McDon't even think about it

I'm following the MapDonald's that leads to you. Following following following. This is located up in Little Canada, and you might like this pretty decent McDonald's which serves hot french fries unlike many of the other locations that serve them lukewarm more often than not - which is why I come here, but it's getting expensive now. Because they can be, I guess - wasn't there a time when these things used to be really cheap? Like you can get french fries for a dollar? Nope. Can't really get that anymore. Used to be able get a good burger for a dollar and a Big Mac for 2 or 2.50, not so long ago. These days the dollar menu is atrocious, and the good burgers or the Big Macs are more expensive... they'll cost you a lot more than that these days.

I ordered a #1 meal with BBQ and Buffalo sauce on the side. They charged me $0.40 each for condiments, and didn't even give me them.

Food 5/5: I got the grandmas house latte and an everything bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese. The latte was well blended and overall very smooth. The bagel was very flavor full and I really liked the flavor combo between the bagel and cream cheese. Service 5/5: overall the staff was efficient and friendly Ambiance 5/5: the vaulted ceilings yet cozy aesthetic makes this place very visually pleasing. Plenty of space and tables, but hard to find a table when busy. Overall I had a great experience and will be back! A great option for a local coffee and pastry/bagel breakfast.

The service was wonderful! Everyone was so nice! When my boyfriend tried his drink, it just didn't taste right (iced vanilla latte with 4 shots of espresso) They remade it and were very apologetic! The drinks: I got an iced grandmas house with oat milk! There is no up charge for oatmilk! My wallet and stomach appreciated that! The flavor was really good! Unfortunately even with the remake, there seemed to be something off about my boyfriend's drink... I asked for them to take the vanilla out, thinking maybe be it was the syrup. But it just wasn't good. We were also hoping to get the pizza that was there but they only had slices, not a full pie. It was disappointing. Overall this is a nice coffee shop

From bamboo seats, to history on the walls, to colorful murals - the interior is decorated perfectly. There is even a small game section with uno, dominos and other board games for patrons to take advantage of. Seating options: lots! The variety is what you'd expect for a business: bar seating faces the parking lot which allows for natural light to seep in, 1 couch area with surrounding chairs, roughly 20 tables, about 6 booths and 1 giant closed off space with a long workstyle table which I'm unclear if you have to rent it or if it's free game. The service was mostly quick with a large menu displayed on the wall or a printed version which was nice to have options. As I prefer to use a hand-held menu, I took one home and repurposed it for a bookmark and eventually used it to revisit menu items. This trip I didn't opt in for any treats, but there is a plethora of options in the front display case including pistachio cake, Oreo cheesecake, spicy chicken curry pie, cake pops, and tiramisu. I was pretty basic on this visit attempting the Mufawaar coffee which is a medium roast coffee with cardamom and cream. The barista asked if I wanted sugar which I agreed. This drink was outstanding!! I would get it again for sure. What I enjoyed most about Qamaria is that I felt as if I was learning about another culture as it promoted me to research Yemen more. In addition, I could taste the fresh spices in my drink which is hard to find at other coffee shops. Lastly, I'm all for promoting small business and ones that are unique to Minnesota. Qamaria is all of it. Thank you!! I look forward to returning with friends on my next visit.

The young man at the counter offered me an extensive menu of regular coffees, espresso drinks and specialty drinks, all of which could be made hot or cold. They also have a variety of milk selections. Unfortunately, they were out of skim milk today, but he offered to tweak the amount when I told him that the main reason I usually had skim milk was to enhance the coffee flavor(and their coffee really tasted good). Additionally, he offered to make my drink in my personal cup which was great since I hate to use plastic whenever I can. This location is only a half block from United Hospital and all its various buildings and there is no good coffee within that entire complex. It's definitely worth getting a breath of fresh air and taking a block and a half stroll to have a great cup of Joe! By the way, although I tried hard not to look, their pastry case looked scrumptious, filled with homemade pies by the slice and other goodies. Since they are so close to the hospital it's really nice that they also have a lovely display of fresh cut flowers. Next time I'm down here I'm going to stop in for a meal. If the food is as good as the coffee I think I'll become a regular.

Great selection; I spotted a couple of records that I don't find often. And they have cassette tapes! I am very much of the cassette tape generation and I can confirm that those janky little rectangles don't have the same nostalgia appeal as big, pretty disks, but it's cool that they are offered! If you are just interested in checking out a record store I think you'll be satisfied here. But I like coffee shops and I loved my coffee and my breakfast sandwich. I got the Caramel Creme Brulee latte which was delicious. They even singe the top like a real creme brulee! It sounds like it will be too sweet but it isn't; great flavor balance with the coffee flavor not being overtaken. They sell a variety of beans as well. There is a nice sidewalk patio area, and it's a comfortable, chill hangout spot in this lively urban neighborhood. I like it very much here!

Overall just a fun, feel-good spot that combines great coffee, great music, and great people. One of those places you leave already planning to come back.

The miso cortado was delicious and really stood out, and they have a great variety of specialty drinks. The service was also extremely kind and welcoming, which I genuinely appreciated. That said, the space didn't quite live up to the hype. The location felt a little unfinished. Minimal decor, unfinished flooring, and no truly cozy seating made it feel less like a place you'd want to settle into for a while. While they encourage people to linger and don't offer Wi-Fi (which I respect), the ambiance doesn't quite support that intention. It felt more like a quick in-and-out stop, even though that doesn't seem to be their goal. The atmosphere was chill, with vinyl records playing in the background, which was a nice touch. I just wish the overall design and seating matched that relaxed, stay-awhile vibe. Great coffee and kind staff, but the space itself didn't fully align with the experience I was hoping for.
