I ended up choosing a BLT sandwich with fries. The BLT wasn't bad. The fries were seasoned pretty well. I didn't realize until after I ordered that I could have gotten a slaw dog, but I'll keep that in mind for next time. I'm not familiar with the Cook Out restaurants, so I'm not sure if this is the norm but this restaurant did not have any dine in options.

We waited in drive thru line for about 15 minutes, before we were able to order and about another 15 to 20 minutes for our food (which we had to pull to the side). We got the 20 pieces family meal and a 8 piece family meal to make sure we have enough food. By the time we got to the house boat out on Lake Cumberland it's was late and we were hungry, So didn't get pictures of the food. Everything was still hot and fresh, our only complaint was that we didn't get gravy with our mashed potatoes. Which wasn't a deal breaker because everything was delicious! Definitely worth the wait for them to cook it fresh.

I had the pork shoulder plate and the bright spot was the pork, seasoned to perfection and cooked just right so the fat was rendered. Sadly somewhat tainted by having to roll it up and eat it with my hands because the knife was not capable of cutting through it. The sides were not to my taste, but that could be a preference thing. The cucumber salad was watery and tasted like pickles and the coleslaw too heavily dressed for my liking. We split a slice of mixed berry cheesecake and that was fairly nice with a thin crust. Bathrooms weren't nice and generally had a weird vibe. I wont be back.
