They are extremely rude and impolite and when you ask if something is done already or are you going to have to wait because you don't have time they always lie and then they make you wait for eternity so then you're french fries get cold and nobody wants cold french fries but if you complain and say they're cold they say well we can take those back in if you let him take them back in that's another 15 minutes so they come out now your burgers are cold. Ordered breakfast through the mobile app, sat in the right side drive thru lane for 20 minutes watching cars in the left lane get their orders taken while the car ahead of me just sat there. I Pulled around to get my order taken in the left lane and when they pulled up my mobile order they wouldn't make it because it was after 10:30. I understand they have to to get ramped up for lunch at 10:30, I work in fast food also so this never bothers me. Just wish they would've been taking orders in both sides of the drive thru...wasted 20+ minutes of my time just to not get any food. read more

I was ordering my food inside. Once I got done ordering the girl that was taking my order said to me "damn you want ALL that food". She said it with an attitude and was very rude. Also, when I was ordering she kept interupting me. After I would say anything she would say "mmmh" like she was judging my order. People like this should NOT get hired with that attitude. When I was walking out with my order, I heard her say to the boy next to her "she don't need no Mcdonalds". From the way she was acting towards me I assume she was trying to call me fat. read more

I don't know if this is the right McDonalds. The one I went to was located on Sharon Rd. and inside the Love's Truck Stop. I used the kiosk to order and then my order was held up while three other customers came in, ordered food and received their orders. In the meantime I went to the counter to see what the holdup was. TWICE! The first time they said they were working on the order then ten more minutes went by before I went back. Again I repeated my order and found they had bagged it up and left it on the counter in the kitchen instead of bringing it to the table. By the time we got the food it was cold and an item was missing. Frustrated was not the feeling I had, it was anger. Instead of handling their customers they were trying to close. It is basically just a standard McDonald's in terms of taste. The challenge they have is the service by the staff. There not seem to be desire by the staff to even work there. They are either indifferent to the customer or at times rude. I realize that working at a McDonald's is not a life long career but I think you need to have both a smile on your face and in your voice. Basically, the local management of this franchise does not want to build a great team - just to survive. If you use the drive-thru for purchases, you maybe not interact with the staff much. Big sign on front door says "Come on in!". So I go in. I am traveling, and want to fill my travel mug with ice water. It's the size of a small drink at McDonalds. The cashier tells me I have to pay for the ice and water. In several decades of travel, across the US, nowhere have I been told I need to pay for ice and water. It's known as customer good will. I get my food and sit down to eat. An employee comes over and tells me I can't eat in the restaurant. So much for "Come on in!". Every other restaurant I've visited in Laurel is open, and people are eating inside. read more

I have been wanting to work with my McDonald's app so I went through. The deal was a free double cheeseburger with a purchase and I love this sandwich. Well at least I did. The sandwich was not even warm! The cheese wasn't melted and there was coagulation of grease on the meat. On top of this thy must have had a bunch if pickles because they were piled on. This McDonald's on 16th Ave in Laurel, MS, actually deserves a zero, however I had to give at least one to get started. I ordered 2 4 for 4s and a deluxe chicken sandwich combo today. When I got home, my oldest son opened his box of chicken nuggets to find no chicken nuggets just a box of "sauce". So I when back to get my son's chicken nuggets and I asked the lady to explain to me what this is. Her reply was it's sauce and she asks me did I order sauce? I told her no, and they literally just threw another box of nuggets in a bag, no apologies, no we're sorry, or anything. They were very rude. So I get home again and sit down to eat my food, I took a sip of my drink and it was flat and it wasn't even the drink I ordered. The chicken sandwich was terrible. Working in the food industry myself, I can fully understand what the staff are going through; but, like I always say, "if you are unhappy with where you work, find another job." I never really have an issue with this particular location but today they were extremely rude. Then, when I tried to explain what the problems were (food rang in wrong, wrong drinks, and missing sauces) I was met with an attitude. The runner stood there and stared at me until I asked her specifically for the correct items. After she gave me one of the items, she stared at me again until I asked for one of the other items I told her about initially. All in all, just don't go here after lunch. I frequent this McDonald's a lot, particularly in the mornings. Their lines are always moving quickly as they are expected to. At times, some of the workers are dry and not as friendly when I ask again for the grape jelly I already asked for when making my order. Otherwise, no problems! read more

We called because we didn't want to come in last minute Incase they were trying to close. Once on the phone woman was extremely short and rude with me. Then the lady taking my order got a little confused over what I was asking, then became extremely rude and short as if I was wasting her time. As we pulled up to the window they were talking about us. We were 1 of 3 customers and they had to ask 3 times what we had ordered at the final window. Also they have a sign stating their fountain drinks are down and when asked their ice cream machine, slushees, teas, and coffee are also down.
