Quick service and a surprisingly great drive-thru experience at McDonald's. What really stood out was that I could clearly hear the drive-thru employee call out that something was missing from my order so it could be corrected when I pulled up. When you have picky kids and have to order things a little differently than standard meal numbers, that almost never happens -- and orders are often wrong because of it. It was genuinely refreshing to hear someone paying attention and doing her job thoroughly to make sure the order was right. Small thing, but it made a big difference for us. I'm not a frequent McDonalds customer but was caring for 3 children one day and decided McDonalds was the way to go for lunch. I found the kiosk too complicated so I went to the counter. The nicest, most patient man helped me. Ordered my meal and a chicken nuggets happy meal for the youngest child. Then one of the elementary school aged children placed an order of "a happy meal burger with cheese, lettuce, mayo. No Apple but apple juice". The next one wanted a "Happy Meal burger with cheese, onions, ketchup. Yes to apples and fries and chocolate milk". I didn't even know you could change it up. The man taking the order never flinched as he took their orders. I thanked him!! Our order came correctly and twice while eating, an employee stopped by to see if all was well. Wow! This is located up in Little Canada, and you might like this pretty decent McDonald's which serves hot french fries unlike many of the other locations that serve them lukewarm more often than not - which is why I come here, but it's getting expensive now. Because they can be, I guess - wasn't there a time when these things used to be really cheap? Like you can get french fries for a dollar? Nope. Can't really get that anymore. Used to be able get a good burger for a dollar and a Big Mac for 2 or 2.50, not so long ago. These days the dollar menu is atrocious, and the good burgers or the Big Macs are more expensive... they'll cost you a lot more than that these days. read more

I also got a coke with my meal and it is the only time ever going to McDonalds in my 42 years that the soda has tasted off . It was way syrupy and not as carbonated and tasted strange . Mcdonalds is one of the only places I get coke because of their contract with Coca-Cola and the fact theirs tastes better than other fast food places for that reason . On 4/8/2020 at approximately 2:30pm, I ordered an egg McMuffin meal. The egg was old, yolk was turning green. Muffin was soft and not freshly toasted. Both had clearly been sitting in the UHC (universal holding cabinet) well past their holding time. The hashbrown was very hot, and there was oil all over everything in my bag. The outside of the hashbrown was very well done and hard, but the inside was actually cold. It was clearly an old hashbrown that was placed back in the fryer to freshen it up. On 4/9/2020 at 1:35pm, I was told by a manager that she could only replace it with the same items, and because all day breakfast was currently cancelled, there was nothing she could do but take my name. Really? All I can do is come back yet another time during breakfast? With two key presses and a passcode, you could have given me the two cheeseburgers I ordered on April 9 for free and sent me happily on my way. I contacted McDonalds and I still have not heard a peep from the franchisee. This is why I'm leaving my first critical Yelp review of a McDonald's location. I will not be back. read more

I ordered like $22 worth of food on the mobile app this past Friday night. It was not for me but my homeless little brother who will not accept any help but food. I even called the store with my explanation of what I wanted to do. The employee who I originally spoke with said ya as long as your brother has the order number he can pick it up anytime. So I proceeded to order the food and even got the order number. My brother went to pick it up and was told there was no order. Confused and slightly upset I called the location here once again and spoke with the same employee who said they had no such order. I gave the employee the order number the mobile appr provided me and was told again they had no mobile orders. I confirmed there address and after that, I asked to speak with a Manager. I waited for 2-3 minutes and I could hear the employee was confused about my situation. The Manager was not much help either. He ended up telling me he would give my brother all his leftovers so he could eat. The next day I met my brother to buy him breakfast and was told all they gave him was a cold burger and told him not to loiter anymore. I am so mad about this and I have reached out to customer service and was told that one must be present to check-in for their order. I have ordered food for my brother before like this at other locations as well. I really think that this corporation does not give a shit about anything but making a quick $$. I will be boycotting them and I hope others do the same. read more

We stopped Thursday (09/01/2022) morning at 3:15am coming home from the Hospital and we were both hungry. The first thing we were told was that between 3am and 4am they only accept cash, no credit cards. Also, I was not able use my McDonald's app. We asked why. The owner has it setup that way for banking reasons. We ordered, paid with cash. I was not allowed to receive a receipt. So, I guess no transactions are being recorded. Our order was completely wrong: I had asked for no ice in my diet coke. Also, no ketchup on my two cheese burgers. I received ketchup and onions on my two burgers (no burgers we marked or tagged) The person I was with order the double cheese burgers with extra pickles. He got only ketchup on his burgers. This sounds really suspicious, especially with the money not being rung the registers. According to guy we picked our food from, the owner does this at all three of his McDonald's he owns here in town. I assume he is skimming the cash. Because with today's technology, there is not any reason for their systems to be offline. We were told that McDonald's corporate knows how he runs his restaurants and do not care. Plus, call the manager in the morning if I have a problem, as there was not anyone there to assist me. (Really, no Manager or Supervisor on duty?) What a scam. read more

This McDonalds is the worst. My husband and I actually refer to it as "McCraples". Its the closest location to my house, I go here twice a week. It doesn't seem to matter if its 2pm or 630 dinner rush, the fries are ALWAYS horrible. They could be jam packed busy but the fries are never even remotely fresh. How does that happen on a regular basis? I went to another McDonald's and tasted what fresh food was and omg-I couldn't believe what I'd been missing out on. The burgers are actually good when they're fresh! And holy cow, I had forgotten how good the fries can be! Not to mention this place screws up my orders about 40% of the time. This is a place I come to with often...actually since Highschool. I have had small minor issues in the past but my experience today just put the cherry on top! This McDonald's sucks. I go here often because it's closest to me but I regret it every time. Not too long ago I went through the drive through and I was told my total was 22.60, I gave her $23 and got my 40 cents change. After getting my food my receipt said 19.60!! Meaning she scammed me out of $3, and I'm sure I'm not the only one she's done that too as most people never even look at their receipts! Today I actually went in to the lobby to get food to go as the drive through line was very long. Every time I order I always ask for a large water instead of a regular small as I drink a ton of water and was taking it to go. I was told by an extremely rude manager that I could not have a large water, and I could only have a tiny cup for my water with no lid that will not work for me on the go. Now I don't usually expect much from mcdonalds but are you telling me a multi billion dollar corporation can't give me a large water cup for free with an order of over $25???? Are you kidding me?? And somehow every time I go through the drive through my large water is magically free but not when I'm in the lobby?? I was forced to pay for a large cup to put my WATER in. Absolutely rediculous. Now for the icing on the cake, I get home (3 minute drive, max) and both of the large fries are cold and stale like they've been sitting out for hours, and my burger is literally over halfway off my bun and crumpled.
