Every single time I've gone in for the past 2 years they say, "oh, the wifi is down"...just say you don't want to pay for wifi for your customers. As much as I want to support local small business over chains, at least the chain coffee shops are clean and have working wifi. If a store is this dirty to the customers eye, I don't trust the machines and food storage. I am done trying to support them.

I ended up going with the house blend coffee, and I actually had to throw it out after drinking half of it, it was that bad. Just bitter and undrinkable. I had the group I was with try it too, and they agreed it was bad. To get to the bathroom in the back of the building, you had to walk around trash on the floor and multiple mouse traps. I know it's impossible to avoid mice, but it definitely just kind of throws you off when you have to make sure not to step on a trap. Needless to say, I would probably look for another place unfortunately.

Second, it's easy to find street parking next to Mugshots or about a block away near the Heritage Port Park entrance if you're here on a weekday. Third, the service was very friendly and pleasant. And finally, the interior of the cafe is cozy with the fun theme of mugshots. You can find lots of celebrity mugshots posted on the walls and tables. Overall, I very much enjoyed lingering in the cafe and relaxing a bit before resuming the drive on I-70 East. I would definitely return again for a coffee break in downtown Wheeling, WV.

They have a jar with various drinks on pieces of paper, and you can pick one at random to be made if you are looking for something new or want a surprise!
