a Marble Slab. Super convenient to have them together. The employees allowed me to sample a few of the ice cream flavors before I made up my mind.Toppings are unlimited, so your creatively is not limited with your ice cream masterpiece. I got the small coffee ice cream with m&m's, oreos, brownie pieces & chocolate chips. It was so yummy and chocolately, which is exactly what I was craving. The place only has a three tables inside and a few seats outside, so there are not many seating options, but overall it is a clean place to grab some ice cream and go! read more

Every Valentine's I had bought a Valentine cookie for my grand kids. This year I am in the area so I went to the McDonough location to continue the tradition to my surprise I was disappointed not just with the cookie that was stuck to the cardboard heart under the cookie but also with the Manager Marissa that instructed me to take a spatula and separate the two. I informed Ms Marissa who had highly insulted my intelligence that after trying that without her assistance the cookie would not come apart from cardboard. After going back and forward she said bring it back and she would give me another one. When it was brought back she wanted to know if they tried to eat it out of the box. "REALLY" The cookie should be able to be lifted from the box to eat not scraped with a scoop. read more

Loved it , everyone was so nice. I never knew you could mix your ice cream flavors until now. I will be returning actually today lol , the chocolate chip cookies are bomb as well as the brownie chocolate chip. I will definitely recommend this place read more

So I purchased a half dozen brownies last weekend and after getting home to eat them they were hard as a rock and inedible. I called the store and manager said I may have gotten an older batch but could return for exchange. On yesterday, I went in and decided to get cookies as the exchange. The manager was rude, unapologetic for the inconvenience and would not even offer us a bag for the dozen cookies. The cookies were equally bad. Hard, dry and they crumbled when breaking to eat them. I actually got ill after ingesting one. I plan on discarding the rest and not allowing my children to eat them. I do not recommend this place. I have never posted an online complaint but given the lack of quality and poor customer service, I felt compelled to do so in this instance. Bake your own desserts rather than patronize this store. read more

The staff seems to pretty nice and welcoming. I did notice the tables were stained and dirty. And in a huge germaphobe.. and also why are there only 3 tables in a place that's so busy...over all I did like how they all welcomed me when me and some friends came in. I liked how the one lady was very interacted with a little boy in there. It was so sweet. They did all check to see if we were helped when looking at the different things and I liked that. I used to work in fast food when I was younger. Communication is key with your customer. Only giving 4 stars cause there is not enough seating arrangements and only one baby chair. Oh and my cookie was very doughy, but it could have just been a batch that cooked a little lower, accidents happen. read more
