The food was pretty bad and lacked flavour. I couldn't understand half of what the employees were saying because they were speaking a different language. However, they were friendly and respectful, which made up for the language barrier. The fries were awful. They tasted like cardboard and had no salt or seasoning. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for quality food in the Sackville area. You'd be better off going to Burger King. read more

Rude and drive thru layout is horrible, waited at least 25 minutes for just a few meals

Terrible service, they often get the order wrong and the workers aren't any good. They've looted me mystery liquid that's supposed to be my pop multiple times and chat up friends at the front counter when I'm waiting forever on my food read more

This store is my go to McDonald's. The staff are friendly and competent and they truly make the extra effort to make you feel at home. Recently I tried their new Creamy Parmesan and Bacon Quarter Pounder (with extra onions and pickles) lol. It was really very good and I hope it becomes part of the permanent menu, I was so impressed when Maddie from the management team came over to talk to us about our meal. Nothing says they care more than that. I really highly recommend this location. read more

Today we went to McDonald's as we were in a pinch. My five year old daughter ordered spite and my ten year old daughter ordered a chicken nugget happy meal with sweet and sour sauce. After I had paid I went to get my food I was told to go wait in a parking spot. I waited for about five to seven minutes. So my kids were already mad and hungry. When our food came out after waiting forever, my ten year old got three instead of four chicken nuggets and NO sauce at all. And my five year old got the most watered down sprite on the planet, which led her into an extreme tantrum. So do not eat here unless you are ready for the world's worst experience ever in fast food history. read more

The decor/design/layout of this McDonalds is quite unlike any I've seen before.. Although I must admit there seems to be a trend throughout Canada (moreso than in the States) to turn McDonalds kinda into the Starbucks of fastfood so to speak.. Gone is the tacky linoleum and gaudy fluorescent color schemes. Instead they have low lighting, cosy brick faux fireplaces and art/photography decorations more reminiscent of the inside of an Abercrombie and Fitch or Hollister store than the McDonalds of our youth... I'm withholding judgement as to whether this is a good or bad thing... It's good because its aesthetically pleasing and makes you feel a bit better about stuffing a bunch of processed garbage down your gullet.. Bad because I just paid almost $10 for two cheeseburgers, a shake and a regular fountain soda. Oh my!! read more

Know how the McDs commercials seem fake? Everyone is smiling, the food looks like it does in the pictures and its so clean you could eat off the floor? Well, I kinda felt like I was in that commercial yesterday when I went to this location. It was that good! They have a hostess who greets you at the door! She even came up during our meal and asked how our meal was. For real. I have never had a McDs employee do that before. Like ever. When we forgot to get an extra fork, she offered to get one for us. The kids wanted glasses of water and the counter staff were tripping over themselves to help. Whoever is doing the McTraining here is doing a great job. The table and counter tops were marble, They had red, deep wrap-around seating and mood lighting coming from funking looking light fixtures. The bathroom wouldn't have been out of place in a $27-an-entree restaurant and it was probably cleaner. I had the McLobster. Another McDs first for me. And you know what it wasn't bad at all! It looked better than the sandwich on the menu! Nicely toasted bun. Real or at least recognizable lobster chunks. Not too much mayo. I've paid way more for worse lobster rolls. Super-friendly staff, unexpectedly comfortable, clean and attractive interior. Palatable food. Hands down this is the nicest Golden Arches I've ever been under- and I have been in Euro McDs, man! I'd give them five starts, but it is a McDs after all. read more

We arrived at this location about 7:40pm on the evening of, Feb 26th. We placed our order at the Kiosk and wanted to pay with cash. We selected pay at the counter and were advised the total was $8.94 our the tickets that printed said 984. We took the ticket to the counter and it took about 5 minutes standing at the counter before anyone came to assist us. She then confirmed the total was $8.94 and we gave her $20. She then gave us $9.90 change. We told her that was not correct and the change should be $11.05. She agreed that the total came up as $8.94, but when she put the amount tendered as $20 the till told her to give us $9.90 in change. She then went to find someone to help her that took an additional few minutes. At this point there was a line up behind us at the counter. When the person that I assume was a manager came to assist she make some adjustment to the cash register and after a few more minutes gave us $0.50 and said that was all she owed us. So now we have $10.40 change when in fact it should be $11.05 in change. The manager was very rude to my wife and I and tried to blame us for the confusion. She said it was a glitch in the Kiosk and the breakfast sandwhich we ordered cannot be in a combo which the Kiosk allowed. We also used a mobile coupon for $1 off an order of $8 or more. She then blamed us for not telling the person at the counter about the coupon. Why should we have to? We entered this into the Kiosk and all we wanted to do was pay by cash and the Kiosk gives the option to pay at the counter. That is when she blamed a glitch in the system. I replied that is not my fault and she said to us "Well it's not my fault either." This manager was not taking any responsibility for the error and tried to turn it around on us. All we wanted was to be charged the $8.94 that the Kiosk said we owed. At this point it was 8pm and we had to go. We gave back the change they had given us and asked for the $20 back that we originally gave them. No word of an apology from the manager or anyone at the counter. They just gave us back our $20 and we left without our order. I cannot believe that the manager would treat us this way all over an error of $1.15. All she had to do was make the correction to the total to match the Kiosk total and we would have been happy and on our way. This was the worst example of customer service I have experienced at McDonalds. It was not a lot of money, but it was the way in which we were treated by the manager and employees. read more

Decent typical McDonald's. I went for breakfast and got the bacon and egg bagel, it was good wasn't to cooked or to under cooked. Only negative about this location is how dirty the pop machine area was. Ketchup over flowed and tons of water/pop all over the counter. Other than that great location friendly staff that seemed like they enjoyed what they were doing. Also a man came in missing his sandwich and they instantly got him a new one which was great ! read more

I am so disappointed and disgusted right now, I wish I could give negative stars. I have never publicly reviewed a place negatively like this before but I feel this is unacceptable. I ordered McDonalds from Skip the dishes this evening in Lower Sackville, the bags came sealed, however when I opened the box my burger was in there was a bite already taken out of it. When I called McDonalds they advised me to contact Skip the dishes about it, who refunded the burger, however the rest of the order they would not, despite the rest of the order was in the same bag with an item that had clearly gone to someone else before me. Given we are taking extra precautions with covid-19, it is unacceptable there was an already eaten item in the bag with the rest of the meal. I will never order from here again. read more

1 star because it won't let me give a 0 star. Lomg wait to even place the order, then 20 minutes from order to picking up food, with no cars in front (until making the corner... 3 cars lined up) Car in front (3rd back from window) left. When the foos came though the window... I asked what what was going on... apparently a "system error asked for the manager as this "error" was obv already going on before I ordered. Manager was "in the bathroom". Got home... nuggets had no sauce (had specified bbq)... no ice in drink, no napkins in bag, and my bacon strips were actually stacked 100% vertical on the burger. I've always understood go to mcds with a low expectation of service.... But this visit was something on a whole new level read more

Not a bad McDonald's. Really long wait if you go after 8'ish overall not to bad though

I see some bad reviews but other than being slow (keep in mind it's the busiest place in town) at times I find this place pretty accurate with your orders. It's fast food not a high class restaurant but they've done a pretty good job on the decor and made it attractive to stay in and eat! read more

Horrible service every time we go on a weekend night. I can't even leave a review on the feedback site because the staff didn't give us a receipt with our cold incorrect order, which means I don't have a restaurant number which means the feedback site won't work. If you are wondering if this is a decent McD's, it's fine for weekday breakfast. I never have a problem then. Lots of cleanliness/tidiness problems here as well, over-flowing garbage cans, etc. read more

Washroom is not family friendly. Only one sink works with cold water only. There is no kid sized toilettes. There are no paper products to open door when previous patron leaves without hand washing. It doesn't make me want to come back here with my kids read more

The absolute worst McDonalds' in the country. 20+ minute wait for an Egg McMuffin. Never again.

Slowest place on earth I go there ever morning for a coffee. don't ask me why even if no one is the it take 10-15 min every order goes out the staff say sorry for the wait must be in the training Manuel at that location!!!! read more

service was slow, i liked that you could order on machines instead of actually having to talk to people, good

Always a gong show. Long waits and very unorganized. The plan is operated by a bunch of kids! Even the manager is a young kid. The last few times I was there with my kids it wasn't even that busy yet the place was a mess, long waits and empty napkin dispensers. read more

Yep, they've solidified a solid never going there again for food after my pretty lousy experience yesterday. So, here's the thing - I went to get my kids free meals I was promised. The manager said "oh, we're just replacing 1 of the happy meals right" I said no, the manager I spoke to said everything would be replaced. Fine, he didn't even answer or acknowledge me he just walked away. It was busy, but not so busy I should have to wait 20 minutes!!! Oh, but I did. I noticed that everyone else seemed to be getting their orders - where the heck was mine? Oh, that's right....they forgot it. I get it, the girl apologized and said it was overlooked and I said it was fine, because, it sucked but it happens. Hey, at least we got warm fries right?! Anyway, I got home with the food, my daughter was extremely excited to try her Mediterranean veggie wrap..YUMMMY but unfortunately her wrap contained only lettuce and one slice of tomato. They put NOTHING else on the wrap. I didn't bother calling back again because the Manager didn't seem to care in the first place. I won't be going back again.... read more

Can't believe that I'm giving this location 4 stars! Usually very very slow and incompetent. I was on my way to Halifax and thought about going to the Bayers Lake location but stopped in here instead. Figured I would regret it... But was pleasantly surprised. Quick drive through service and friendly and they got my special order correct. They even remembered to add ketchup and a straw and napkins which is almost unheard of! Hopefully this location has improved. I live nearby but rarely or ever go to this McDonalds because it's not worthwhile. Great job today! read more
